+ -1 moreThey are friendly. When they come here they are clean, always wear their little flippers so they don't track anything. Most of the time they will have different service guys, but over the years since we lived here I may have seen one three times and so it is not always the same guy that comes it is whoever is available, but majority of seemed very well knowledgeable. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I used Peachtree Service Experts about a week ago for hearing and air conditioning service and maintenance. I went ahead and purchased annual maintenance that covered a tune up, service agreement, which will cover the fall maintenance service and also you get 10% off of anything.

+ -1 moreI have used their services for years. They call before they come and let you know how many minutes they are away from you. I have not had any problems with them. They do a fine job and I am very pleased with their services.
Description of Work: They most recently serviced my air conditioning unit for the maintenance plan that I have with them. I have purchased my furnace and air conditioning from them as well. Their special ultraviolet light filtration cleans the air to keep it from any bacteria. I find that I have less dust with their equipment and service. I have lots of allergies and their unit handles very nicely.

+ -1 moreI then asked if they could at least change the filters. They said they could not because I needed a new system and they left. It was a very bad experience with them. I made some calls to their phone center and I got frustrated. They sent a sales man out but the price was 25% higher than another bid I received. I started using someone else for the service.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for a heating and ac inspection. Two men came out and I could barely understand them. They looked at the system. They spent about twenty minutes and charged me full price without crediting the deal I purchased.

+ -1 moreThey found it was short on free on. I did not have them fill the free on because they were recommending a high price point. I was not comfortable with how they presented their different price points. It was hard to digest because I was not sure on the competitor's prices. Another person found a leak in the valve. I was surprised he did not address that first. I was not really impressed with that or happy with the customer service. I don’t trust them and I don’t like their price points. I think they were trying to over charge me for services that I did not need.

+ -1 moreI had been using Service Experts for several years until this call. Service person was a mess. Started the regular service call by trying to sell me new drain lines tied into my sewer lines. When I advised no thanks that the existing lines were fine he kept pushing. When he arrived the system was running fine. When he finished, the upstairs unit was having issues. As per the technician there was a definite $350 repair, and probably a repair up to $3,000 behind that. I found that to be a very interesting way to diagnose a problem and quote service. I said no thanks, and sent him on his way. I called the manager, and advised that we had been a customer for a long time, and explained the issues with the service call. He was not particularly concerned about that, or the professionalism of his service person. I will stick with a company that is willing to respond to an issue with service, and committed to coaching and correcting employee behavior. This isn't that kind of company. I am moving on. Successful service call was performed by Reliable Heating and air. The issue was no Puron. I wonder where that went? Pressure test said no leak. Refilled and the system has been good since the middle of April.
Description of Work: This was a regular spring service call.

+ -1 moreTech arrived and said furnace was out (true), could not do tuneups, but svc call would be $99. He quoted repair (circuit board) @ approx $500; & tried to up-sell me to a whole new furnace @$4500, which I declined. Tech promised to change the furnace filter since I had prepaid $124 for tuneup of both heat & A/C that he could not do. I found out later that he had left without even replacing furnace filter. Also, the service call was supposed to be $99 for a non-working system. They never called back, and they never refunded or credited the $25 I had overpaid ($124 -$99 = $25).
Description of Work: Supposed to tune up both furnace & A/C for $124.

In the end they took me down to show what their HEPA vac pulled out of my system, it was eye opening. Since, the service, the family has had no complaints of allergies or air related concerns. Good outfit.

+ -1 moreOn the Eve of New Years my furnace broke down and I had no heat in the entire house. After reseaerching a few repair companies on Angies List I decided to call Service Experts . . . BIG MISTAKE!!!! After suffering throug the night with no heat the Technician showed up to inspect the unit. I was 95% sure that my switch valve was bad and needed to be replace, and thats exactly what it was. After diagnosing the issue for about 10-15 minutes the tech went to his van to get "pricing" for the new switch. He came back in after a few minutes and proceeded to tell me that this switch somehow cost $661 to replace! Since it was New Years Eve he would have a hard time finding a supplier that day and would return the next day to get the part. After leaving I called Service Experts and cancelled the call, and then called a referred independent Mom and Pop company who not only found the part that day, but confirmed that the part itself was only $202!!! After the install and part I paid the new Tech $328 to have the switch replaced, and thankfully I researched the part online after the Service Expert guy left. I will never call this company again, and advise anyone considering them to stay away! From the very start of the conversation the techs will try to up sell you on a servicing plan. Dont waste your time with this company

Afterward, he reviewed what was done and verified the systems were running without issue. I absolutely would use these folks again. And thanks to Angie's list for listing the 50% off coupon to purchase. I've already recouped my investment!
