I have been dealing with some sort of animal between my first and second story. I first called the 800 number and the person that answered sent my inquiry to the wrong person. then they scheduled the wrong person to come to the house as when he called he said "well that is not me". I was then connected with someone else who seemed to be helpful and 4 days later someone came to my house to inspect the problem--they could not find the issue but said they could not check the second story from the outside because they did not have a ladder. The person then said someone will connect with you tomorrow. Since I did not hear from anyone, I proactively called and an appointment was set for next Monday---- for a problem that was reported last week. This is unacceptable way to treat a customer who uses you for pest control and that spent $2k with you to NOT have critters get into my house. The lack of customer service is unacceptable. The call center person I spoke to just now claimed to have tried to escalate to a manager in the College Park location in GA and said no one answered. But that someone would probably get back to me tomorrow....what a disappointment. This will cost you the pest control business as I will cancel that shortly.

Not Good. He does good job outside but is trouble with inside. He does listen to the customer needs. All the bad grades are because they won't change my tech guy. A tech that more knowledgeable. .
Description of Work: I had one Terminix man that did a great. The other that has my route, did not do what I asked him to do. They will not change the route-man. It has been more then 3-4 times and still not doing what is asked. I will asked for someone else to and they will. They keep sending the him and he do not do a good job.

Every month they are costing $60. They are fine. I do not have to call them, they come every three months. They are really punctual, they came on time. They are professional, that is for sure.

I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating working with Terminix in general and this provider specifically has been. We have been a corporate customer of Terminix for several years and have paid annually for the service. My office manager left my company in early 2016 and I began to wonder over the summer about the exterminator. I had not seen them in months. As the year went on, I didn't notice any bills coming in (I began paying all the bills) so I didn't think much about them not showing up and, frankly, didn't care. That was until I got a bill for service on a date in December that my office was literally closed. As I researched back, I realized that we had paid for the entire year in November of 2015 and we have not seen a service person since the very beginning of 2016 and I'm not even sure they came then. When I called (you can only talk to someone in a central location), I was told of the dates we supposedly had service and was completely surprised. I can't verify that they didn't show up for ANY of the work orders but I KNOW they didn't show up for 4 of the 5 that I had paid for and the fifth that I am now being billed for. Again, this fifth one is for a day that my office was literally closed and locked. I have had to call the main number 3 or 4 times and they ensure that this Greg will call me to discuss the matter yet he elected to ignore that request and had the audacity to relay a message if I called back that he would credit the current bill but there would be no refund. I have since put in a request for the regional person to call me and, again, have had no response. This tells me this is a company-wide attitude and policy. I left a message with this office's billing person yesterday (after I received yet another past due notice in the mail for the day my office was closed) and, again, have had no response from her. This is certainly not worth my time and effort but now I am just angry that a company like this is allowed to get away with this kind of business practice. Thank goodness for Angie's List where customers can learn the truth. Just look back through the reviews and you will see a canned, automated response to those reviews so that right there tells you a little about how you would be treated as a customer. They don't show, they won't take your calls and you should RUN, not walk away from Terminix and this Terminix office. Whatever you do, DO NOT prepay for anything and verify that your bill is correct and that the person showed up. Apparently, their specialty is creating work orders then not performing them. I don't know if this was an honest mistake (how could I? They refuse to call you back!) or what but I know I prepaid for service I didn't receive and they refuse to refund my payment. These guys are not honest and not professional. Just Google "Exterminators in Marietta" (or your location) and about 50 other options show up.

Termites had eaten away at the baseboards and the wood around the window. They came out, did an inspection. They told me termites won't go above the 1st floor, which I thought was weird. The tech who did the work did not restore the window frame to what it had been. I wouldn't say they did the best job to make sure there are no more termites inside, but they did make sure no more would be coming in.
Description of Work: They did a severe termite treatment around the entire foundation.

No show, and did not call to reschedule. Under contract with this company, if that was not the case we would go with another company. Does not do what they say they will do.

They come every year and I get a certificate. So I'm good. They come, they check it from outside. There is no problem. I pay and they send me the certificate.

When I first bought this house I had Terminix and they would come every quarter and check the bait systems to see if you had any termites are whatever but I guess they don't do that anymore because I only saw them the one time when it was time for the contract renewal, because it's different I understand all company are trying to cut cost but if I did had termites so they would show up once a year and that ridiculous.

As far as I can tell, they are doing okay. We haven't really had much in the way of infestation inside the house. Where we are, there are a lot of insects in the Atlanta area, so I am suspecting that whatever they've done is...it is different before it was in central Illinois were each time they came to do the service quarterly, they come in and sprayed throughout the house and they don't do that here unless you ask them specifically to do that. Otherwise they just spray around the perimeter of the outside of the house. One time I did get a yellow jacket infestation in the front yard and they came out, at no charge and they responded on a very timely basis. I use them every quarter. They come in January so they'll be coming back in April probably for the next application. I know that last quarter I paid like $400 because it was inspection and termite bond for one year. The only issue I ever had with them is that they would show up and want to come into the house to do an inspection without calling ahead to tell me they were coming. They did it twice. I made it pretty plain to them that they should call and let me know in advance if somebody is coming instead of just showing up and expecting me to let them in the house to go through and do their inspection. They've always been very pleasant, respectful and nice. I am using them on a regular basis every 3 months. I've been using Terminix for the last year.

They could have come when they say they are going to. Their price could be lower and there were all kinds of slippery stuff in their contract. That was the thing I did not like. That slippery thing, move with it and it does not include that. Their price was comparable with a lot of other people. The last time they came out, they did find a little thing that was wrong and they got it taken care of quickly so it was good. They came. They looked nice and they cleaned up. Before I would use them again, I would do a little comparing. I would not automatically go to them. I would look at all my options before I go back to them.
Description of Work: We used Terminix in our other house. We used them for termite inspection before we sold the house.

Terminix sets appointments by sending automated emails to the customer with a 2 hour window for the appointment. If you do nothing, an inspector will show and do the work. This was a new home for me and I wanted to speak with the tech about his findings, the service, warranty, etc. as I'd had no contact with Terminix. This service was the result of contract purchased during a real estate transaction. Twenty minute before the scheduled appointment, I opened the front door and a technician was poking around the bait stations in my garden. No contact was made prior to arrival, upon arrival, or after completion of the work. When I opened the door, he vaguely acknowledged my presence and said he was looking at the bait stations. He did not introduce himself or tell me anything about what was happening. I called Terminix 3 times to speak with a representative about their operating procedures. The first representative acknowledged that the tech should have called before coming AND made an attempt to contact me upon arrival, but then she put me on hold and I was disconnected. The second representative was "stand-offish" and didn't want to listen to my concern. I asked her if it was normal for a technician to make contact with the customer during an appointment and she said "He can." When I asked for clarification, she wouldn't answer, so I abandoned and tried a third representative. The third representative was quite "mechanical" as well. She said the tech "can" make contact with the customer, but offered no input regarding my complaint. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold for 25+ minutes. The supervisor did listen to my customer service complaints, and I suggested that they not bill be for the contract renewal and we try this process again in 1 year to see if Terminix could perform better. She said she was unable to do this but would forward my comments to the local office. Locally, this company seems to excel at setting automated appointments and collecting money, but they refuse to offer any level of customer service and they treat their customers poorly.

First, I had them for both termites and bugs. However, they sent some poorly trained tech who didn't know what he was doing and sprayed so much liquid chemicals on my hardwood floors that it was puddling all over the floors. Luckily, I came home in time to take some thick rags and sop it all up before the floors were damaged. So I fired them on the bug side. Then on the termite control side, they came out and added new termite stations and never walked through the new locations with me so I could approve what they were doing. They also just left many old stations next to the new ones. I tried calling their toll free number because they (Terminix) refuses to give you the number of the local branch actually doing the work. After two calls getting national operators who either left me on hold for 20 minutes and never connected me to the local branch like they said they would, or waiting 15 minutes before I was just disconnected., I decided I had enough. They are not structured to give good personal customer service. It's all for their convenience in handling huge volume of customers. I'd suggest finding a smaller local company that can give you the service you deserve.

I was going to quit with them a couple of months ago, but they lowered their yearly maintenance price, sot that's what made to decide to stick with them. My husband says he seemed to know what he's looking for, but he didn't seem to have a lot of experience. I also notice that he has a special little light that he uses to detect for the termites and it was not in good working order. So, I guess that would be the unprofessional.

I've had it with them and their "collectors", I'm changing companies!!! This is no way to treat reliable customers who have paid their bills loyally for over 10 years...they are gone.
Description of Work: Bait stations....work was done as scheduled. What really bothers me is that on day 31, the collection calls start coming in. They are relentless and they call every two days, like clockwork. This "ballgame" is over.
