The first day install of the walk in door was ok except the door was hinged to open out in the wrong direction. The build of the barn style bay door did not go well and essentially 3 hours after my brother suggested how to attach the plywood on the outside they did so and stopped for the day. When I complained as I considered the men not able to do the job the boss Randy came out on Monday with the same 2 men and claimed that we didn't specify how the door should open and stated that there would be no extra charge to do the build right. We (my brother and I) explained "Old School" side hinged bay doors were built out of wood and not just a metal frame with plywood put only on the outside as they thought. The workmen then went to work building the door as we asked with interior and exterior casing over the metal frame. The owner Randy Tudor had claimed when he was there that he didn't have his notes with so could not say what the price was. When the job was complete he failed to come to get payment and sent a text message indicating the total was 1625.00 for the job. Today, Wednesday after texting back and forth a couple of times he showed up and provided a receipt for the agreed sum of 1200.00 for the job and accepted payment stating he wasn't going to argue the price.

I called this company multiple times and no one ever called me back.

Called for est, very friendly BUT NOT dependable. Said he would give us an estimate and start work in a few days. 2 weeks past and never heard back, called at 3 weeks and he said he was at lunch and would call back. He never called back, this is the most unprofessional way to run a business. Put us behind a month on the project looking for someone else. Unless you want to play phone tag and wait weeks for the contractor to respond would not recommend.

The job was completed and the front door looks better than it has in a while. However it turned out that the frame for the crawl space was too long for the opening. So I told them to take it with them to get it cut to the right length. The plywood for the door was left behind so it would be here when they came back to install it.

At first, it was very difficult getting Mr. Tudor to begin the work. However, after letting him know I needed the job done within a specified time period or I would have to go with another service, he responded with great professionalism and speed. And, the gentleman who did the worked did an outstanding job.

Seamless. Mr. Tudor is very passionate about his craft and extremely professional. He fixed what was broken and went above and beyond to ensure my parent's house was better than before we contracted with him.

They were done in an hour. However, it is deceiving when you order 2 hours of work and then are told by the workers that means "man hours" not actual hours.

-He decided to arrive and do the work at the same time, and tried to uncharge me for remodeling work to remove a bathtub and a water heater. In the process of removing old tub we discovered the sub-flooring had water damage and needed repaired; he initially quoted me an outrageous price to repair the entire bathroom sub-flooring when it was only a 3' x 4' area. -He showed up two hours late with his workers and In the end they did not completely repair the damaged area.

They were great. They upgraded the flooring. The engineered wood, it would hold up better. He did it for less than Sears did. I was impressed. It was, they knocked it right on out.

Told him about an broken piece of carpet, and needed an estimate for the room. It was an good deal.

Although they took longer than predicted, their quality was top notch. they built a new wooden gate with a steel frame. We are very happy with results,

Tudor Home Improvements did not fully or properly repair the chimney and delivered severely subpar work on both the interior and exterior of the house. Much of the exterior repair work was done behind existing vinyl siding, so the quality of their work did not become apparent until we later had another contractor remove the vinyl siding, revealing Tudor's work product. Instead of removing and replacing all damaged wood, siding, flashing, etc., Tudor simply put up various pieces of wood, plywood, and flashing, effectively delivering a "patch" job. For the $2,850.00 that we paid, Tudor was supposed to deliver "turnkey" (quoting Mr. Tudor when he gave the quote) work, not a patch job. In the interior of the house, where Tudor was engaged to repair drywall and molding damage from the chimney leak, he yet again delivered subpar work. The patches on the wall and ceiling, rather than being turnkey, are very visible, contain cracks, and frankly look worse than the initial damage. At the time the services were delivered, we were willing to overlook the subpar work on the interior of the house because we assumed the exterior work had been done in a high quality manner per our agreement. After discovering the poor quality of the exterior work (when the vinyl siding was removed) and paying another contractor to fix the work, we simply could not overlook Tudor's poor workmanship and failure to deliver on our agreement. Mr. Tudor, rather than living up to the "100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee" that he advertises, has chosen to ignore requests to resolve this issue.

He was very rude. Don't waste your time unless you're going to spend at least $30,000. All I heard about word huge kitchen jobs in very large homes. I don't know if he thought I wasn't going to pay him, or if he just didn't want to do the job. As he left, he said that he might call me or probably not. He was extremely rude. I have since completed my kitchen through those, and they did a fantastic job. I have since finished the job through Lowes. I got new cabinets and new Pella Window,all new appliances, a new door, a new floor, and a new laundry room. It turned out beautifully.

Excellent, service. Prompt and efficient. Repaired the door without any problems. Secured and aligned door to original state. Perfection!!

Contractor offered a 2-hour handyman service for $98.00. I purchased the service through Angie's List in order to have two shadow boxes hung in my living room but never received a call back from the contractor. On June 1st I contacted the contractor by telephone. He curtly informed me that I could text him my contact info and that he would get back to me within a few days. I texted my contact info as requested and received the following reply - "Got it." Two weeks later I have still not received a call back for scheduling despite providing a follow-up text. This contractor does not mind keeping a customer on hold for indefinite periods of time with little to no communication. It's an incredibly unprofessional way of doing business. I will NOT use this contractor for ANY future work and have received a refund from Angie's List for the 2-hour service. In order to complete the work needed, I contacted another company - B&C Handy Man Services - who came to my location the VERY NEXT DAY. During the two-hour service B&C hung my 2 shadow boxes, assembled and installed a garden fountain in my front yard, and buried the power cable leading to the garden fountain pump. While I will NOT use Tudor for any future work, I've already used B&C for additional interior painting and yard maintenance. Randy and his entire staff were incredibly professional, well mannered, and very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The crack in the master bathroom ceiling was getting larger by the day. The end results of his staff left job well done. He also new a furniture person that could fix a chair at a reasonable price, and even drooped it off after hours!

Excellent team. Very friendly and still professional. They saw a few things not on our list and dealt with them. The work was excellent, the job then reviewed by the business owner who created his own punch let including many things we did not notice on our own. Very meticulous in their work and excellent I cleaning up each evening. They are full service renovators. When we do anything else to the house, we will definitely use Tudor

randy was prompt and efficient. His painters were respectful,neat and were quite concerned about the quality of their work. I am a fanatic with my house and they met my expectations

Very pleased. Got a call back from the owner right away, who was very flexible and prompt with scheduling. Arrived prepared with all the right tools and materials, and had work that would've taken me all day done in two hours. Repairs looked just like new, which was important to me since the house is only about 5 years old. Will be hiring again soon for some painting and tile.

Randy was very personable, and professional, and worked non-stop for the entire two hours of time that I purchased through Angie's List. He installed the levered door knobs and dead bolts with ease, despite one very unruly door. I was very satisfied with all of his work. I will definitely use this company again for my "Handyman" needs.

They are doing an excellent job. They are very friendly. They have always been friendly. I would recommend them to whoever needs home improvements.

Abstract: Randy Tudor apparently does not want to provide estimates or win jobs. I reached out to Mr. Tudor on September 23rd to come to my house in order to assess damage and, we hoped, provide an estimate. He had great reviews, and so I figured he would be a reputable contractor and do a great job. On October 5th, he sent this message: "Hi, Mr. [Owner], I apologize for not getting back with you sooner. I have had tech. problems with my computer for the last week or so with receiving and sending emails. Not to mention the weather has really thrown my schedule off. If you are still interested in me giving you an estimate please give me a call and I will schedule to do so right away. Thanks Randy Thanks, Tudor Home Improvements, LLC" He scheduled an appointment for October 6th, which he missed. He came by a few days later when my wife was home and went through our office. Fast forward to October 14th, and I hadn't heard anything from him. I called him, and he let me know that he needed the information my insurance company provided in order to complete our estimate. Fast forward to October 30th, and I still hadn't received an estimate. I called him, and he gave an excuse about an illness. Fast forward to today, November 10th, and still no estimate. It appears that he's had time to provide next day service to another user during this time frame, so I guess calling Mr. Tudor is a complete crapshoot. I would not recommend wasting your time.

I contacted Mr Tudor to come to my home to give me some estimates for work I need done. On Monday when he arrived I had other workman there to lay down floor tiles. The worker pointed out some issues with the floor, Mr Tudor noticed some other major issues with the floor and told me he could fix everything the next day. I stopped the workman. True to his word, the next day, everything was repaired in an very professional and expedient manner. All the workman conducted themselves in a very professional manner. We are very pleased with the repairs. Thanks to Mr Tudor I was saved considerable future expenses and inconvenience. I look forward to working with him in the future.
