It was a painless experience. I would recommend them.

It cost much more than the deal, but I did have a ton of trash from a basement clean out.

The guys were professional, quick and friendly. They went above and beyond the scope of work by helping me remove a jammed and stuck doorknob to get acces to some materials. I would definitely recommend them or use them again.

Everything went great, expect they did leave a small mess in the drive way. Would have been A+ if they did a quick sweep up.

I would use Andre' again. I probably rated him unfairly on price because I usually get 2-3 estimates before getting work done and had no point of reference, but for the sake of time went ahead and used him because he was very professional, on time (he arrived before I did), and came prepared to do the job. They did a good job. I was refer him and use him again myself.

I would not recommend this company to anyone!

They were here and gone in 20 minutes. This is the second time that I used them and will definitely call them again. Very professional and so kind and sincere.

The service provider was acceptable, not a real professional outfit, but they showed up, returned my calls. They had a pretty big upcharge when they came to pick up the trash.

It was great and they did a good job. They completed the job and the task given to them. Also, the quality was great.

They were on time. They cleaned and took up extra stuff for an extra fee.

The men that came were very nice. The items I needed taken away were heavy so I didn't gather it all into one pile, but the guys were happy to go all over the yard and pick and remove it. The one negative I would bring up is the fact that it wasn't easy to get an appointment. I had to call a couple of times and get a call back to set up an appointment. I think the person that sets up appointments is also on the road so he can't always check his schedule.

Were in a time crunch due to moving, I had to clean out my garage and throw away a lot of junk that had piled up over the years. In such a short time span to get this done I was able to reach the provider and was assured that they would be able to get this done for me. Sure enough first thing Monday morning even due to the inclement weather (heavy rain) I received a call saying they was on the way and they arrived in a timely manner and completed the job. Thank You again!

Two men from The Hauling Men came to my home and observed the materials but refused to do the job at the $79.00 rate as advertised. They informed me that they would require over $300.00 to do the removal. I stated that I could not afford this price and they started to leave. I asked them to refund the money that I had prepaid for their services and they said that they would contact Angie's List for the refund. To date, my money has not been refunded.

I purchased one of the big deals for this company for $89 but that only covered 1/4 truck of junk and I knew I had more than that. When I purchased the deal, I saw that this company had Saturday hours but when I tried to do the online scheduling, it would only allow me to pick a weekday so I ended up just having them contact me. Andre called within 24 hours and confirmed that they do have Sat appts so we set up a day for them to come. They called 30/45 mins ahead of time, just like they said they would and arrived right on time. I talked with Andre about the fact that I knew I had more stuff than was covered in the deal, both in quantity and the fact that i had some paint cans, etc. which weren't covered in the deal. We agreed that they would take everything and then come up with the balance that I would owe him. The two gentlemen who were with Andre, whose names I don't remember (my apologies), were super nice, efficient, and they took everything from the garage (including old paint, furniture, boxes, and just plain trash), junk from the tack room, old BBQ grills and a picnic table from the yard, and 2 chairs and an ottoman from the house--and they did it all super fast--everything was on the truck in less than an hour and at the end of that time, the truck was full and they had to put some stuff in their van as well. Andre charged me a balance of $215 for the extra amount of junk and the paint which I thought was fair and I was very pleased with their service. While I hope I never accumulate that amount of junk again, if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again.

I bought the deal for my sister as a gift and all their intention was to sell her more. They didn't even bring an appropriate sized truck. Before they even got in the house, they were talking about how she would have to spend more than the money that I have spent already. They were rude when they figured out she wasn't going to it. It was just a terrible experience.

They were very good. They were prompt and efficiant. They were easy to work with. They even honored my Big Deal after it expired.

They couldn't do it. Too big of a job.

They gave me a telephone notice 40 minutes before arrival on the scheduled date, were very courteous and professional.

It went okay once they got here. They were originally supposed to be here on Saturday, 3/1/14 but they never showed. I had other things that afternoon to do so took off after the window of time they were supposed to be here and called them Monday. The dispatcher told me they tried to call me but I have no record in my phone of them trying to reach me at all that day. I rescheduled for Saturday, 3/8/14. All phone contacts worked perfectly, including my call that day to be sure they were coming. My understanding was that they would haul off anything from anywhere. All of my items were in the basement, which was down a slight hill in the back of the house. They charged me additional money because of this. Oh well, I was just glad to be rid of the old junk. They loaded everything on an extremely overloaded truck and stuffed the rest in an enclosed carrier. I purchased this as a special on Angie's List. If I had read that there were limitations to where they would take the junk from, I would have been more aware and tried to get it moved to the garage or driveway. In any event, the guy was pleasant and told me they could take my old paint cans anytime. I hadn't arranged that before hand and wasn't ready to pay extra for that service. I may use them again but because of the initial missed appointment, will have some reservations.

This company was very responsive and came on Saturday morning to pick up the items. The coupon was for 1/4 of a truck, and I think that my stuff was a little over 1/4. They did not charge me extra - which was a nice surprise. The other big name company was too fussy about their estimation of what was 1/4 of a truck. I will definitely recommend THE HAULING MEN to others.

Their rating stood out to me so I used them. They were amazing, so sweet.
