+ -1 moreI first met Mike and Checkmate Flooring in 2015 while restoring the hardwood floors of a house built in 1910. Some areas of the floor were not recoverable which required Mike’s team to replace flooring sections throughout the house. They masterfully “weaved” the new flooring in place and once sanded and refinished the new sections were indistinguishable from the original. I’ve since used Checkmate for at least five additional properties, those jobs included the installation of LVP, Hardwoods, carpeting, ceramic tile, and laminate. His team, many of whom have been with Mike for years, are prompt, professional, and skilled. I highly recommend Mike and Checkmate Flooring.

+ -1 moreThe guy who came out did some other hardwood flooring in our home several years ago and he did a great job. The floors are still in good shape so we called him back. He does a good job.
