Description of Work: We use Peachtree Service Experts to maintain and service the HVAC unit at our rental property. They do a fine job but sometimes run late. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: The provider was supposed to have serviced our air conditioner this evening as part of our yearly contract. He never showed up even though we arranged our evening to be home during the time range he was supposed to come for the service. When I called the office to inquire as to where he was, they informed me that they had no record of this appointment. They offered to reschedule it for the end of July. Shouldn't air conditioning service be at the beginning of the summer??? Is this the way you treat your customers with contracts for this service???This has occurred regularly with this company. They have one of the most incompetently run offices of any business I know of. We plan on cancelling our contract with them since they are not dependable.

Description of Work: Recently purchased a home in which the inspection indicated no problems. Once I moved into the home I started experiencing severe allergic reactions. Thought that the HVAC systems just needed tune ups and filter changes. Turns out that one of the systems was full of mold! Service Experts showed me the problem and explained the options available. The system was in such bad condition that I opted to just change it out. Good thing I did! It was far worse than even Service Experts thought! The technician and the sales rep came over after the install to make sure I was happy and that everything was done properly. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Description of Work: Air duct cleaning. I had never had this done before, so I don't know what I should have expected with regard to dust afterward. We had additional wood floors installed, along with sanding and polyurethaning, and the dust afterward was horrible. The house is dusty anyway, so I guess it was better after the cleaning, and I saw how much came out of the ducts. The company staff was extremely professional and I was very happy with them.

Description of Work: I only paid the service fee for Service Experts to come out. I had no air upstairs and it was one of the hottest days of the year. They told me that my thermostat was out and offered to replace it for $350! A programable thermostat can be purchased at a Lowes or Home Depot for about $65 and then you can do it yourself! I explained that to the technician that I could do that myself, but how could we be sure that was the issue? and could he wait or comeback. He couldn't do either without another service call. I felt that the pricing quoted was grossly overpriced and that they had me over a barrel and that they expected I would pay because of the condition of my house and it being 103 degrees in the house. I declined the service and just paid the service call amount. Went to Home Depot got a thermostat and installed it myself within 20 minutes. The thermostat may have been bad, but it didn't correct the issue and I had to get another service company out there the next day. They found the issue....it was the regulator/throttle that the electric company had on the AC and it had gotten "stuck" on off position. a simple correction by the electric company and my house was cooling again. I don't use Service Experts and I don't respect any company that wants to take advantage of someone in a tough position.

Description of Work: In 2005 I hired this company to redo my old hvac system with new duct work, moving the hvac to another location, and adding 2 systems and 2 zones and new thermostats. They did a good job for around 8K. I continued with them for the next 6 years with their yearly maintenance agreement on this system. Over the years we realized that they sold us a system that was to small to cool our house and their maintenance program started to falter. The technicians that came out were mostly good however they were always trying to sell me something else--some new air filter, duct cleaning etc. The last time they serviced my home I had a very nasty person come to my house and when I did not want to buy anything else he started yelling at me. I called the company and my husband called the company to complain and no one ever called us back. No one cared whether we were happy or not. We had been with them for 6 years and their was no customer service. When they called me to ask me to renew my maintenance agreement I told them what happened and I was no longer going to use them and still no one called me back. Then just today 9/10/12 I received my renewal for my service agreement with them. I don't think they get it yet. I will never use them again.

Description of Work: Ty (the service rep) was fantastic!!! Great personality and very knowledgable. I have two units and he performed maintenance/tune-ups on all of them within an hour.

Description of Work: THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY TO OUR BROKEN A/C NEEDS. THEY INSTALLED A NEW UNIT WITHIN A MATTER OF 2-3 DAYS.
