They have been pretty good. They contracted an electric company. They were very thorough and it was a nice pleasant experience. They were very nice and knowledgeable.

The door took nearly two months to arrive. When it was delivered to the house for installation it turned out that it had been manufactured incorrectly in that the color of the sidelights was wrong. In addition, during the installation, wood rot was discovered under the old door. The installer said he could fix it, but wasn't allowed to per Lowe's. I had to get another company to repair the damage and then get the installer back to finish the installation. Oh, and of course, Lowe's insisted I pay for the installation a second time even though the work had never been completed. I was able to negotiate the fee to half of the original cost, but I feel as though I was paying for the same job twice. When I discussed the problem with the color of the sidelights, Lowe's door manufacturer acknowledged their error and agreed to supply the paint and $150 to have the door painted. It's been two months and the door is still not painted. I've talked to the painter two or three times and he says he'll be here the next week but never shows. I've talked to Lowe's three times about this problem, most recently about a week ago, and still nothing has been done. So I ordered a door at the end of January and the installation is still not complete 5 1/2 months later.

It's clean but it's difficult to find staff to help us out. It takes a while to check out. It's always really hard to find somebody to help us out in the store. With regard to their check out, it's very frustrating to me when I walk-in and they have two queue registers open and people standing in line. We have to stand around. The management looks at everybody in line but nobody will open their register.

We worked with one gentleman in the lumber area, Chris. We purchased 6x6 supports, concrete, lumber, Trex decking and handrails, aluminum balusters, lights, lattice and framing for a 12X21 foot raised deck. Delivery was on time and as promised. Materials were placed near the work site; concrete was placed in the garage. There was one item mix-up, which was quickly corrected. Two things most impressed me: the ultra-helpful attitude of the construction department (despite the fact that we had our own builder) and the fact that Lowe's let us return several items that were left - Trex boards, 4 boxes of balusters, hinges - despite the fact that these were a special order. We are already planning another smaller project, and Lowe's will be the place I use. It was a totally positive experience.

All went well. I was advised on how to paint my cabinets, finding screws etc. they turned out great.

They were very professional and prompt. They did a really good job installing the door. They cleaned everything up. I never had a problem with them. They were thorough, and they explained to me how to use the door. It was a fair price, and the quality was good. They were responsive and they were punctual. As a matter of fact, I had to use them for another job.

Lowes messed up every single step of my flooring process. The contractor they hired (West Flooring) on the other hand, was fantastic. I scheduled to have my house measured for the laminate flooring and West came out on time and did a great job. A fee days later, I returned to Lowes to order and buy the flooring. Their computer system was down, which they didn't tell me until after I was there for over an hour(they later informed me that they had known about the computer issue since early that morning). So I left and came back the next day. I proceeded to order the amount of flooring Lowes told me I needed (35 boxes). Over two weeks later, the contractor (West) called me to tell me Lowes didn't order enough flooring and that I needed 56 more boxes!!!! The CONTRACTOR called me. NOT Lowes. I want back into Lowes, ordered 56 more boxes. A week later, I had to call Lowes to see where my flooring was and it turned out it had been delivered to Lowes and was just sitting there (they were supposed to call me when it arrived at the store to schedule delivery). At that time, I proceeded to schedule my delivery. When they delivered there flooring, they ONLY delivered 56 boxes. I had to call Lowes YET AGAIN to schedule to have the rest of my flooring delivered. Finally, after weeks of messing around with Lowes, West Flooring came back to install the flooring and they did a FANTASTIC job. It took them two days for 1600 sq ft of flooring and it looks flawless!

Everything went smoothly, so that's why I went back to them. Previous experience also went smoothly and the work was great. They worked on time and I really had no problems. The price seems reasonable. I haven't had any problems, so I haven't had them to respond; but they have called beforehand and after to make sure everything goes well.

The price was competitive and the installation looked professional. During the process, I was not always called back in as timely a manner as promised. However, they were generally responsive when I initiated the communication. The installer was flexible in scheduling the work and performed a minor toilet repair free of charge. Installation work looked very professional. Clean-up could have been better as they left one of the tubs and one of the sinks dirty. One bit of work related to the toilet re-installation was left uncompleted, however, the installer was prompt in correcting this after I called him about it.

It was frustrating to purchase a quality brand product from a national dealer and have it defective (twice). All in all it worked out because the manufacturer and the retailer stood behind their products. Mr. Moore was understanding as to our situation and worked diligently to correct the situation. No one is perfect and mistakes happen so it helped that Pella and Lowe's stood by their products.
