The best most professional team of people you will ever meet. Totally happy with our purchase. From William the salesman to Mac the project manager, transparency was the message. The crew arrived on time but the material was delayed resulting in one lost day of five promised to completion. Day two was great. Day three had a hiccup. Wrong color for corner post delivered. Crew had to remove completed work and shifted to the soffit. Derek hustled to correct the problem and assured us completion on Friday. Day four!!! Six crew members on site! Wallace and his team are a siding machine. Everyone worked together and worked to complete the job by the end of the day. One day early. Super clean up. Nothing left behind. Very very friendly people. Price was higher than pinnacle or champion but we definitely got what we paid for. No regrets. Superior company.

It was going well until the installation and when completed the solar lights I have on the house did not work and they had wires hanging over the gutter and I was told that is how it is supposed to be, but that's a lie because it was not like that when they started! I was calling almost everyday for someone to come out and fix what needed to be repaired and I would leave messages and never receive a prompt phone call. The quality inspector never showed up after the completion of the work but several associates showed up later and took pictures of the damage caused by the installers and said they would be back out to fix the damages and till this day no one has fixed the damages. Hardy Plank boards cracked and chipped, gutter in parts of the house is not flush to the house, wires hanging over the gutters and several other issues. I call often and rarely get a reply. When will these issues be fixed?

Power was a great experience! From pre-sales, through installation, to post-installation: always professional, on time, and they did what they said they’d do. Yes, they cost more than the average roofer. But they do the job right the first time, the never ghost you, and they make sure that you're satisfied.

The installers did excellent work and the windows are a vast improvement over the builder’s grade garbage windows we had. The front of our house is much more comfortable in warmer weather. They are not the cheapest, but the quality is top notch w/ a lifetime transferable warranty. If you want quality, American made windows that will last, I highly recommend them.

Talked to them about siding for my home--they set up an appt to tell me all about it, etc. ---we chose the siding, etc and within a few days they notified me of the date they would start (which was a little less than a month away -October 18). Did not hear anything else until a couple of days before they were supposed to start, I get a call that the group (or whatever) they deal with for waste management cannot deliver the dumpster to my location. I was told that they are working on getting it straightened out and will try to go a different route, and as soon as they get it arranged they will set up a new date to start. Don't hear anything and after about a week, I call. Told by (supposdedly) one of the VP's that was working on it that they were still trying to get everything arranged. Another week - no call or anything, so I call again. Same story from same person. About 5 days later, I call again because I haven't heard ANYTHING. I did not call last week, so I called today. Now I'm told that they can't do it at all because the group they use to do the siding does not even come to Jackson! Not just that they can't get a dumpster here, but they can't do it at all! No one ever bothered to call or email me at any time!

Terrible experience. Things appeared to work well until the actual installation. FIRST installation appointment was scheduled 9/24/2021 morning, and I got a call around noon that the appointment has to be canceled due to a crew member having a positive COVID-19 result. Which is fine. The appointment was rescheduled 9/27/2021 afternoon, and no one showed up. I called the local office and a gentleman told me that the crew had a flat tire. (I should have smelled the rat...) Again, the appointment was rescheduled today 10/12/2021 morning. And again, no one showed up. I called the office and was told that the crew will come between 2-4pm. Then I made another call at around 3:30 pm and was told that the crew will indeed be here before 4pm. AGAIN (what a surprise) no one showed up. Called again by 5pm and no one answers... Fortunately I have not paid anything yet, just 3 wasted days at home without working. Will look for other remodeling companies.

Terrible. First the sales person is super pushy. Should have known from the soliciting they were a scam. Well we got scammed into replacing 2 windows we needed replacing. Second, they rescheduled dates multiple times. Then DAY OF install they called saying the windows they bought were not the right size. We let them know when we would be available in the future and they did not give us another date. Then TODAY 9/13/21 They called out of the blue saying the contractors were on their way. Absolutely poor communication and honestly completely unacceptable. After the install we noticed they just placed the window ON TOP of the existing window frame. They did not caulk the vinyl frame either. They caulked the vinyl to the glass but not to the wood to seal it. On top of all of that the vinyl is bend in several places. For the second window in the bedroom they did not inform us that the windowsill would not be as long which now makes that window not match the rest of the house. We will have to have someone else replace that window now. They also just set that new window into the existing frame. Yes they just put it on top. Didn't clean it off and all which I find disgusting. For the amount of money we paid their service and work has been completely unacceptable.

The Windows went very quickly! In fact, so quick, that my alarm was sent off inadvertently. I had forgot to remove the sensors! And the attic insulation was so neat.
Description of Work: I needed the Windows, Gutters and Attic insulated and Power was able to do it all. The initial Salesman, Mac, came fully prepared with the details of how and why having these services done now, would make the differences later and practically, speaking, pay for itself, with the security and savings from their products, services and warranties. I absolutely loved it! I actually felt special as the workers left the house after hours of putting in the Windows! They were professional and took the time to explain the product and asked if I was satisfied. Of course I said, YES! I would recommend this Company again and again.

Refused to even give me a quote. I need new windows. The rep came to home and was very nice and professional. He spent 45 minutes going over the company, past reviews, and inspecting my windows. Only when he was finished did he ask that my wife be present. I informed him that she is a teacher and not available at all during the week. I took off time to meet with him so we can get this job taken care of. He insisted that she be home before he gives any quote. Again, I said that is just not possible and she is not concerned at all with any style / color choices. (We already had that conversation and she really doesn't care). The rep then said he cannot give a quote without her being present. I said if that is truly the case, then why didn't he say that upfront? Or better yet, the person on the phone when I initially called to set the appointment could have said that. We have a 3500 sq ft home w/ about 45 windows. This is going to be approximately a $25,000 job and he won't even give me a quote?!? I said thank you for wasting both of ours time. For all I know, he is part of a criminal ring and does this to case people's homes. If I get broken into in the next 6 months, we will know why.

It was installed in September 2019. We still had leaks after the installation. They had not sealed around the chimney properly and they did not install kickouts in the gutters. Called in January after very heavy rain with high winds. The stucco on our chimney had cracked and water poured into those cracks because there were no kickouts. Repeated phone calls to the warranty department but no action was taken. Called repeatedly in January and February. Finally, after repeated calls in March someone comes out in the rain. He said he would get back to me. Never did. Called again. Another man came out. He did not even get up on the roof. Told him about the repairs I had made to chimney and also had to have someone install kickouts. I had him come inside to look at the ceiling. He told me to mark the water marks and see if they would spread. I had to call again and tell them it was still leaking. Finally, a vice-president calls me. He told me they would pay for the kick outs. It took until late September to receive the check for the kidckouts. They still have not addressed the water marks on the ceiling. Very disappointed.

So to start with the sales people are kinda pushy. I felt like if I didn’t sign right then, then I would get the best deal they could offer. We needed windows kinda bad so we purchased them. Next we ended up having gaps in 2 windows. You can see day light on the sides of each window. Gap is wider then a credit card thickness. I called and set up an appointment to have them fixed. The first available was 3 months out due to coronavirus they said. But the guy assured me he would have someone out faster then that. He said that’s just what his computer said. They never showed up earlier then the appointed date 3 months out. The actual appointment day came and the repair guy calls me hours before he is supposed to be here and says he’s sick and he’s not coming. So I explained to him that the house is sold and I need to get this fixed he said his first available day was sept. 23rd 2020 that’s a month and half after the day he was supposed to be there. I told him that’s not going to work because we won’t even be in the house then. He told me his name. ( which I forget now) and said I promise I will be there next week to fix it I SWEAR. Lol what a joke. Here it is 2 weeks later and he never showed or called. At this exact monument I’m on hold with them to get this fixed and they have left me on hold for 35 min. Smdh. I will not use this company again ever. Poor customer service. And I own a customer service related business.

Work was done well and it will probably last the 50 years they advertise. Only one area of roof trim is not flush. Worked around existing gutter guards. However, clean up was not great. They squashed plants in front bed after they asked and I told them to not harm the front flower beds. Moved patio furniture around and didn't put it back when done. Still had old shingle pieces on patio. They bent a gutter baffling. Didn't put gutter down spout extender back. So care for property is so so.

Before I share my experience with this company, let me first say that the representative they sent out could not have been more professional, personable and knowledgeable. I hesitate to go further as, given the sales strategies used by this company, I am sure any reaction and or response will be targeted at the representative rather than their detestable high pressure sales culture. As expected, the representative went through the house measuring windows, but also pointed out damaged areas in need of attention whether we chose to go with them or not. During this review he demonstrated exceptional knowledge of construction, common window problems and replacement. However, that is where the love fest ended and the horror show began. We were drug through a two hour presentation beginning with a one sided overview of the company, describing them as the type of company whose employees walk old women across the street, save cats from trees and are generally upstanding citizens free of germs and bugs. A sample of the product was reviewed and while I would say it appeared to be of high quality, its construction is similar to what their competition is using. I was impressed with a demonstration of how the Argon gas windows reduce heat infusion, but frankly would have interest in conducting my own experiment. Given the carnival presentation I couldn’t help but wonder if slight of hand or product was used. Following the review we progressed into what I describe as the most despicable, the high pressure sales strategies of the typical used car salesman. Let me insert here that I have learned over the years to regret purchases on a whim. Rather, I take the approach that I need a cooling off period to digest both the presentation and the estimate. However, this snake oil sales company doesn’t do business that way. They press for a sale at the time of visit while they believe you are vulnerable to their overhyped product and presentation. To justify their approach they highlighted the excessive costs associated with an old UPS delivery method where, in requiring signatures, forced the company to make multiple attempts to deliver a package when residents weren’t home on the initial delivery attempt. While I completely understand the costs of rework, in a day of electronic signatures, email and competition who uses that method to sign contracts, their argument is invalid, arcane and completely outdated. The discount, only good while the representative was at the house changed at least four times, getting better on each revision, ultimately yielding about a 30% discount. However, you had to sign while he was at the house. Once he walked out the door the initial, un-discounted price is your only option. Lets get to the real reason behind this technique; it is to shut out competition, exploit emotions and sell a higher cost product that isn’t materially better than their competition. This, to me, is a compete turn off and RED FLAG on everything mentioned, the people, the product and the quality. When I encounter this type of sales technique all other input doesn’t matter. You have lost me as a potential customer. I would not walk, but run as fast as you can from this company to avoid becoming a victim.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Power. Our goal is to provide long term value to our customer for their investment in a premium product and service, not necessarily to offer the cheapest options available. Having performed over one million installations in our time, we’ve noticed that homeowners are more pleased with their decision to invest more to receive a premium product and installation, and our 96% customer satisfaction rating speaks to that. As our pricing model stands, we are able to offer steep discounts on agreements signed on our first visit. It is simply more cost effective for us to come to an agreement on price if our customers are ready to move forward rather than making multiple visits. We are then able to pass those cost savings directly onto the customer for their trust in our products and team. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to Customer Care Department at customercare@powerhrg.com or 888-736-6335, option 4 at the prompt. We’ll make sure to do everything we can to satisfy your expectations and deliver the type of service you expect and deserve.

I am very pleased with the quality of the materials and the work that was done. Power is more expensive than your average run of the mill contractor, but the quality that you get out of it is definitely worth the extra you pay and the transferable lifetime warranty is a great value add if you ever decide to sell your house. That being said, I will not be using Power again, nor will I be likely to recommend them to anyone due to their ridiculous high pressure sales practices. For anyone considering using Power, let me go ahead and prepare you for what to expect with your initial inspection/estimate. The salesman we had come over spent literally 5 hours at our house before he left. He was here from 7:00 PM until close to midnight. We literally cooked and ate dinner while he was here talking to us about the entire history of the company and teaching us, step-by-step, how a roof is built. Fortunately, my wife and I are fairly patient people and learning about all of the components that go into a roof was interesting, but 5 hours was a little overkill and we just weren't prepared for it. Maybe if we had known what to expect beforehand, it wouldn't have been so bad. The first quote we were given was outrageously expensive. They wanted close to $45,000 to replace our 3,000 sq ft roof and gutters. I told the guy there was no way we could afford that and then he said that he could offer us a special deal of $33,000 but we had to decide right then and there if we wanted to do it. We couldn't have the night, or even 24-hours, to think about it. I again told him that it was simply too much and then he knocked the price down to $28,000 if we agreed to do a review for them, but again, we had to say "Yes" right then and there. The reason they require a "Yes" immediately, according to them, is because of efficiency. They compared themselves to UPS drivers who used to waste time trying to deliver packages over and over again to the same houses. They said that by us saying "Yes" right away, it saves them the hassle of having to send someone back out to the house to sign papers. I'm sorry, but in this day and age when there are plenty of ways to digitally sign papers, that excuse doesn't fly. This is just high pressure sales 101. That's all it is and I'm someone that does not appreciate being put in those scenarios. It is ridiculous to expect any average person to make a $30,000 financial decision in a matter of minutes. There's no reason why they shouldn't give people 24-48 hours to look over their finances, maybe get a 2nd opinion, etc. Of course, you do have the ability to do that, but you lose the "better" pricing if you do and have to pay the super premium price. Despite the fact that I am happy with the quality of the work, I will not be using them again because of this. Unless, of course, they change their policy. Additionally, the company said that when they were done we wouldn't even know they were there, but I definitely knew because I had to move my patio furniture off of my lawn and back onto the patio, along with my grill and smoker. They damaged an outdoor thermometer, luckily it was just a cheap one, so I'm not too bent out of shape over it. I also had to pick up nails that were left in my yard and pick up pieces of trash and plastic left behind and they damaged some of our lilies in our flower bed that we had just planted this year, which I specifically mentioned to the project manager to make sure they took care not to damage the flowers. It wasn't a complete disaster, but it definitely didn't live up to the promise that was made to me. Which, if I'm paying a premium price, I expect little promises like this to be kept. Again, I think they do fantastic work. They were on time. They finished on time. The quality of their work is great and I think there is good value despite the premium price tag, but the high pressure sales technique that we had to endure really just left a sour taste in my mouth. Hopefully the value of the warranty will really make itself known if/when we either sell the house or need to use it and then maybe that will wash the sour taste out.

Response from Power Home Remodeling
Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Power. Our goal is to provide long term value to our customer for their investment in a premium product and service, not necessarily to offer the cheapest options available. We acknowledge that our in-home estimates may last longer than homeowners might initially expect. It is never our intention to overstay our welcome in a customer's home. Setting expectations for the installation process is paramount for a seamless remodeling experience. Sometimes this takes longer than anticipated. Having performed over one million installations in our time, we’ve noticed that homeowners are more pleased with their decision to invest more to receive a premium product and installation, and our 96% customer satisfaction rating speaks to that. If you’d like to have a discussion about your experience and either pass along any further feedback or resolve any potential serviceable issues, please utilize your lifetime warranty by contacting our Warranty Service department at 888-736-6335, option 2 at the prompt.
