Their work is high quality and the deck looks great! The administrative process was challenging. APS preferred a verbal estimate without seeing the deck & the price changed when they arrived to do the work. I was asked to pay by check before the work was done with nothing in writing, especially the 3 year guarantee. When I finally received the invoice late one evening, I gave my credit card to the technician the next morning and was told there was normally a 3% fee for credit cards that may be waived. Then received a call from the office harassing me for payment and another call stating the fee was 6%, not 3%. Bad business impression.
