A pleasure to work with. Upfront about all work to be done and the cost which was reasonable. Very professional. Did all they said they would do and in the time-line they stated.

We had used Prestige Floors to refinish original heart pine floors in our den, hall and foyer 15+ years ago and were very pleased. We still got 2 other estimates before hiring Mr. Kimberly of Prestige Floors. Mr. Kimberly's knowledge and professionalism and competitive price were deciding factors. He was the only one who checked for moisture in subflooring to make sure that the subflooring (above crawl space) was dry enough to install wood floors. We removed the furniture from 4 rooms and my husband removed the carpet and kitchen flooring in preparation for the new floors. Mr. Kimberly came by a couple of extra times to inspect and answer questions. He worked around our schedule when we were in town, even though he would have worked while we were away if we had wanted. We just prefer to be around when having work done. He and his crew were here when they said they would be. They were all very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer questions and give explanations when asked. The floors look great and the color matches very well with the almost 30 year old original floors. The main difference is the difference in the amount of heart in the woods and the number of knots, not the fault of Prestige Floors. We purchased the floors independently...Mr. Kimberly just installed and finished what we purchased. We are very satisfied customers who highly recommend Prestige Floors.

The thing to understand about this company, which they will be frank in telling you, is they ONLY do floors. We have lived in our house for about 4 yrs. The hardwood floors are about 12 yrs old but they are worn and had a rather poor pulyurethane job done to them. Prestige gave a fair estimate, however they do nothing but strip, stain, and finish the floors. When asked about all the furniture, I was told I'd have to take care of moving all that out and back in or I could hire a moving company. I asked if there was a regular company they recommend or use. They indicated yes. Well, how much do they typically run? Prestige would offer me no insight on this. They also indicated that they don't take up or do anything to the baseboard molding on the floor. Since they have to refinish right up to molding, they would likely mess it up, so I'd have to either replace or repaint it all myself. Bottom line, if you're planning to refinish the floor of a house your living in, go with another company unless you want to do a whole lot of work yourself.

We did not choose to use Prestige Floors for one reason the cost was way too high and our insurance company would not approve the job for them, I have seen their work and they are very good and I cannot say I would never use them, if something came up in the future I would call for an estimate and see how it goes from there

We could have not been more pleased with the care given to our floors. Ron and his crew take great pride in their work. We felt like they were very concerned with our satisfaction with their work and the gave great advice on maintaining the floors in the years that follow the refinishing. I interviewed over four other contractors prior to selecting Prestige Floors. Ron was not the cheapest but he was not the most expensive either (estimates ranged from $3900 to $5000). However, we got honest work, great product, and friendly prompt service that we were looking for. Saving 5 or 10 percent on the floors would have meant nothing if weren't happy with floors that we will enjoy for years too come. NOTE: I am writing this review one year after the work and we're still completely satisfied. Some of the other contractors that quote the job said that 3 coats of urethane would be required yet Ron with Prestige said 2 only coats were needed. Ron said they would apply an additional third coat if requested. My research agreed with Ron's recommendation (when using quality urethane) and I have confidence in Ron's training and experience.

The project went seamlessly from start to finish. A two man team came and they were exceptionally courteous and clean while working. I had new tile in my foyer and was concerned about the heavy equipment they would need to bring in. When I mentioned this to the foreman, he said, "don't worry, we never roll our machine in, we lift it up so it never touch anything except the surface we will be working on." Impressive. They were on time, the job was completed on time, they didn't waste time. These are the ONLY people we will call for this type work in the future! You will not be disappointed, true expert craftsmanship.

He came back and inspected it. He had to work with my time schedule and people coming. He came out the day that I called him and gave me an estimate. He did the work when he said he would, and he did it well. I had confidence that he was doing it in a professional manner. I didn't compare his prices with other places as I didn't have the time for it. He doesn't do carpeting and does just floors. That was one reason I picked him.
