They were amazing. The pricing was fine. They took the time explaining what to do. They were very responsive. Very punctual. Very professional.

Call and schedule and appointment on Monday July 10th for tuesday july 11, given a time window 10 - 12, they called at 12 and said the could not be there until 2 to 4 pm, they called at 4pm and said the could not make it until the next day. I could not spent another whole day waiting on them and not sure they would show up, cancel appointment. Don’t call unless you have the time to wait on them.

The service technicians arrived promptly as promised. They quickly located the leak in my flower bed, replace the pipe , and then put the dirt back inside my flower bed. The guys were very professional. When they left there was nothing left behind indicating that a somewhat major repair was completed that day. I'm so pleased with the service that I have told all my neighbors to use them for their plumbing needs.

Though getting an appointment was a little complicated, once I was connected with a scheduler a time was chosen at my convenience. The agent came at the agreed time heard the noise. He quickly diagnosed the cause and came up with a reasonable quote. He then had to get the appropriate part and returned to replace the problem valve. By the afternoon the problem had been resolved. The agent AJ was polite and very professional. I am very pleased by the services rendered.

It went very well. I was fortunate to get the owner himself who surprisingly was able to come the very same day. He came on time, explained what he needed to do and was extremely professional and polite. He also took the time to do a check on another issue I was having with a knocking sound in the pipes and made an adjustment as a courtesy, which I thoroughly appreciated. Additionally, he followed up afterwards to check that all had continued to be well. This is a locally owned small business, which I was pleased to support. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone seeking plumbing services.

They called back within 30 minutes of my initial call, gave me an accurate window for arrival, were very professional and friendly in person, and did a good job finding the problem. Extra credit for being very respectful of the home and bringing shoe covers (which I have learned are not standard for service people who come out). I would be very happy to use them again and highly recommend the company.

Great plumbing experience. My 16-year-old water heater was leaking from the pressure-relief valve on a Saturday afternoon. After hours of Net-searching water heaters and "deals," I opted for the nearest master plumber, Arthur Chapman, and sent him an Angie's Note. About 6 p.m. by then, I was surprised when he called within 5 minutes to discuss the problem - quoted me a price that was lower than anything I'd found online and set up appointment for Monday a.m. He was punctual, courteous, and personable. Arthur explained things, answered all my questions, and was a pleasure to talk to. From draining the old tank, switching in a new one, reconfiguring/soldering pipes, filling new tank, and showing me how it works, it took +/-3 hours, which I think is pretty speedy. I'd highly recommend Arthur Chapman and will definitely call on him again for my next plumbing crisis.

It's all good. No more leaks. No damage near the toilet. Now I'll need to have someone repair the ceiling and repaint it.

Terrible. We have a fire hydrant in the front yard. He backed into the driveway and hit it. When I mention that I saw him hit the fire hydrant, he just said he didn't know what that was. Thank goodness he didn't hit it hard enough to knock it down. That was one strike against him. When he came to the door, he took off his filthy shoes to reveal even filthier socks. I almost ask him to put back on his shoes. His clothes were also dirty. Strike two, I showed him the problem with the first toilet, he took a picture which didn't capture the problem, (which was when it flushed air bubbles came out of the toilet),and asked me does anyone use that toilet. I have 3 grandsons, so YES we use it. I took him to the next toilet with a leak in the tank, he didn't see a leak, but the bucket under the tank didn't seem to be an indication. Another photo, no questions. Third bathroom the shower faucets needed to be replace, you guest it, another photo. Back down to the kitchen where the plumbing needed to be inside the walls. Another picture. After the last picture, he went to leave and at the door he said that his boss will contact me with an estimate. Strike three. To this day no contact or estimate. I did find a great company.

I called them and they came out the next day. They were very helpful and did their job! They were here for quite a while and only charged for the fee to come out. They told me that I didn't have a leak but that there may be a problem with the overflow line. He said that if there were any problems that he would come out and check it again. I was very pleased with the service and the technician.

Member comments: The lady dispatching the plumber was confident the guys would make the 3:00 to 3:30 pm appointment. But they ran into a little problem and the repair at the job took them longer than expected. life is full of these kinds of disappointments. but Author and his second in command got to the rental by five. once they got to the property the work went swiftly. they fixed the leak in the tub, rooted out the drain clog from the hair. even put in my pedestal sink I didn't tell the dispatcher about. They did the work quickly and professionally. If you want a good plumber at a good price call these guys and it won't be next week from Friday. Joseph E. Huggins

Based on the reviews and location, I contacted Plumbing Plus to come and repair my outside faucet. The person that answered the phone said she would call back with a time/date/estimate. She called back within the hour for next day service. Arthur arrived on time, evaluated the problem, made a suggestion concerning insulating outside pipe and I said do it. He was done with repair and insulation and gone within 2 hours. Everything done to my satisfaction. I will use Plumbing Plus the next time I need his service. Nice guy and great service.

I was not pleased with the person I spoke to on the phone the first day I tried to schedule this appointment. Then after it was finally scheduled, I took half a day off work to be here and wait for the technician. When the technician had not shown up after 40 minutes of me waiting, I had to call to find out where they were. I was told there was an emergency and was not told when I might expect a plumber. I called back two hours later after still not hearing and was told that I still had no plumber coming. I was not offered an alternative appointment, and now after wasting half a day of my vacation time, my faucet is still not fixed and it's too late to get a plumber before I go out of town on Tuesday. I am completely disgusted by the lack of customer service and the rudeness of your office employees. I will not be requesting service from you again and I will be publishing a negative review on Angie's List.

I contacted this company because they were recommended on Angie's List. I had a clogged disposal and knew it wasn't an emergency but wanted to get it taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. The first thing was that when you call them you get an answering machine saying that their hours are 9-5. I left a message and called back after business hours began and got the answering machine again. It was 4 hours before anyone called me back with a message saying they could come out the next morning, which would have been ok except I got the message after 5 and couldn't reach anyone to confirm. I left a message saying I was not pleased with thir response time or their hours but that if someone could come out the following day I could arrange to be home. No one ever called me back.

They made this my best experience with a plumber. I even called back at a later date when I had another issue and he talked me through a fix over the phone and gave me his cell phone number free of charge. Excellent customer service and approach.

I have a rental property that a tenant just moved into the day before. Her powder room toilet was running very slow and just got progressively worse. My handy husband went to check on it and tried to plunge and snake the toilet, but only worsened the situation. Water started backing up into the dish washer, the sink and a utility closet and on the hardwood floor. He called me and I frantically looked on Angie's List for someone, ... Anyone for HELP!!! After several calls and several turn downs, and ""we don't come to that area"", and ""we can't come until tomorrow"", I talked to the owner of Plumbing Plus, L.L.C. (I was able to get him on his cell phone, by the way.) He was very nice and kept me calm, and assured me that he would get there in about 2 hours. Well he got to the problem in less than an hour and took care of it. I am happy, and our tenant is happy, and the problem is solved. This is the person that I will indeed call in the future if any other plumbing problems arise in any of our rental properties. I could not thank him enough and when you have a great experience with a contractor, you don't mind sharing the information.
