The Hauling Men

They were great. They gave us extra time with no charge.

They were wonderful. Anything that I wanted to add to the truck that I haven't even thought, they were open to on-the-spot changes and didn't charge me a dime more or anything. It worked out great. If they did charge me more, it was so minor that I don't remember it and they deserved it.

The wife and I did a clean out of our storage shed and the Hauling Men basically took away all the junk we could cultivate out of it. They were extremely responsive, very courteous and took everything without question. If I ever need another "haul off" I will definitely be calling them.

Every thing was removed when they say

It basically went well, however by me not really knowing the quantity (measurements) of junk that was specifically advertised to haul, I was just a little disappointed in the amount that was removed. They did however work professionally.

They came when we asked them to, they were very prompt - they did everything they were requested to do. We would definitely use them again. They were great. They didn’t charge anything more than the Big Deal price .

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. They came, took it away and everything was done exactly as I expected. The price was excellent.

I did not use the service because it was not what i thought it was. Mr. Wright, the rep from the company, however, was very pleasant and forthcoming with information when I was trying to clarify what service I had purchased.

Everything went well and they showed up on time. The technicians were courteous and professional. They came and got the job done quickly.

They arrived on time,but the owner forgot I had paid through Angie's list and expected payment that day. The owner failed to tell me it would be an additional fee to haul paint. I was informed of the additional fee after the painted was on truck. The haulers also put items on truck I did not want hauled away

Did not return calls/e-mails to set up pickup time/date

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very nice. They pulled up, drove in, picked the junk and took it away. It was very simple. They were complete and pleasant. They were nice about doing it on my time frame. The price was reasonable. They called me first, and told me they were on their way, and so that was very nice.

These guys were on time and fast. They got to work and picked everythingroall the spots I had my stuff piled. I had a lot of extra over the 5 cubic yards, so they charged me extra at what I thought was a fair price.

I was under the impression that stuff that could be recycled or reused were taken to Goodwill or some other charity. Our stuff was literally thrown into the back of a truck causing anything that might be reused to break. Which leads me to believe that it all went to the dump. Other than that, it was super easy!

We called them to set up the date. First they cleaned out my old house and hauled everything I needed away. They removed our big TV that we needed to get rid of. They actually stayed longer than they were supposed to and we still got a really great deal out of it. They were great to work with. If ever need to them again I would definitely use them.

The service was okay. They were really polite and I ended up paying them to do some extra. Usually I've found Angie's List deal are really explicit in terms of what they cover, they were much restrictive when they got here that I would have thought given what was written on the deal. Typically that deal would only cover things that were basically sitting out for them and only certain number of things that seem less than the deal. I was desperate to get stuff gone so went ahead and paid them to take the rest in addition. They were really responsive. It was quick to get in touch with them, quick scheduling and they showed up when they said they were gonna be here. I felt it ended up being misleading but what I ended up paying was probably what I would expect to pay for the service without having had any deal on it.

They were unable to come when initially booked but did reschedule before the agreed arrival time. They arrived at second appointment and began to work. As I showed the gentleman the amount of stuff to be hauled he stated the amount would be more. I had researched hauling companies and anticipated that this might happen. I was not as displeased with the increased amount as I was with the damage to my hardwood floors. The "boss"/overseer kept telling the guys to be careful with the metal desks as they were using "donkey kicks" to dismantle one of the desks. There were large marks in the floor of the office in which they worked. My biggest regret was that they dragged the metal desks from the office to the stairs without any padding of any sort. Not even a blanket was placed under the desks and they therefore left big scratches in the hallway by the stairs. They acted as if there were a time limited on the appointment and the faster they got it done the bigger the prize. They did work hard but I found it rather appalling that they did not use one protective thing under the items with which they were working.

THey called ahead after having to call back a second time to schedule pickup. They collected more than the 5 cubic feet allowed removing multiple grills and various odd sundry junk . They were very polite and quick but I would have liked it if they had swept up the area as had been indicated in other reviews that Angies"s list has posted.

It was fabulous. I got my money's worth. There were more than one of them so they accomplished this in quite short order. I was able to get everything that I did not want taken away. They did it in a very professional and timely manner. They were very courteous. For the $79, it's a very good deal. They need to come back, as a matter of fact.

The crew consisted of one "in charge" guy and two helpers. They did all the lifting and hauling, not just the heavy stuff. I went through the house and yard, pointed out stuff I wanted removed, and they did it. They were fast, thorough, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Punctual and professional. Carried and disposed of various pieces of old, large outdoor pieces (standing patio umbrella, rusted grill, miscellaneous) that we had long needed to get rid of. Would definitely use again.

He came as he promised and did the job real quick without bothering us.

It started to rain but since the job was scheduled the men continued to work very hard until everything was out of my storage building. They did a good job.

The company was very responsive in calling and setting up a timely appointment. They gave me a window of 10 - 2pm. On they scheduled day they called several times 1) to ask where we were located as gps was not working 2) to ask how much stuff we had because their truck was full (how am I supposed to know the exact amount??..) I paid for 5 cubic yards... 3) to say they were going to be here at 2 and 4) to say they would be late. We waited all morning and they finally arrived around 2:45 but at least they called. We were still annoyed though. Our pile consisted of old junk, rolls of carpet, lawn mower and some small bricks from some left over construction. We were told when they got here that they could not take the bricks or it would cost more. Now, on the coupon it says in large print that they will take construction debri... (yet after looking I did see that at the very bottom of the page in small print it says no bricks). However; If you are going to advertise that you will take construction debri you should say no bricks CLEARLY stated after that comment. I realize I should always read fine print but the entire thing was irritating and I do not feel we got our monies worth after having to wait around all day.

Made a call to schedule a pick-up. They called about 4 hours early and said they were on their way. I explained that I wasn't at the house and would need to reschedule. They were able to come that afternoon. When they got there their truck had a nail in the tire and by the time they were able to get it repaired it was dark. I called a week or so later and reschulded again. Came at the scheduled time. The deal was for 6 cubic yards. As they had a big trailer I'm not sure if I got all 6 yards or not and they only wanted to take the lighter items, nothing heavy. For the money it was worth it and i would use them again.
