Hargrove Pools

Pool cleaner always did a good job, but we never knew when he was coming. For big jobs Phil Hargrove did a good job and was very pleasant to work with. Our big problem with them was that they would not respond when we needed them. We would email and call, but they would not get back to us. I'm very sorry that we had to discontinue their service because of this.

I have used them in the past for pool cleaning and maintenance and they were great... however, this time around I can't get them to return my calls. The calls to to an answering machine and no one ever responds.

I never got any response from Hargrove.

Quick, quality job

I requested an estimate to have a pool cover made for my inground pool in March 2010. His representative finnally showed up in Sep 2010 and gave me an estimate of $4000. Mr. Hargrove called in January and said the estimate was incorrect. They came out again and by then I had a leak in a pipe. Mr. Hargrove stated he would fix the pipe and install a pool cover for $2250. He requested a deposit of one half to special order the pool cover. As of January 2011 I have not been able to receive a return call or any communication indicating the status of the pool cover or when the leak would be fixed. I paid with a Chase credit card check $1125 and Chase is unable to locate Mr. Hargrove to obtain my money back. I have since had the pipe repaired by Masters Cleaning and they did an excellent job. Masters Cleaning said he knew Mr. Hargrove and did in fact call him from my house. Mr. Hargrove told him that he sent the pool cover back as he couldn't remember where I lived. As of this date I have not received my money back. I would not recommend Mr. Hargrove. I have contacted Chase three times and they still maintain, even though I have supplied Mr. Hargrove's address) that they are unable to locate him.

They are honest, they do a really good job and if you don't like it they will redo it until you're satisfied. After I paid them they promise to remove a couple of barely used diving boards from the pool and he did come back and put me a new one and didn't charge me for that. Overall I find them to be honest, reliable and dependable.
