I had a very positive experience with them and they were recommended by another bidder. It's a very large firm in Georgia and they have offices at different places. Mike was the guy who we worked with and he was outstanding. The countertops were around 35 feet and the cost was a lot less than we expected. Mike works for Star Granite, but he is a representative in our area. They have a warehouse which is on the Northside of Greenville. So, we went to the warehouse and walked around for an hour looking at the stuff that we wanted. They picked up 2 slabs and brought them back to the manufacturing unit in Georgia. They then came out on one day to install it for us. We were very pleased with them. We had been to other places as well and this store was probably the easiest to get into as well as to get around to look at stuff. They didn't have a bunch of stuff piled up against each other. They had around 8 or 10, but they were all of the same pattern. So, you could walk through and see what they had. The warehouse was well equipped and they didn't have any problems with people walking around there. They were very helpful. They helped us to visualize as to how it would look and how they would cut it. It was a local storage location until they got the chance to get the granite down to the facility in Georgia. They measure everything carefully and they have a highly accurate representation of what they need to make. They then go out to make it and then bring it back to install it. We had some real challenges with the kitchen installation. One of the challenges was with the back end of the kitchen cabinet. We have a stove that is in a peninsula like the cooktop and the peninsula is rounded on one end. It's on a weird angle through another point. At the back there is a full radius which is about 3 inches. So, we wanted the full radius out and we tried everything to get that out. These guys came in to take all the measurements and came back to install it. It wasn't a big deal for them. Nobody could match them in terms of their price, as they only charge you for the granite that you use.
