HARDY PLUMBING

We had two plumbers from Hardy plumbing, Dustin and Bobby, replace a section of decayed gas line going from our yard into our house. They were punctual and called to let us know they were on their way. Both were very professional. The work was done professionally and they left the work area clean. We will use the services of Hardy Plumbing in the future.

I had a new garbage disposal installed about 2 months ago by Lowes. Was not too impressed with the installer and two nights ago, water poured from it into the floor. Called the Lowes install line and was told they would put a rush on it. I still haven't heard back from them or the installer. I had a good experience with Hardy about a month ago when they installed a new water heater about 3 hours after I called on a Saturday when the old one started leaking. I called them this morning and the repairman was here in less than three hours - but at the front end of the window I was given by the office. Very professional, was a simple job (for him) and only a service call was charged. I was glad to pay it to get our kitchen back. I am through with Plumbers other than Hardy!

The plumbers from Hardy were punctual and thorough. The day the work was done, it rained all day. We thought that the workers wouldn't be able to do the work on the designated date due to the rain; however, they worked for approx. 4 hours IN THE RAIN removing the old water heater and installing the new, tankless water heater. My husband and I were very impressed with the tenacity shown by the workers. They did not stop until the installation was complete. We were thoroughly satisfied when the work was finished. A few weeks later, my husband looked under the sun deck and saw water. He assumed it was a leak from the water pipes so he called Hardy and they sent a plumber to check. It turned out that the water was from a recent rain, and not any leakage from the work that had been done. The plumber gave us a bill for $40.00 for the visit which my husband felt was inappropriate, His reasoning was that we should not have been charged a fee since it was reasonable that the water could have come from the pipes since we had just had work completed by Hardy only a few weeks prior. We went to the office and spoke to the owner, who remembered us. He was very professional and agreed with my husband. He immediately removed the charge and apologized. I would not hesitate to use the services of Hardy Plumbing in the future.

After waking up to a 'screaming' water heater, I realized I had a potential issue. After reporting the issue with my home warranty company, American Home Shield (AHS), they forwarded the service request to Hardy Plumbing. Within 30 minutes of the service request, Hardy Plumbing had called to schedule an appointment. They said they were available to come out right away but I had to ask them to come back later in the day because I had already went to work. The appointment was scheduled for a time range starting 12 noon to perhaps 2 pm and the service man showed up at 12 noon sharp. He came into my house, looked at my water heater and confirmed that it was in fact 'dead.' After making a phone call to AHS and his boss, the service man returned to my door saying they could have a crew back in a couple hours to replace the water heater. Again, the servicemen arrived right on time and was able to replace my water heater within an hour. I was very impressed with the timeliness of this request and would highly recommend Hardy Plumbing to anybody!

I had a broken pipe on my property that was noticed at approximately 1 am by a passing neighbor. The water was lifting up the ground near the meter box on my property and spewing water everywhere. My next door neighbor shut the valve off that supplied water to my house and helped me dig a hole to determine the problem. The PVC pipe was broken. I called and left a message with Harding Plumbing at about 1:30 am hoping that they would call me back first thing in the morning. I could have pressed the number for emergency service and I would have if my water had not been shut off. Harding Plumbing was at my house about 7am. They were kind and went right to work to repair the problem. The men were professional, quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work done . I have had Harding Plumbing come to my house several times in the past and they have always been very professional and kind. When the plumbers have been in my house in the past they wore shoe covers which I greatly appreciated. The plumbers always clean up their mess and ask if you are satisfied.

I don't have anything negative with the experience and we were happy. They even removed the old hot water heater in the attic.

Tony showed up 30 minutes early for the appointment and immediately got to work. He was friendly and professional, even explaining to my curious young son what some of his tools were for. I needed two small parts which Tony had on hand. He finished the work in an hour.

Charged $85 for a service call to tell us that another crew would need to come out the next day to fix this kind of leak. Charged $350 for 10 minutes of leak detection service. This determined that the interior floor did not need to be jackhammered :-) and that the work could be done from the outside. Charged $240 for 4-1/2 man-hours of work ($53/hr.). Charged $75 to jackhammer from the outside to get to the leak. Parts were only $40. I think that the $85 should have been credited to the actual repair and that the leak detection charge is excessive.

The technician diagnosed the leak under the concrete slab flooring. They offered two repair options: break through the concrete floor or reroute the pipe by cutting through the drywall. I chose rerouting the pipe by cutting through the drywall. The initial estimate was $1, 250 but the final cost was $881. This company was very efficient and timely, as well as very prompt for their appointments.

after talking with my builder it was determined that I could just replace my trim kit and use the existing valves.

I had a great experience with them. They were courteous, patient, and very assuring of their work. They even stated energy and water savings I will get using the tankless water heater. Even our HVAC guy was impressed at how the machine was placed up in the attic.

I woke up to a busted water heater that was leaking everywhere on my garage floor. I called Hardy Plumbing around 8:00 AM and they had someone out here at 8:30 AM ready to replace the water heater. While one of their techs drained the remaining water from the old water heater, the other tech picked up the new water heater from the warehouse. Less than 2 hours later, I had hot water in my house again.

They were friendly and efficient, and they got the job done quickly and kept the cost as low as possible. Our only issue with them was over payment. My husband asked if he could write a post-dated check since we wouldn't have the money until the next pay check. The person he spoke to in the office said yes. When they received the check (post-dated as we had discussed), they cashed it immediately. Our bank returned the check because the date was incorrect, and we incurred return check fees from both Hardy Plumbing and our bank. When we called to see if we could have the fee waived given the circumstances, we were told that they would "look into it" and call us back. We have still not received a call back about this, and now we are out the additional $50 in returned check fees on top of the fee they charged to do the work.

Called Hardy Plumbing because none of the drains in my home were draining and I had standing water in my downstairs bathroom. They were able to schedule an appointment later the same day. William arrived promptly as promised and got straight to work. After assessing the situation, he quickly began digging an access point since one did not exist allowing him access to unclog the drain. Within two hours he had successfully gained access, and unclogged the drain. Highly satisfied and would recommend.

Technician called ahead to confirm the appointment. He arrived on time, completed the change-out without issues. Cleaned up the work area and generally conducted himself very professionally. The bill was exactly as estimated.

As usual, the job coordinator at the office was very responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. The plumber came out promptly and performed a good quality repair.

They were awesome. Very professional on the phone- very punctual. Fixed me up and asked if there was anything else they could do for me before they left. Cleaned up after themselves and left no trash- will definitely use them again in the future.

I called my homeowners and they sent out this service who came out early the next morning and fixed everything that leaked. I had four leaks which where all taken care pretty quickly. The young man was very nice and knowledgable. I would use them again.

I moved into a house that is only 2 years old and after my home warranty ran out I had to pay for anything that goes wrong with my house. Well, the plumbing started to give me problems and that's when I look on Angies List to find a plumbing companing that wouldn't cost me alot of money. The plumber arrived at my home and after I told him want happen and about the company who did the plumbing house he got started with the job. He also, reassured me that Hardy Plumbing didn't want to charge me anymore then they would have to to get the job done right. Unfortunately my problems with plumbing were alot bigger then I or the plumber thought. So, I ask him to complete part of the work and he will come back later this week to work on the rest of the job. So, far I'm pleased with thier honesty and professionalism. And their prices were the cheapest around and I will gladly recommend them to anyone.

Kids discover water spot on the ceiling of their bathroom. I went to attic and discovered the hot water heater was leaking. Hardy was recommended to us by contractor in my church. I called and explain the issue. They came the next morning on time and proceeded to replace the water heater. They completed the job promptly, cleaned up, and took the old water heater. They did great job

WHAT A REFRESHING AND FAITH RENEWING EXPERIENCE THIS WAS. THE YOUNG TECHNICIAN WAS VERY PLEASANT AND SO PROFESSIONAL. FTER I EXPLAINED OUR PROBLEM HE WENT RIGHT TO WORK. HE WAS FINISHED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. NO MESS, NO FUSS JUST GREAT WORK. FIVE STARS TO THE TECHNICIAN.

It went well. They did an excellent job. I was happy and pleased. They are very timely and I would give them an A.

All worked fine first year then pipes started rattling they couldn't find the cause. Probably poor workmanship. Sewer line collapsed they said it wasn't their fault, hot water has pump to supply house it takes forever to get hot water.Never to use or recommend again. Very unwilling to help or accept responsibility for poor workmanship. Should have gone with who I knew could do the work.

it went alright they had to find the source of why i wasnt getting any hot water the labor is the most expensive part of the whole job

Extremely pleased with the overall experience. Both men in the crew were polite and professional. The did their work quickly and efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly when completed. The only reason I gave them a B on punctuality is that they arrived earlier than they said!
