These guys are great. They have been our go-to people for all kinds of A/C and Heating Service. They are a family owned business. They don't quit until the job is done right. Lane has taken care of us for many years and we think they are the best. Count on them.

They redid our system a couple of years ago. They are very good. I had them check everything and replaced a defective part. It didn't cost anything since it was under warranty. They are very good. They had better ideas than others. They are less expensive than others by a fair amount. We replaced two outside compressions and the lower unit in the basement which is the blower and everything else. We also replaced the lower in the upper. They redid our duct work so it should perform as a ductwork should. The air was going to the correct places but on return it was done and they corrected that. They did a great job. They made a lot of corrections which made a big difference. They are as good or better than anyone that I have had do that service. I am hard to get an "A" out of. They are very responsive. The thing about these kind of services is that certain times of the year, they are extremly busy. The time this happened, they weren't that busy so they were here very quickly so I can not say how it would be when they are very busy. What I used them for they did very very well. I have used them for service once. I used them to redo the whole thing. Then service again this last time. They replaced the defective part that was under warranty. I could not tell you if someone else would have told me that the part under warranty was not and charge me for it. I would say that they have integrity too so.I would say if someone is having heating and air issues having a contract on a home, they usually undersize or maximum they put. We have not a real large home but a fairly good size home. We have two systems. I would say many times those systems that are installed by a contractor are not that efficient. They came in and redesigned the system and in fact were able to incorporate our basement floor making the downstairs size large enough to do it rather than buy a third unit. They did that very well. Again, I have been in manufacturing managed large plants with lots of people. I know a little bit about this stuff. I know enough to make me dangerous. I would certainly and absolutely use them again. I would recommend them and I have recommended them to people. I would have to say that they perform well. Our entire heating and cooling systems works better than it ever did before.

Had a thermostat short out due to battery corrosion. Called Ward Plumbing (also on Angies List) whom I have used in the past and asked them if they did this kind of work. They didn't but suggested Lane Heating & Air Conditioning. I checked them out on Angies List and give them a call. They said they could do the work but wouldn't be able to come over until after lunch and would call me when they were en route. They did call and replaced the thermostat and all was well. It was a bit more expensive than I was expecting but I had not asked for a quote. Total Materials: $75.00 Total Labor: $10.00 Travel Charge: $85.00 Tax $4.50 Total $174.50 i would be happy to use them again.

Responded next day to request for estimate. Scheduled the installation, removed the old system (from a hard to get to attic space) and installed the new system and outside condenser in half a day with two workmen. Worked efficiently, cleaned up well, were courteous and very pleasant.

It went very well. We started using Lane for seasonal maintenance of our 2 systems after the previous company tried to sell us unncessary repairs. Lane's technicians arrive on time, do their job, do not try to sell more than you want, even gave us a tip where to get filters at a lower price.

Lane H/AC does business in a user friendly way. Mainly, unlike the big company that I had out here last week, Ronnie the service tech did NOT try to sell me all kinds of things I do not need. What a relief! The other big company told me I needed to spend over $4,000. for an entirely new system! Not true! Ronnie qickkly figured out the nature of the problem and fixed it for $165. He didn't say anything bad about the other company, but I now know that the other company lied to me. Lane Heating and Air was recommended to me by a friend of mine who told me they are honest, and now I have seen for myself that it is true. Based on my experience today I would unhesitatingly recommend Lane H/AC to all my friends.
