Was referred to Home Probe by my agent and scheduling was smooth. Once I got my home inspection time set up my inspector Gregg showed up early to the appointment and greeted me with a friendly smile. He did a great job in pointing out any issues that I didn't even see. He was also very educational on what was the problem and what needs to be addressed. Gregg did an amazing job with my home inspection. I would highly recommend his company and ask for Gregg again.

The inspection was terrible, and by that I don't mean the inspector. He found all kinds of things wrong with the house, but that's exactly why he was there. The inspector's name was Greg Hall, and he did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

Our inspector was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain things as he was walking through and was very thorough. He explained why he was doing the things he was doing and explained to us as we went through the house and told us the good, the bad and the ugly when needed. He then, made sure to review his report with us prior to leaving and we had the information we needed even before the report was emailed. The report was emailed promptly as promised. I would definitely use them again! And the price was very fair

The inspector, Marla, was punctual and quite thorough. She explained what she was looking for and showed me her findings as we went along. She answered my many questions patiently and fully. Shortly after the inspection I received an full report, with pictures, via email, exactly as she said I would.

I was given three recommended inspectors by my agent. All had good scores on AL but Home Probe was by far the highest score. I was able to get an appointment by phone only a few days out. The day of the inspection my agent called at the appointment time saying he was onsite and waiting for Home Probe, but turned out the inspector arrived early and was already working on the exterior of the house. The inspection was completed in less than the 3 hours quoted (3000 sq ft) and we were provided a thorough report and explanation of all issues found along with notes and other informative bits about the house. The review was sent to me and my agent that afternoon. Great experience.

Marla was right on time for her appointment. She met with us and told us what to expect through the process and invited us to ask any questions we had throughout the process. She was extremely knowledgeable about home construction and what to expect to see. Since the home was built in the 1940's and recently renovated, she pointed out that granite countertops are sometimes too heavy for the foundations of older homes. She showed us the picture of the foundation beneath the kitchen and pointed out the new footers were poured and the kitchen was re-supported indicating that the renovation was done correctly. She left no door knob untouched, no place in the home left uninspected. She climbed the roof, the attic and the entire crawlspace. She pointed out each issue that the house had (small issues) and educated us on how to correct those and what type of provider we'd have to hire to get the work done. She inspected the home from the roof all the way down to the crawl space. Marla told us the full story happens in the basement/crawlspace. She took us down there and pointed out how things should be (luckily they were). She didn't rush us, she spent time with us and have us insight on the expense of fixes that were required and told us which fixes were likely going to require city permits. All in all, Marla and Home Probe were essential in negotiating our sales contract on our home. I feel completely confident in recommending their services.

We loved them so much we used them twice and now refer everyone we know to them as well. Greg Hall is amazing. Cannot say enough good things about him and the work he does.

Home Probe was able to schedule on a couple of days notice. They were very professional and thorough. I especially appreciated the quick turnaround on the report (next day) and the estimates of what it would take to cure each defect that I found.

Great company. I was able to get a quote immediately and schedule an appointment for the next day. Greg arrived early to the appointment. He was very professional and knowledgeable. In addition to a full inspection, he focused on areas of particular concern. He found many items I wasn't aware of and I've owned the home for more than 3 years. He went over the report and the items that need attention before he left. I received a full copy via email a short time later. The report is easy to navigate and understand with industry standards attached to each item. Greg's inspection will allow us to be on a level playing field when dealing with contractors to fix our home's issues because we know exactly what we are dealing with from an unbiased 3rd party with no interest in making repairs to the home.

Home Probe provided a top quality job in the inspection of the home we were interested in purchasing. The entire process was professional and they were extremely accessible. Jeff provided a very throrough inspection of the property, taking pictures of every instance he noted throughout the entire process. I met Jeff at the house for a full review of the inspection. Jeff went through every aspect of the report, walking me through the house to show areas of concern. He also made notes of things to look into for possible future expenditures. He took very detailed notes and pictures adding labels to the pictures to point out the exact issue or area of concern. I was running late to the house to meet Jeff due to a work meeting running late. Jeff stayed at the house and waited for me to arrive for over an hour. I recieved an email copy of the full report later that day. Jeff and his team were courteous, punctual, detailed, and very honest through the entire process. *Several months after the inspection and moving into our home, I contacted Home Probe because I needed to provide a certificate of compliance for Dekalb watershed. Jeff completed the certificate on my behalf since he had so thoroughly inspected my home several months before. Again, Home Probe provided service way beyond any expectations.*

The inspector was thorough and professional. He found items that were missed on a different company's inspection done a few months prior by other buyers (deal fell through). When we had questions about the report, the inspector called back in a timely manner. In my opinion, the final report could be improved a bit. For example, if nothing was wrong, no comments were made--including that nothing was wrong. I had to call the office for clarification on that point. It would have been better to state "no problems found" rather than leave it blank. I think they are a bit too pricey, too, especially for the radon testing.

Greg was there a few minutes early and used his time to conduct an inspection of the home's exterior. When we arrived he began explaining to us his findings and whether or not those findings were of great or less significance. Then we went toward the front of the house and we were quite impressed with his thoroughness. We've had homes inspected before, but Greg was over the top in attention to detail. He found things in the front of the house and inside the house that we never would have seen if he'd not pointed them out to us. We followed him around the house into all the rooms upstairs as well as downstairs and into the garage. He was careful to explain to us not only what he was finding and their significance (if any), but also how we might repair some of the minor problems ourselves and estimated costs of those repairs. We cannot praise this guy enough for his work. Finally, he downloaded all of the photos he took with his phone into his laptop, itemized and placed arrows on all the photos to identify the problem areas, and then within four hours had the report sent to our home email account. WELL WORTH the money for the inspection.

It was wonderful! We were expecting a very distant home inspection of a guy walking around and just telling us where things were wrong about the house. We had Darryl as our inspector and he was great. It was a very educational experience. Darryl sat us down and explained what the day was going to be like as he inspected. He gave us an explanation of everything he was doing and why he was doing. His sense of humor put us at ease and he encouraged us to "kick the tires" on the house just as much as he did. After he was done, he walked us through every page of his report and basically provided a thorough instruction manual for our new home. His advice and tips were great and I know will help us save money on things like repairs and utilities down the road. In case you are wondering, our home passed with flying colors and we close on it this week!

This is the second time we have used Home Probe for a pre-purchase home inspection. As long as we live in the Atlanta metro area, we will never use another home inspection company. Darryl was on time and professional throughout the entire process. He allowed me to accompany him through the inspection, pointing out both small and potentially large issues along the way. He never rushed through any aspect of the inspection and answered every question I had. The report was very complete and in the end, saved us at least $25,000 in unexpected repairs. With the detailed inspection report, which included many pictures, we were able to renegotiate with the sellers to cover the cost of repairs. Without the detailed inspection, we would have been facing a significant amount of money in repairs when we closed on the house. Thanks so much to Home Probe and Darryl for the great inspection!

First class service from start to finish. Inspector was open, engaging and informative. The only 'B' rating was as a result of the inspector being a little late though this was due to road work on key artery. Report was delivered on time as promised and was clear and easily understood.
