I asked Mr. Casey for a written bid, it took a few days, he sent me an e-mail of the bid but I did appreciate the cost, so I agreed to the bid. Mr. Casey, I found to be very unprofessional, he even mentioned if I would cook the fish he would bring. Mr. Casey talks a good game, sounds sincere and I think he even believes what he says. Mr. Casey, lied to me on several occasions, said his crew would be at my home on a specific date at a specific time and would tell his crew to go to another home. On occasion Mr. Casey was unreachable by phone or text. He showed up to my home two times in the three weeks it took him to complete my two story 2000 square foot home. I guess he felt comfortable because he wouldn't knock on my door prior to entering, he would just walk in. Prior to his crew starting to work Mr. Casey wanted 50% of the cost upfront, which seemed fair but when he brought the paper copy of the bid I noticed the amount had changed. I gave him 50%, and I was concerned if I would ever see him again. He did come the following morning with his crew, one of the trucks left a nasty oil spill on the street, I also realized that he was operating his trucks that had gone out of registration. I saw no more than four people of his crew at any given time and although Mr. Casey would apologize for any delays, he would also complain to me that he was losing money on my home. Prior to Mr. Casey, bidding on the home I gave him a complete walk through, obviously he didn't notice the sheen of paint I already had on the walls, and he complained to me that his painting crew had to put three coats of paint on the walls. Now, I have never been complained to before by anyone who came to my home to work on a project and I have had lots of projects done. But Mr. Casey as a person was extremely unprofessional, complaining and very undependable. His painting crew on the other hand did do very good work, they were polite, humble, and committed to doing a good job. I have often felt that Mr. Casey was abusing his workers because he would say they want to work, start at 6 am and work past 9 pm. I would advise anyone to hire the crew but not have any dealings with Mr. Casey. I did call his references and they told me he was unreliable but his crew did good work. I feel for his crew, he doesn't treat them well.

One would think my home belonged to the owner! Mr. Casey, of P&C Construction care for my home with personal attention to detail and completing the job with splendor. The first part of painting all the walls in the home took one day. In three more days the garage floor had a showroom finish and the main wood staircase was sanded, re-stained and varnished. All but the front door exteriors were painted. Mr. Casey made this 5 year old home look like a brand new house. He made suggested touchups and fixes for other items not mentioned with no additional charge. Cleanup crew came in afterward and made the place spotless.
