APPLIANCE MASTER INC

My 94 year old grandmother appears quite frail but she is able to live alone and didn't want me to come over to meet the repairman. He was nice to her and did the minor repair on her dryer for over $300 a then after putting the dryer back told her that her vent hose was full of cracks and holes and he would replace it for $28. Of course she believed him and he replaced it and left. We looked at the hose later and cannot find ANY holes or cracks in it. They cheated an old woman and we are sure they over charged her a great deal on the minor repair. When we called the company to let the manager know about the hose, I was told I was wrong and was told several times that I didn't "have a brain in (my) head". Incredibly rude!

I called Appliance Master, Inc. to set up the appointment and spoke with a woman named Eely. She was extremely rude! She was short & brisk with me & continuously cut me off mid-sentence throughout the entire conversation. She would not let me explain what the issue was or what make & model the stove was. She would cut me off and say "what day you want appointment?". I couldn't believe her behavior and was completely baffled as to why she wouldn't let me explain the issue or tell her what kind of stove I have. Earlier, another company told me they did not handle the type of issue I was having for the model of my stove. After several minutes of going round & round & her continued rudeness, I asked to speak to a manager & she hung up on me. I began calling other appliance stores from the Yellow Pages and Eely answered the phone for 3 other companies! (I am unsure as to why she was answering the phone for the 3 other companies I called.) During each phone call, she continued to be rude & hung up on me on my last call. I have since called Appliance Master, Inc. and spoken with another employee regarding Eely's behavior, the employee assured me that she would speak to the manager regarding this issue. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before!

I like this company because they have free service charges and estimates with repair but if you don't have them repair it, they do have a small fee. They were respectful of my home and finished the job quickly as they had the part on the truck. I also liked that they arrived the same day I called them. They have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service which is very convenient.
