Joel came out for the estimate was very polite and took the time to answer any questions or concerns. They were very fast and efficient. One pine was a double trunk between the houses. They removed it without any damage even to a cement bird bath and young dogwood within a couple feet. You really could not tell they or the trees had ever been there. Great cleanup and attention to detail. They were finished just over 2 hours.

Joel came out and assessed the trees that needed to be removed. He gave us an estimate for the work and the company stuck to it (no surprises at billing!). The crew arrived at the scheduled day and time. Their foreman went over the scope of work to be completed and ensured that they knew where all utilities and hazards were located . The crew were all connected by radio to ensure they worked efficiently. A crane was used to prevent damage to the yard and house (these trees were less than 10 feet from the house and at least 24 inches in diameter). The stumps were ground and all debris was removed. When they finished the job, you would never know they had been there. I highly recommend Eben Gray Tree Service. They provided service above and beyond our expectations. I would give them an A+ rating if it was available.

These folks were fast, professional, and top quality. Other than the missing trees, you couldn't tell they had been there. They took 2 hours to remove 5 trees, a 30 foot pine, 2 60 foot pines, an 85 foot pine, and a 30 foot oak that was surrounded on three sides by my deck with less than a foot of clearance. It was amazing to watch this crane pick up an entire tree and swing it over the top of my two story house and place it into the street. The stumps were ground to below grade and there were no limbs left behind in my yard or in the street. They used our neighbor's driveway to park the crane (with permission and extra care) and there were no problems what so ever. It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

From the first call to the last service vehicle leaving our property, we had nothing but a good experience with this company. They came when they said they would, delivered the great service they said they would and their price was a great value for the job they did. They listened to all our concerns and answered all questions we had. They had the equipment, men and experience that made us feel confident in the job being completed well done and safely. They came highly recommended to us by a friend and we have no reservations recommending them to others.

They had a large job in my neighborhood so the appraiser called to ask if they could stop by on the way out to complete my job (earlier than originally quoted). They showed up with a large crew (from the other job site) and got right to work. They were very careful not to damage any other landscaping. While grinding they were extra careful not to tear up my irrigation system. They were all very polite and professional. With the large crew here they were done within 30 minutes.

Eben Gray was the guy who actually cut down my trees. There were three big Southern Red Oaks and one Sweet Gum. The Sweet Gum was removed all at once. The three Oaks were removed in thirds. His equipment (which included a very large crane) lifted them up and out of my yard without damaging any of my other trees. He and the rest of his crew ground up the stumps and removed a big portion of the grindings. They removed all of the branches and leaves that came down - raking everything up. Eben Gray and his crew were very, very professional, very friendly and very polite. I would definitely hire them for any future work. It was fascinating to watch them work. I was able to get lots of videos of the whole process. Really neat!

We really liked the young man...My husband had watched their crew work at several neighbor's...They were hardworking, safe, considerate and cleaned up after themselves...Every one we talked to had been pleased with their work. We needed the tree cut next to a brick wall and near the house soon and Mr. Gray's crew was backed up with work. Otherwise, they would have gotten our job.

I was impressed the minute Joel showed up to scope out my job and provide an estimate. Price was very reasonable for the amount of work I needed. Unfortunately, the winter storm came the day they were scheduled to work. As a result, the amount of work I needed doubled. Needless to say, the tree service business exploded with the amount of clean-up resulting from the storm. I had to take a backseat while they worked higher priority jobs. I completely understood and Joel kept me informed and at no point did I feel ignored. They finally were able to do my job a couple of weeks ago as promised. These guys are great. They totally know what they are doing, are professional, polite, and quickly finished removing all the trees, stumps, and debris.

Okay, when previous reviewers stated that these guys are "slick as snot", they are not kidding. It is worth staying home just to watch these guys in action. They called me right back when I wanted an estimate and came out the same day. I scheduled the removal to be done after the holidays and the first snow storm here delayed things for a few days but they came out to our house in the morning, brought a HUGE crane and several small vehicles and got to work. They laid plywood all over the yard so that there were NO tire marks from any vehicles on our lawn, hoisted a guy up the tree and took them both down like a well oiled machine, lowering each section gently to the ground to be immediately picked up and taken away by the guys standing by. It was amazing. They were finished with EVERYTHING in under two hours. They cleaned up the entire yard (even swept the driveway of pine needles) and you cannot even tell that we had anything done. Beautiful. Not a single mark on the lawn. I would never hire anybody else. We had several huge trees removed from our yard by an excellent tree company when we lived in another state recently and the price quoted by Eben Gray was right in line with those prices. As type this, I am watching our neighbor's yard; they have hired a supposedly cheaper "tree specialist" company to take out a large pine tree from their front yard that was damaged in the ice storm last week. These guys have been working for over 2 hours now on one tree. They have a guy in a bucket (no safety glasses on) who is cutting down the tree limb by limb and then piece by piece while 2 dudes on the ground are pulling each branch and section down with ropes. (every branch and trunk section goes CRASH! onto the lawn below) They are scaring me and it looks like they have so far crushed several bushes in the yard and hopefully will not crush the house......or a person. I'd rather pay a few dollars more for a company with the right equipment and workers who know what they are doing.

It went extremely well. The crew completed the task in 1.5 hours which included cutting and removal of the trees, grinding the stumps and picking up limbs, pine cones, etc. that had fallen during the process. The yard was restored to it's "pre-tree removal" look. In addition, we had initially asked for an estimate that would include trimming additional trees. He gave an estimate but encouraged us to use another company for the tree trimming as the total cost would be less. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They were awesome!!! Very professional! Wish I had it on video! A pleasure to watch. I had elec lines in the way, trees close to the house. They were great and I am hard to please. All stumps gone.

I requested a price on a dead tree removal. They removed the dead tree from my property. The process was over in about four days. The cleanup after the tree removal was wonderful. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody.

The estimating process was quick & easy although we had to wait 6 weeks for the work to be performed. The crew was on time, polite and professional. They worked efficiently and had all of the trees and limbs removed from our property on the same day. The crew did break a small part of our fence, which they notified me of. They also gouged the stucco on the side of the garage, which they did not notify me of. I called the supervisor to report the damage and he was out at the house the same day to take a look at it. He had a contractor to the house and had it fixed satisfactorily within 4 days. Things happen so it wasn't a huge deal since it was repaired promptly and well.

We were very pleased. They cleaned up everything after they finished.

The work was handled professionally and safely, using well qualified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment. The owner of the company was present during the work. The only difficulty was that we had received massive amounts of rain in the days prior to the work, and removing the trees required the use of heavy equipment. Unfortunately, the weight of the equipment left some big ruts in my grass, which was unavoidable. If I had it to do over, I would wait until the ground dried out before allowing heavy equipment on the grass. Nevertheless, the grass will recover.

The men fros EGTS arrived right on time and set up their equipment. They set up the crane in our neighbors yard between two power lines. They extended the crane to 108'. The climber attached the crane to the trees with large straps, then cut the trees at their base. The crane lifted the whole tree, hoisted it up between the power lines and lay it down in the open area in front of our home. Two men with chain saws cut the tree up and another man used a BobCat loader to move the tree pieces to a debris pile. This procedure went on for each tree. All eight trees were removed and cleaned up completely in one hour and twenty five minutes. This company is the MOST organized and professional I've ever seen. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any tree removal.

Ebon Gray Tree Service is the best tree service I've ever used. The equipment they use in removing the trees makes the job go so much faster and when they are done with grinding the stumps, the entire yard is raked and cleaned. I had six trees removed and a total of 14 stumps ground and the whole job was completed in 6 hours. A real bargain compared to what others estimated the cost to be. I really enjoyed talking to Ebon and watch him do his work cutting the trees while attached to the crane. It is truly amazing to see how quickly and how safely he and his team does the job. I'm very thankful I gave them a call and I no doubt think there is another residence in my neighborhood who wishes they had done the same. Instead they used someone else. I do not know who they used as I was only a witness to the aftermath but still three weeks after they started, there are still large logs laying on the ground and 3 foot high stumps in their front and side yard and noone in sight to finish the job. If you want to avoid the headache and hassle these folks are going through just give Ebon a call and they will take care of your trees and you will be a happy customer.

EGTS was very responsive from the estimate phase to actual removal of the tree. They showed up as promised, worked very efficiently, and had the tree removed and the area cleaned up with debris removed in the space of 2 1/2 hours. We are very pleased with EGTS and would give a "high five" recommendation to anyone who has similar work to be done.

I was pleased with the prompt and courteous response to my request for service. Joel called me back set up a appointment that accommodated my schedule. We met at the job site and he provided a thorough consultation and estimated cost for the work discussed. I ended up using them to trim some large limbs and remove a couple of trees. They did the work as scheduled and as promised, with excellent clean up. I will definitely use Eben Gray's again in the future.
