Darryl Rapp of Home Probe was not only on time, he was early. When we drove up at 9:02AM for our 9:00AM appointment, his ladder was already positioned on the roof. Darryl greeted us and then went over what his inspection would and would not be able to cover. Darryl was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and easy to understand. He walked us through everything and answered every question, no matter how small. We would never have found the gas and water shutoffs without him. From the first call to the final completion- everyone was very helpful and friendly. I had to have my real estate agent coordinate a time with them as well as with myself and they were more than willing to do that. Once the job was completed there was a follow-up call to verify all was completed. There was also a termite inspection and that went well also. Would definitely use them again in the future.

Darryl greeted us with a smile and proceeded to provide a very thorough inspection of all aspects of our potential new home. As we are nervous to make sure the home we are buying, he answered questions about a number of issues we had including how to get the windows un-stuck and location of the security system sensors, above and beyond his duties of inspection. He pointed out issues and suggested remedies for several small issues. Fortunately, the home is in very good condition and there are very few issues that need attention. Ann who scheduled our appointment was able to accommodate us with an earlier date for the inspection than originally planned, which worked out to our advantage as we were both able to be present. We even received an confirmation email with Darryl's photo and bio prior to the appointment, just so we would know who we were meeting with. The experience of working with Home Probe from start to finish was very professional and competent.

The great service began with the scheduling process. I needed an appointment quickly and was notified after initial date that my inspection could be moved up a day. Inspector was very professional and thorough. Upon completion of the inspection he reviewed the entire report and allowed ample time for questions. The report was easy to understand, included pictures and provided links to general reference documents at the end. All information provided was current to new construction codes. Would use their services again!

When I called for information, Tracy was helpful and did not try to sell me services we would not need for a 16th floor condo, such as radon and termite inspection. Darryl was on-site when we arrived a few minutes early for the scheduled inspection. He explained what he would be doing, invited our questions, and said we could follow him around or do something else until he finished. I chose to accompany him while the three others took room measurements. Darryl was most thorough when explaining what he was doing and why. When finished, he explained his findings and said he would email a complete copy of the report later that day. He even agreed to stay around a while longer while we finished measuring rooms and discussing furniture placement possibilities. It was a pleasure working with someone who treats the customer respectfully and patiently. We got our money's worth and enjoyed it.

It identified the settling of the first condo that I was interested in, and prevent me from getting into trouble.

My experience with Home Probe was excellent from beginning to end. When I first called to make the appointment, Tracy Cotrell was very friendly and informative. I had e-mail correspondence with Tracy and Ann Kleber, and both were very quick with their response time, as well as helpful. On the day of the inspection, we arrived just before Marla McKinney was finishing. She was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Marla took us back through the home to point out the items she found. She was happy to answer any questions we had about her report, as well as additional, general questions. Marla explained that Home Probe is available to answer any questions or give recommendation on contractors for as long as we own the home. Before she left, Marla said she would get the final report to us by the next day - which she did. We are very pleased with Home Probe, and everyone we have dealt with at the company. I would absolutely recommend them and use their services again.

Darryl Rapp provided a complete inspection of the house, starting with the kitchen appliances and household systems (heat, air, electrical). He thoroughly inspected the attic and the crawlspace, climbed onto the roof and examined its condition. He answered a lot of questions and provided a detailed and thorough report and inspection.

I am in the process of purchasing my sixth home and I can honestly say that Home Probe has been the best inspection company I have ever had the pleasure of using. I used them to inspect 3 homes in the Atlanta area that I was considering for purchase. The first inspection was done by Rael, who was professional, thorough and excellent at explaining everything to me. The next two inspections were performed by Marla who was also professional, thorough and excellent at explaining things that every home buyer should know about when purchasing a home. The inspection report includes important information regarding the electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, has pictures of any deficiencies found, and recommends what type of repairs are needed. They were great at getting back to me with additional questions that I had after the inspection. They have a very friendly and professional office staff who will help you both before and after the inspection. I would highly recommend Home Probe to anyone. I looked around at other places, but they were the best I found in both price and experience and exceeded my expectations.

We're in the process of buying a foreclosure and needed a really thorough inspection on a short time frame. It took a few days longer than I thought to go under contract on the house, but Home Probe was able to work with me and set up an inspection date as soon as I needed it. My wife and I met Darryl at the house and he was on-time and very friendly. He spent about 2.5 hours going over all the details of the house with us and answering any questions we had. His report was well-done and back to us by the end of the day. If possible schedule your inspection after its been raining. We were able to much better see where water was coming into the house because it had been raining for a couple of days.

Both times I had the great pleasure of working together with Darryl on the inspections. He was fast courteous and patiently answered any questions I had. When it came time to review the report he took his time to fully explain each thing he had found and thoroughly explained what to do to fix an issue if there was one. The level of professionalism and service I received was top-notch and made the entire process stress free. Were I to ever need a home inspection service again they would be the first number I would call. Cannot recommend them enough!

Our home inspector, Marla, was such a pleasure to work with. She arrived early and stayed late to ensure her inspection was complete. Marla provided helpful tips about the house and offered to assist with any questions for as long as we own the house. Marla was so thoughtful - she brought chairs and bottled water for us, as she knew it would be a long, hot day!

I called and set up an appointment. They were able to work under quick notice, and since i was leaving town before the inspection (was a relocation home purchase) the company was more than happy to walk through with a local friend as a stand in.Very thorough. Report was easy to read and understand even for a layman like myself. The company included a laminated quick reference guide showing the locations of important utility meters and controls in the house, which is very useful for a new owner.

I was thrilled with Home-Probe's service and report. Rael showed up at the house before me and was ready to go. He spent 3+ hours at the house going over all of my concerns, which was much appreciated since it was 90 degree and the air conditioning wasn't working. He checked EVERY outlet, every source of water, every window, etc. There was a serious problem with a water leak that we already knew about. He spent lots of time in the crawl space checking all of the sub-flooring and floor joists concerning these water issues. The report has great suggestions and is well organized. I would absolutely use this company again because of there thorough service and professionalism.

LOVED THEM! This is the third house I have had inspected by Home Probe and had nothing but amazing results with them. We had all of 72 hours to do due diligence on this home (you usually get at least 2 weeks...), and we called Home Probe on Friday, not expecting they would be able to work us in on such very short notice. (They are so good, they are very busy!) They came out at 1:30 on Saturday!! Amazing! Great customer service. He arrived early, spent hours at the house and carefully inspected everything that was available to inspect. The water was not on at the house, so he was not able to inspect anything relating to water...........BUT, said they would come back a second time AT NO CHARGE to inspect the water items once the water was on. Fantastic! The inspector was extremely knowledgable and was able to explain everything easily without talking above my head with technical terms. I had the full report emailed to me within two hours of the completion of the inspection. The inspector and I had already reviewed it together at the house, but it was awesome that I had it in my inbox so quickly......and on a Saturday!! I now have full confidence in purchasing this home, thanks to the inspection done by Home Probe. I will use them exclusively on all future home purchases.......and will refer all my friends to only them!!

Darryl Rapp was on time, very professional, and very patient with questions. He did an extremely thorough job and went over the draft report in great detail.

A friend recently had the buyer of her home use them and she was very impressed with how thorough they were so I decided to give them a try. Darryl was great. He explained everything and took his time. I am a real estate agent and have come across many inspectors. Some do a great inspection but the report is not great. Others a great report but the inspection is not well done. This was the perfect combination of both. I will be referring them to clients!

My appointment was scheduled on a Saturday which was very helpful for me. Rael's inspection was thorough. Within two hours I had a pdf file emailed to me which included detailed results and suggestions for the homeowner. Photos are included in the exterior and interior inspection. Our inspector Real started at one end of the house, then the outside, the pool house, and the exterior. He was able to notice a lot of things that I wouldn't have thought of.

We called for a quote first and was given the exact price that the service would be. We were able to schedule an appointment for the date and time we needed. When we arrived Darryl was already at the property and was ready to go. He explained everything in detail and listed to all of our concerns. He also allowed us to follow along with him during the inspection so that we saw everything that was going on. We received our report when promised, and there were very thorough and easy to understand.

Quick and rapid communication. The appointment was easy to schedule. The inspector was knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. He looked into the areas that I was concerned about, and told me which ones were significant and which ones were not. He identified problems and gave helpful feedback as to correcting the problems. The final report was very thorough, and it was useful when showing issues to other service providers. I'd use them again, and refer them to friends!
