I was impressed with Joe, he seemed to know what he was doing. I was so impressed with him that I gave his information to some others. I was to call him when pool was clear which I did. He was to come back, two weeks later I called him again. He finally called, left message, saying he would be there no later than the following week. Never heard from him again! I've called periodically since that time and he has yet to return another call. This behavior was listed on a previous review but he explained that he had heart surgery and was unable to return calls, I thought well, that's a good reason not to return call, so I gave him the benefit of doubt. I even left him a message saying and quot;just let me know you are aliveand quot; and received no response, so I guess hes passed on! Couldn't find an ob on him!

They did not call me back after asking to leave my number and I waited a whole week!

I highly recommend Blue Wave Pool Service. Joe Crouch is not only knowledgable but he is also honest and an ethical individual. After buying my new home in Augusta, I first contacted another and quot;reputableand quot; pool service/repair company (also in Angie's list) that was servicing the pool for the previous owners and they charged me $80.00 just to change a battery in the remote control and to tell me that I needed a new computer system for $4000.00 because the motherboard was faulty. The case is that nothing was wrong with the system. I was lucky to find Blue Wave.

The initial phone conversation was great and I was to be contacted to set an appointment for a new liner as soon as the rainy weather cleared. I never heard from them again. I tried emailing and did not get a response, so I contacted someone else. I will attempt to contact again in the Spring as i still need a new liner and want a second quote.

Joe came when he said he would and fixed several problems with our pump and Polaris. No one else we had talked to could offer a solution for stuck weirgates. He 'shaved' them. Very clever. They work now. He has more to do for us and we are waiting for him to return.

My wife and I are trying to sell our home. After a home and pool inspection, we learned that it was suggested that we would be best served by filling in our pool. Considering our options, my wife opened her subscription to Angies List and began her search for a pool repair company that could provide required repairs without and quot;filling it inand quot; or spending $25,000. At the top of the list she found Blue Wave Pool And Spa who had the most reviews with positive feedback. We made the call and set up the meeting. Joe went out of his way to accommodate our schedule. We showed Joe the list of items that were identified by the pool inspector. Hine-sight being 20/20, I probably would have asked Joe to perform his own inspection first and THEN compare notes. Joe conducted his own inspection and provided an assessment that made sense. Joe developed a price quote based on a comprehensive scope of work that would restore our pool to a water-tight and working condition with a workmanship and materials warranty. After signing the contract, there was a minor delay because Joe was under the weather. If Joe had called us, he would have received straight and quot;A'sand quot; Within a couple of days, Joe got to work and within a week, we were up and running. Note that there are progress payments in his contracts that are reasonable. If you are hands on or not, I highly recommend calling Joe. His industry knowledge and professional back ground is well worth the time investment. Additionally, his prices are reasonable.

Very reliable, always on time, always fixes the problem. He is absolutely wonderful. His price is a little bit higher, but the quality of his work is better and he stands by his work. We recommend him to all of our friends.

I had tried 2 other companies, who gave me time lines, but never kept them. I was so frustrated to need work done, have money to pay, and couldn't get these big pool companies to my house to look at my pool. After waiting 6 weeks, and having promise after promise broken, I found Blue wave online. Joe, the owner, came out and gave me a quote, measured my pool, ordered my liner, and 2 weeks later my kids are swimming and I couldn't be happier. Do you need pool work done? Then call this company. They are very experienced, do great work, and actually show up when they say they will.
