Description of Work: They returned my calls promptly. Gave a reasonable estimate. showed up as scheduled all three days. Demolished and rebuilt my 5 step entrance stoop and 2 "winged" side walls with an identical replacement. (Which was important since I'm in an Historical registry neighborhood.) I was completely satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone with a similar job.

Description of Work: Small reconfigure done on walkway; paved small corner near garage for drain. |Berry was very responsive, when other providers wouldn't even call me back. He came out and gave me a quote when he said he would, and was able to start 2 days later and complete the work in a day. Pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: I called Berry on Friday afternoon about new sidewalks and under-deck concrete. He indicated he could probably come by on Saturday but he wasn't sure. He said he would call me back in a couple of hours and twice referenced my phone number on caller ID. So I hung around the house waiting for the call that never came. Never a good thing. I didn't care when he came - I understand people are busy and didn't expect next day service. What I do expect is communication, returned phone calls. I also understand things come up - it is now Tuesday evening and still haven't heard from him and don't expect to although I know he has the number. Clearly he is just not interested in the work. Too bad, he sounded like a nice guy. I'll find someone more professional.

Description of Work: "The Concrete Doctor replaced two curbs, one on a corner and one at a driveway along with some gutter work. They also replaced a complete gutter area at the end of a driveway in our subdivision. We also needed a new iron storm grate which the Concrete Doctor picked up and installed for us saving us from having to contact another contacter. |Resident's on the street have commented on the excellant work that was done and we would use them again should the need arise. Very professional. "

 + -1 moreI needed a new driveway to replace a 40-year old, cracked, discolored drive. Following a recommendation from a friend, I phoned Berry Bowens, owner of The Concrete Doctor. He had replaced their VERY steep driveway with many challenges along the way. We made an appointment for an estimate and Berry arrived on time and spent a great deal of time measuring, asking about any special requests (which I did have), and discussing all aspects of driveway replacement. His cost estimate was more than fair and I agreed on the spot. He was able to begin work very soon and he and his men arrived at the appointed time. His crew was very professional, courteous, and did an amazing job! Berry had suggested some (no extra cost) adjustments in order to direct water flow away from my downhill neighbor and to the storm drains. (As Berry said, "It's just the right way to do the job.") He kept me informed every step of the way (I learned alot about concrete work!) and proved himself to be a master of his craft. The men took every care of my mature landscape near the drive and any minor damage to plants will grow out this season. I could not be happier with the result and I believe the new driveway enhances both appearance and function of my property. The only delay was weather related and brief. Anyone replacing a driveway should know and be prepared to stay off the surface as your contractor directs. (I couldn't drive on the surface for 7 days after pouring and had already made arrangements to park elsewhere. It's worth the wait to do the right thing to preserve the surface.) Berry told me these things in advance. I almost wish I needed more concrete work done!
