Wow, what a terrible experience. Wanting to support a local business, I brought my trimmer in to be repaired when I needed service. Ultimately, I had to bring the trimmer back after they charged me more than $100 for the original repair, waited weeks without contact and had to personally call for updates, and wouldn't make it right when I requested a discount on buying a new one from them, rather than continuing to sink money into my existing trimmer. My advice? Shop somewhere else.

Bad, they were 2 weeks past what they said on repair time. They did not do the repair list, but charge me for all items. I would not use them again.

It went horrible.... This company is a scam lawn mower repair company. They employ a thief for their pickup/delivery guy of riding lawn mowers & they back up his lies & blame the customer for stolen parts, off their own mowers. I called them to fix an issue with my lawn mower, after another lawn mower company damaged my mower and disconnected wires that were tucked neatly on my mower. They gave me the number of their pickup/delivery guy & pick up was set. When the guy picked up my mower all of my bagger attachments were in place, the bags, the bagger holder and the tube that moves grass from the cutting bed to the bagger bags. Their pick up guy said no worries because he would not remove anything other than the bags that fit in the bagger, I said ok. When I got home the bags were the only items left behind my fence. Fast Forward to a week later & me calling this companies sales guy, Gabe Glaze (gabe.fayettemower@yahoo.com) & they still hadn't checked my mower, which I was told it would only take 2 days to get an assessment. The next day Gabe said nothing was wrong with the mower, which was weird, because it was clear some wires were hanging down out of place, it was leaking some substance & I said this to Gabe. He said he would have his tech take another look at it overnight again, why this would be needed if you have skilled lawn mower techs? The next morning Gabe called me to say yes it was leaking transmission fluid & there was a slight crack as well. Due to the cost, no need to repair, it would be better to buy another rider. The mower was returned to me & I paid 65 for the delivery, since Gabe said they wouldn't charge for the service check. I said ok and that was that. This weekend (1 wk after return of mower) I noticed that the airflow regulator on my bagger tube connection was missing. Ive had this bagger for 9yrs & was cutting my lawn fine for most of the summer & now this small but important piece was missing. I took pictures & took them to Gabe & his first response was, well I see here we didn't charge you for the service fee, as if it was a even trade for them to steal a piece off my bagger. When I said that to him he said, no I didn't mean it like that, yeh ok, then why say such a stupid comment. We asked his tech about my missing piece off the bagger & he said no bagger was on the mower at all, which was a lie. So I called the delivery guy Richard because surely he would support what he took from my home & he lies saying the tube wasn't there but the bagger was. So, now i know who stole the piece off my tube, because the delivery guy picked up my mower with the tube and the tube was connected when he returned it. So that would mean he took it off and didnt deliver it to Fayette Mower but why was Fayette Mowers tech lying saying there was no bagger? When I asked Gabe, so how the piece could get taken, he told me maybe someone in my home did it. Like really, one of my loved ones went outside and just decided to take a piece off my lawn mower after me having it for 9 years? Really that makes sense to this guy. This is the worst repair company you'll ever send your mower too and therefore find someone else.

They held my mower, which I dropped off for tuneup for over 30 days while consistently telling me it was on the next day's schedule for the workbench. When I finally got fed up and went to retrieve it I found the mower had not moved from the place it had been put when I first dropped it off. It had been left outside for the entire period through several rainstorms and though they did not even touch it in the interim they tried to keep my deposit.

I dropped my mower off on 1/10/13 for a carburetor cleaning and rebuild from damage caused by the ethanol/gas mix. I do the light maintenance on my mower so I did not need a new air filter, oil change, spark plug, or blade sharpened. When I left the mower, I told the young man not to do that maintenance work. Just fix the carburetor. He said OK. A week later, I picked up the mower all the maintenance items I had told them not to do had been done and they wanted another $25 for that work. If I had asked for that work to be done, that would have been a fair price, but I did not request that work to be done and had told them not to do that work. They removed the charge after I brought it to their attention. Dos: Remove all hardware that will fall off your mower before you drop off the mower. Have them document on their computer work order form any request you make concerning repair. Don'ts: Do not leave it at their shop after the repair has been made. It may be left out in the rain because of limited space. Overall my mower runs better than it did when I purchased it. The price was fair for the carb rebuild and they were good about solving the problem from the unwanted extra work. I will do business with them again.
