My wife and I have owned 8 homes and, counting refi's, we have had about 18 closings so far in life. Without a doubt, Matt Meyer is the absolutely best real estate agent we have ever encountered. He is thorough, professional, knowledgeable and honest as the day is long. We purchased the home in Decatur and our son organized the renovation back in 2005. Our plans changed and we ended up renting the home to people associated with Emory University until August, 2009. At that time it was clear that the housing market, both rental and sale, was very tough. We decided to make some final renovations and put the home on the market. Given the bad market situation, we turned to Angie's list to find a highly recommended real estate agent. Although Matt had only one previous report, which was excellent, we went with him after a long conversation in which we found him to be extremely knowledgeable and forthright. The first thing Matt did was visit the house and give us a detailed list of what he saw needed to be done. He also recommended a staging firm and that owner also examined the property and added to the Matt's list. The list was long and involved some costs, but in retrospect, he and the staging firm were right on the money. We listed the home about the beginning of March, 2010, and immediately we got great feedback from Matt, with weekly reports of competive listings in the area. Matt was a dynamo, reviewing every agent's visit report and advising us on the best way to adjust our price to get a quick sale at the best possible price. The final chapter in the story is that on April 30 we agreed to a sales contract and on May 27 we went to closing. In this market, this was an absolute miracle! Our advice: hire Matt, do what he says to the letter, and you will have the best possible chance to sell your property, or to buy a property under the best possible terms. I wish we could clone Matt for all of the other services we will need in the future!

Matt Myers was my agent in a property purchase. He was down to earth, knowledgeable, tireless, and truly concerned about what he could do to help me in finding a good property. Even now, months after the closing, he has phoned me asking if I'm satisfied and if there's anything he could do to facilitate any aspect of getting used to/moved in to my home.
