Cedar Experts

Sadly, I have to add to Harry Gorman/Cedar Expert's bad reviews. He supposedly repaired a leak in a house I'd just moved into last December, and I've only had a chance to check it during a rain just last night. That's when I discovered that he hadn't replaced any of the damaged wood (it looks fine when dry), and the leak was still saturating the particle board. I can now push my finger through and feel the back of the roofing felt! Now, attempting to contact Mr. Gorman, I've discovered that he's blocked my number, even though I haven't tried to call him since he did originally did the work. (Verizon message, "The number you have dialed has calling restrictions...") I wonder if he's done that to all his clients? What kind of person, other than a knowing fraud, prospectively blocks his client's number? Assuming that Gorman is actually his real name... Mr. Gorman, if you'd like to dispute this characterization, please feel free to call me.

It pains me to write this review but feel it is necessary to warn others about Cedar Experts, Harry Gorman. I found Cedar Experts via Angie's list. Harry Gorman contacted me about a leaky roof situation; A vent came loose and water was dripping quite heavily into my Master Bedroom. He charged me $850 to caulk the vent and clean some debris from my gutters. On Dec 15th he came out and did the repairs. He came back the next day because the crew missed a couple gutters and they were full of leaves. The very next day the roof leaked in the same spot. I called /texted numerous times; he went on vacation and said his crew would address my roof. 23 days later (Jan 7th) he came back and caulked the vent again. On January 23rd the roof was leaking again and I texted Harry; he said he would be out. It is now March 5th and he has not returned any texts or calls. I paid another contractor to fix my roof. This is so unfortunate. Harry, if you are reading this, please refund my money. I have been more than patient.
