I cannot believe the deal I got. They removed a whole lot of trees for a price much lesser than other quotes. The owner is a stand-up dude and his workers were presentable and efficient. One of the FEW positive experiences I've had with home improvement/maintenance people. A+ business.

I used them twice this fall and they could deal with trees that were difficult to access because they had the equipment. They were able to take down two trees that other companies couldn?t do; they literally had to reach across my house to get them. The crew was great and Mr. Gray, the owner, was always present before they got started. I definitely recommend putting this company on your list for getting estimates. I?ve seen them on my street twice since they were out here. They did what they said they were going to do, they came when they said they would, and they didn?t question the price; the estimate was firm. The gentleman who does the estimates has been doing it for quite some time and he was very professional; he made sure he came on the day of the work as well. He doesn?t do the work but he understands how to price out jobs. He was helpful when it came to deciding what to do. I will probably have them back because there is still more work to do. They had a bad grade on Angie?s List so I confronted him and he said he would makes sure they?d get all A?s with me.

I highly recommend EBEN GRAY?S TREE SERVICE, (EGTS), for their value and professionalism. The team which came to my house was efficient; with the owner working just as hard as the other workers. For the short amount of time they were at my house, everyone was busy doing something at all times. I heard from a couple workers that the owner is a pleasure to work for, and it shows in their work ethic professionalism, and courtesy. The backyard fence was moved and replaced exactly how it was found. There was no damage anywhere on the property, which is amazing considering in inordinate amount of flowers my wife has planted around the yard. A log was strategically placed to keep our fire pit safe from the backyard oak about to be brought down. The heavy equipment operators were careful in their maneuvers. The Bobcat used rubber tracks rather than metal tracks, saving wear and tear on the lawn. The large trees had a very narrow landing area, (in my opinion), but were laid down with great precision. It was really something to watch. EGTS?s price is very reasonable, with no surprises or hidden costs. The only down side is the consideration of time. If a tree must come down that day, then another great tree service like Big Dog may be better suited. However, if there is no urgency and you can wait a few weeks, then the money saved is well worth the wait. EGTS has a very busy schedule. An additional savings of a couple hundred dollars was realized in not needing to have a ten foot gate installed to bring heavy equipment into the backyard to have the tree removed. Other considerations: EGTS is an equal opportunity employer which hires hardworking Americans. EGTS workers were aware of their surroundings and were safe with on-lookers as well as themselves and other workers on site. Traffic was controlled when needed. Eben came and gave me a very fair estimate and that was the price I paid at the end of the job. He and his crew worked non-stop for 2 days. He explained everything to me in detail that would happen. His crew was friendly and very informative when answering questions. They cleaned up the yard after the work and blew off my roof when finished. Eben was available by phone when I had questions. He beat all other estimates and in fact one tree service told me some of my trees were in such a difficult location to cut down that they preferred not to do the work. Eben is 's a true expert in his job. I could not have been more pleased. I had been looking for 3 years for the right company and Eben was it.

Contracted for service. We had to initiate followup contact. He never responded, so we canceled the contract, because we were tired of waiting. On the day we canceled, he showed that afternoon with all of his equipment without notifying us he was coming. Needless to say, he did not cut our tree.

Another company gave an estimate and wanted to bring in a 60 ton crane to lift one of the trees over the top of our garage. ETS did not feel this was necessary and did a great job removing the trees and cleaning the surrounding area of debris. Our next door neighbor compained that they damaged a branch on her flowering tree which is on our property line and they were gracious enough to send an arborist out to look at the tree and paid for it. They were on time and finish the work including grinding the stumps quickly and efficiently.

Arrived on time and cut all trees within 45 minutes. Stump Grinder became lodged in matting under pine straw and it took awhile to dislodge. When I checked the work a week later, the crew had taken the pine straw and covered up some of the stumps that were not removed. Approx. 3 stumps were not removed and the roots remained showing on a few stumps I called the owner and he genuinely stated that he was sorry. He had his crew out at my house the next day and the remaining issues were corrected. Had the owner not taken some prompt corrective action, I would have been extremely dissatisfied. However, I don't think he actually inspected the work of his crew when it was complete. When he found out, he immediately corrected the problem. I would use them again on price alone but I would observe the work much closer next time.
