Our methods include far more than standard pressure washing techniques, in fact, we hardly use any pressure! Pressure washing only removes mold, mildew, algae, fungus and lichens that adhere to surfaces, but the critical part of cleaning these surfaces is not the removal of biological compounds, it's killing them at their source and preventing their recurrence for a suspended period of time that exceeds just a few months. The truth is, most pressure washing companies damage your home when they use high pressure on your vinyl siding, brick, and soffits, and if that's not bad enough, the mold, algae, and fungus comes right back in 3 months! Protect your home from damage and choose a company that clearly defines their practices and procedures. Listed below are some things to watch for: - Pressure washing vinyl siding and soffits will undoubtedly force water into and behind your siding, creating colonies of mold, damaging your insulation and sheathing, and eventually leading to water damage and dry rot of structural beams. - Pressure washing brick may not sound harmful, but here is what you need to know. Brick is porous, and permeable, meaning that it can absorb water, and any mineral or chemical deposits in the water. Since bleach is essentially a high concentrate salt, and the industry standard for pressure washing, it's all too often that you see red brick covered in a white residue. In most cases this is caused by pushing bleach into the very porous brick with high pressure, and then through a process of efflorescence, the water evaporates and leaves a very ugly white crust all over the surface. - The last thing you want to do is make sure that the company you hire is using an appropriate amount of bleach to treat your home, while at the same time taking measures to mitigate the risk of killing any plants or bleaching flowers, and mitigating the risk of VOC impact. To give you an Idea, the average pressure washing company uses around 2.5 gallons of generic 5 % bleach to treat a 2500 sqft home, 2.5 gallons of generic 5 % bleach will not kill or prevent the recurrence of mold, mildew, and algae on a home that size. To compare, our company uses 12.5 gallons of 12% liquid chlorine on a 2,500 sqft home after diluting it down with 38 gallons of water and surfactant. This method yields much cleaner results, for a longer period of time, and is safe for plants and gardens.

Description of Work: The owner contacted me by phone. He told me that since my home is a stucco home, pressure washing might by problematic and that might affect the price for the job. I thought that overall approach was leading up to charging me more money to do the work. He had not inspected the home when he made these comments. I do not feel comfortable having them do the work. Description of Work: Pressure washed the house. I would have liked some additional services, but knew when I contracted with them, that anything else would have added other costs which I could not afford at this time. | |The house looks fine, but I would have liked them to rinse the windows with clean water when they were finished to remove the residue left from the washing fluid. The glass dried covered with cloudy streaks. It's a small one story house, so it wouldn't have taken long. | |We had some scheduling difficulties, but that was finally worked out. Everyone I spoke with was polite and friendly.
