wonderfully - very nice on phone and workers were nice when on premises

I got 5 bids to replace my roof and DeKalb Roofing was by far the least expensive bid I received. They did not try to upsell me on more expensive products and they provided all new vent boots, ridge vents and 25 year Owens Corning shingles. They also insisted on giving me full shingle samples instead of just little swatches when deciding on a color. They came when they said they'd come and finished when they said they'd finish and I have a nice looking roof now which doesn't leak.

I called this company this morning and requested someone come and assess the damage to my roof. The roof is 16 years old and may need replacing. However the lady that answered the phone said that they only replace roofs and that they do not fix leaks and damages to the roof. I explained to this women that I wanted someone to come and look at my roof to see if it need replacing or not. She refused to talk further. She said that I should call a bigger company to assess the damage. I don't understand. If they don't send someone to review the issue then how do they get business? I'm fairly sure that my roof will need replacing based on what I see happening inside my house and checking my gutters outside the house. However this company will not replace my roof. I have another company coming today.

The two men arrived on time and began work immediately. They manufactured the gutters on site. It was one of those GA scattered thundershower type of days, but they finished the job. They cleaned up and hauled away all the old guttering. They were polite, friendly and efficient and answered my questions about the "gutter machine."

Crew was very thorough and knowledgeable. All went exactly as planned and promised. I was able to schedule next day service. The only surprise was it took a day and a half, but it was not a problem because the weather was nice.

We were having leaks spring up due to an old roof. I called and they had an inspector out the next day - sure enough, whole roof needed to be replaced. The inspector let my husband up on the roof with him so he could point out and explained specifics which was really awesome in our book. He explained that roofing guidelines had changed since our roof was last replaced (maybe 30 years ago) and what would happen to get it up to date. They called the day ahead to say they would arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 - they arrived exactly at 8:15! Everything was completed by the end of the day and it looks awesome! They were clean, professional, courteous and timely. Couldn't ask for more!

Perfect. This is my first and only online review. DeKalb Roofing deserves kudos. This is a professional, competent, cost effective family owned business that has provided sound recommendations and a good product. Everyone associated with the job has been first rate.

We had a roof leak after the heavy rain we had which caused some damage to walls in living room. We called DeKalb Roofing after getting a referral from a family member who recommended Angies list. Once we read through some of the reviews we decided to go with DeKalb Roofing.. Robert came out and gave us a free estimate. He was friendly and professional. He assessed the damage and notified us straight away what had caused the leak DeKalb Roofing did not do the job for at least at week after getting the estimate due to schedules but that was ok because luckily it did not rain again. I would definitely recommend DeKalb Roofing to anyone and we would definitely use them again.. Thank you DeKalb Roofing.

We used DeKalb Roofing years ago fro a brand new roof. We added onto the house three years ago and recently, a leak surfaced in the valley between the old and new roof. I called DeKalb and they immediately recognized the problem, offering to come out to the house the next day. When he arrived, he went up for a look around and quickly told me what the issue was - the shingles were in alignment, so the water was flowing across rather than down, and they had used metal in the valley that had expanded and warped in the heat. The metal was also in the other valley, but since there was no leak, he recommended that we not mess with it. Someone came out and fixed the roof that week while I was at work. They called me that evening to make sure I was ok with the work and the way they left things. I got a bill in the mail two weeks later and was happy to pay it.

Great on time promptly gave a wriitem estimate.

They did a good job, very professional. I would recommend them and expect friendly people and very professional service. The service was quick to complete, they had to wait a few days to do the work until it stopped raining. After the started it was completed promptly. The area was left so clean that you couldn't tell they had been here.

Jeff came out and was the only representative of the several companies who were here that actually climbed up on my roof. My roof is 15 years into a 20 year Tamko shingle, which the Internet says is a pretty good life for Georgia, but there are no leaks or damage. Jeff was very pleasant and informative and the price was good. The only thing that concerned me was Jeff's saying that a preformed metal drip edge wasn't needed on my roof, which may be so, but I think drip edge is code now in Georgia, so I didn't quite know what to make of that suggestion. I would have pursued the matter further, because I was impressed with Jeff's presentation and the price, but in the end I chose to go with another vendor at a slightly higher price.

My experience with DeKalb Roofing Company went very well. Most of our communication was over email and I did not need to be home when they came to my house for the bid or do the work which was very convenient for me. I did ask that they call me before I engaged them to work on my house to talk through the job, answer a few questions I had for them, and to set my expectations. I remember them being very open and matter of fact about the process and the products used. After I asked them to perform the work on my house they put me on the schedule which could fluctuate a few days depending on the weather. The job took about two days to complete and the workers did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. The gutters and guard worked great except for one area by my kitchen door. In this area, the gutter guards were not able to handle the amount of water coming out of the down spout from the upper level of my house. Once I noticed the problem I email the company to look at and fix the issue. They came out after the first break in the weather and extended the downspout into the gutter on the bay window for no additional charge. This seemed to fix the problem and I am very appreciative of their responsiveness.

Robert was very courteous, friendly and on time. I enjoyed is very casual style in doing business, and he occurred to me as being very trustworthy. His crew showed up on the day we agreed upon. They did the job. I didn't even have to be home. Robert's crew installed some heavier duty roofing material to hold up during high winds. Soon after the roof was repaired, heavy rains and high winds ensued. The roofing material stayed attached to the roof, and I was thrilled that it didn't leak with a torrential downpour for several days. I would highly recommend DeKalb Roofing for your roofing needs. . They found that the leak was caused by improper installation by the original roofer. They came back later to be sure that we were happy with the job. Since than we had another leak around a vent pipe and he patched it with no charge. Just cost me a cup of coffee. An outstanding company.

The work was great! The came on time; did the job ;clean up all in one day and was gone!
