+ -1 moreI called Ellijay H and A after reading their good reviews. I scheduled a routine check of our system and called a week in advance so we would be sure to have this service done while we were in Ga. They said they would call Monday morning before coming out. It wasn't until 9:30 that we finally got a call canceling our appointment. They said that they had so many emergency calls that they could not schedule any routine visits till Thursday. We should have already been scheduled and if some of the people who had emergencies had gotten routine checkups maybe they wouldn't t be out of heat now. We had to leave Thursday which is exactly why I had called in advance. I feel that this company is unreliable and we won't call them again. Even if we had rescheduled, how could we be sure they wouldn't cancel again?

Description of Work: We had our AC and Furnace replaced. The gentlemen from Ellijay Heating and Air were absolutely FABULOUS. We had 4 different estimates done and Ellijay Heating and Air by far were the most professional, thorough, and their price couldn't be beat. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and plan to use them for all of my future heating and AC needs and service.

Description of Work: Keith provided excellent service on a hard to diagnose problem with our heating and air, not only one time, but twice!!! Highly recommend. Very lucky to have found him, considering he usually does more commercial work.

+ -1 moreCame out twice on Saturdays once to determine the problem and once to make the repair, worked with us to come on Saturday even though it is not a normal business day for him. Very professional, super nice, gave excellent advice about maintaining the unit and his price was very fair.

+ -1 moreAir conditioner was not cooling. My husband called and they came out that same day (when other companies wanted us to wait 5-7 days). The service person was very thorough. He inspected the whole system inside and out. Made appropriate repairs and left contact information if we needed him for questions or any other problems.
