He and Crystal did other work for me and did a fairly good job at a reasonable price which I didn't have a problem with. However, when he came to the last yard-work job, he didn't finish the job and just didn't return the next day as planned....just simply disappeared.. wouldn't return my phone calls......yet cashed my check quickly. I trusted him and he left me down. He and Crystal seem to be very nice folks; however they smoke and wreak of cigarette smoke all the time, bring that order into your home. So if you are extremely allergic like me, keep this in mind when hiring them. Adam is very young and inexperienced about some things, slow to listen and comprehend what his customer is expecting. Forges ahead instead of stopping and asking questions to maybe do a better job. I would have to repeat myself many times which I shouldn't have to do....not for the prices he expects for his services. He thinks that it all has to be his way and then will show his frustration if he doesn't get to do things his way. Do you think that the homeowner should be a go-fer for hired people such as fetching their lunch and drinks...I'm talking about a 16-mile round trip to town...? I think in time, he and Crystal will become a good team; however, they need to learn to respect their elders, like me, who do have a lot of experience in construction and property management and could teach them some things. Afterall, I'm the one paying the tab..... I would have liked to hire them for other jobs; but because of the way Adam acted, I can no longer trust him.
Description of Work: weed eat, mow and clean off low underbrush with a weedeater, chip up twigs, remove pine saplings from a 1.22 acre property...about 1/2 day's work. 2 men and Crystal were the only crew.
