Moran and his partner Steven are a joy to work with...really! From the original quote, which was detailed and specific, through the handling of change orders, the financial side of dealing with Vered Renovations was quite straightforward. The work was performed promptly and with excellent quality and, most importantly, Moran and Steven were flexible and willing to adapt to my schedule.....and, within reason, to my whims! I always felt comfortable having them in my home, would highly recommend their services, and, most importantly, will use them again in the future.

Moran is extremely professional. The quote for the requested task was clear, and his price was fair. His attention to detail is evident in every part of the job completed, and the quality of his work is excellent. I highly recommend him for any renovation project and plan to hire him for other jobs in the future.

The installation is really nice. However, the lumber is unfinished so it needed to be painted.I also paid for the painting. The painting is horrible. It is really, really bad. He does not want to refund any of my money for the painting. He should have told me that the lumber was going to be unfinished. I don't know anything about lumber; he's a builder, he does.

Moran was very punctual in responding to my initial inquiry and then arriving for a walk-through of the jobs so he could provide a quote. He listened carefully, initially we were also looking to have some cabinets installed in one of our bathrooms and he talked through the various options he could do. As we had already bought all the lights we wanted put up, he looked at them all to make sure we had the correct types for what we wanted (recessed light above bath tub). When he arrived to carry out the work he came with a colleague and both were great. We live in an older house and our electrics are not the best, so initially there was a lot of discussion about the state of the wiring and what they felt comfortable doing. All the work was carried out over a few days in different weeks and we were OK with that. My husband was at home throughout the work and found Moran to be helpful and very friendly. We were very comfortable leaving him alone in the house while we were out. Moran also contacted another colleague to provide a quote for rewiring the house. We have not yet decided whether we will take this quote, but I highly recommend Moran Vered for any type of job required around the house. We will definitely ask him to come and fix some windows that we need replace.

They completed the work in the agreed time and everything looks great. In fact the work they did to patch the floor was much better than what we discussed when Moran gave us the initial quote. I had started doing some minor work in the master bedroom (to repair the hole of a TV mount), and they even fixed that for us, even though it was not in the scope of their work. Communication throughout the process was always great - he kept us updated on what was going on and quickly responded to our questions. Highly recommended, and will certainly work with him again.

I thought Moran was a very nice guy who did what he said he was going to do in a prompt and professional manner. There were some delays on the cabinet doors, but that was because they were trying to match the new ones to my existing ones. The crown molding helped to make my cabinets look really beautiful and of course I was happy to get a new cabinet for my 30" oven. I would definitely recommend Moran- he really knows his business and is pleasant to work with.

Everything went very well! Moran was very responsive, punctual, capable, and reasonably priced. We had a serious structural issue as a result of a poorly renovated bathroom in our rental house. Water had apparently been continually leaking through the shower tile and grout and was rotting the subfloor and floor joists. All the floor tile was loosening and the toilet had sunk about an inch into the floor. He came out to assess the problem on a Monday, provided the estimate on Tuesday (and was about 15% less than another highly recommended contractor/handyman service on Angie's List), was able to begin the work on Thursday (it was urgently needed), and finished up in about a week, which was the timetable we agreed to prior to starting. The finished product looked great, and our tenants are very happy.

I've worked with a lot of different people through the years with various things on my old home, but am now a fan of Moran Vered! From start to finish, the process went like clockwork. The schedule and budget were adhered to. What really impressed me was the fact Moran is extremely responsive and communicates clearly and effectively - there are no big surprise bills, nor are you waiting for days/weeks to hear back from him. He set expectations up front of the work and potential issues we might run into in my old house as we began a full gut renovation of my ancient bathroom. Communication with your contractor is so key to making the project a success - for both the homeowner and the contractor. Moran responded to email, text, and actually answered the phone when I called. Rare to see anyone in this industry that does this. It's rare to work with someone and enjoy working with them throughout the whole process of a renovation while a good bit of you house is in total chaos. I am fortunate as I now have someone I will gladly refer my friends to for renovation work. Things ran like clockwork from start to finish. I respect his professionalism and just being very easy to work with. Put it this way, I had not one concern about leaving him the key to the house for several weeks. There are so many people out there that provide vague quotes, or really and quot;optimistic priceand quot; quotes. Moran was realistic and detailed from the start on what the work would cost. The bathroom renovation went faster than I even thought it would go, and replacing half of my kitchen with new custom cabinets has allowed us to have a functional kitchen after years of a 1980's kitchen. Freshening up the exterior paint on the house has made such a huge difference. I trust Moran and the work he does, and wholeheartedly recommend him for anything you need done in your home. You will not be disappointed! He has a customer for life here!

Moran is very professional and was a pleasure to work with. He and his team met all of my expectations. I highly recommend his work.

Vered did a great job installing my kitchen cabinets, sink and appliances. He rerouted the plumbing line for the kitchen sink, added a water line for the refrigerator and installed a pot filler over the cooktop, added outlets in the appropriate spaces and added the electrical lines for the microwave drawer, undercounter oven and gas cooktop. He also set up electrical power for the old range oven that was relocated to the basement. He and his assistant Stephan were always polite, punctual and pleasant to work with. I was able to leave for work everyday without worry. Never came home to a mess. I added a few things after the work started and it was all done satisfactorily. It took longer than anticipated as there was a delay in getting all of the cabinets. Vered was at the ready when all of the parts finally arrived. I will definitely hire him again for future remodelling needs; as the house is a work in progress.

They were really quick on calling me back and setting an appointment. However, I gave everybody drawings for this renovation, and most of everybody gave me an incomplete quote. They found that I just ended up doing the job myself.

I emailed a picture of what I wanted done and he came out even though I was outsidethe normal work area.The shelves look custom.

We got three bids and Vered was the most competitive. His recommendations were very good and we proceeded. Positives:1. His subcontractors were excellent and were very trustworthy. You sensed the respect they had for Vered. 2. Not everything was perfect but he responded quickly and addressed the issues promptly. His responsiveness was great. 3. He was sensitive to price. He knew that Home Depot had a great deal on carpeting and directed us to them rather than use his people. It was cheaper for me to go to city hall for the permit than to have the architect do so and he shared that info. 4. In addition to his subcontractors, you could tell that he had an ability to do many of the tasks himself and therefore was very capable of managing every aspect of the project. 5. He did not stand on ceremony. One of the bidders insisted on us coming to their office to view these 3-D renderings and we could not make that time. Vered worked with us online and made it much simpler with the same quality. In the end, we have a basement we are really pleased with and will enjoy for many years.

Mr. Vered was on time, and knowledgeable and helped me with all of my projects that needed to be done around my home. I had an issue with my fireplace after he left and he came back to assist me in getting the fireplace to work. I am a real estate professional and I will give him referrals in the future. I will also use him on my future projects.

I would use them all the time. I will be using them in the next 3-4 month for a different project.

I had a tree fall on my house and needed help with repairing the electrical line to the house. Moran responded immediately.

Moran and his men were Great! He was very conscientious in his work and with my budget. He went the extra mile to make my kitchen look good and even added a little extra without charging me. I felt his subs were are as trustworthy as he was. We had him fix a rotten window frame and replace the some house siding after the kitchen was done. They will be finishing up the tile backsplash this week.

This was our first renovation project and Moran did a fantastic job on our kitchen. Our kitchen had to be practically torn down and rebuilt from scratch. The walls, floor and ceiling in our 1915 house were not level but he fixed it so that the end results look great. I found him very professional and trustworthy. His subcontractors were just as professional.I enjoyed working with him would definitely hire him again.

I had an appointment scheduled for 1 o'clock. I took the day off and rearranged my whole day and he called me less than an hour before he was supposed to be here to tell me that he couldn't be here today and that he needed to reschedule. I think it's very unprofessional and it messed up my whole day.

Mr. Vered did an excellent job on our repairs. He was very patient and willing to work with us. We called him on Thursday evening and he was able to come out the next morning. We had already set up an appointment with a contractor through Home Depot, so he was willing to wait until that appointment was over, then came back and got started on the job. We thought we would have to replace the whole tub, but Mr. Vered said the tub was fine, but just the drain assembly (that had rusted out and fallen beneath the tub) needed to be replaced. He cut a hole in the wall opposite the bathroom plumbing and installed an access panel so it would be easy to access for future changes or repairs. He got the work done, and then replaced a leaking valve for the water supply to the ice maker. He was wonderful to work with and charged a very reasonable rate. We were very happy with his work and especially the response time.

We called Mr. Vered again once we were ready to go ahead and replace our leaking bathtub faucet. We had bought the part already, but had gotten the wrong one (only had the top shower portion, no faucet). I rode with Mr. Vered to Home Depot to get the correct part and so he could get the supplies he needed to do the job. We had to shut off the water to the whole building to make the repair, so we had to wait a while for the water to stop running through the pipes so that he would be able to solder the new connections to the new faucet assembly. After waiting for the water supply that never completely stopped flowing, he used a different non-soldered connector so that he could get the job done. The new faucet looks and works great and we are very happy with the work he performed. We would definitely recommend Vered Renovations.

Moran was very professional, respectful in cleaning up his work space, and very reasonable in price. I will definitely use Moran and his services in the future!
