+ -1 moreI pre-purchased a $100 special to clean 2 bathrooms and a kitchen of a house I was getting ready to rent (rest of house was clean). Before they came out I contacted them and discovered that the cleaning only covers "basic" cleaning (sweep, wipe off counters, etc...) and not "deep" cleaning and that there would also be a $25 "materials" fee if I did not provide chemicals and a $15 "travel" fee for traveling to SW Atlanta. Net net, my $100 cleaning special was going to wind up costing me closer to $225-250 when all was said and done. I said no thanks and requested a refund. It has not come yet. I also sent an inquiry to Angie's list as to why it was not refunded and have not heard back yet. It makes me a little concerned about what happens when you need to legitimately cancel one of these prepaid Angie's specials. Regarding Airam while I wouldn't go as far as calling it bait and switch, it felt pretty close as the Material fee was not disclosed in the "special". BTW I called somebody else and got it done for $100.

Description of Work: It took several days to hear back and get the service scheduled at a house an hour away from us. I asked if I could rely on her as we were selling the house and had a closing scheduled later in the week. She answered yes. 30 minutes before service was to start, half way through my drive, I called to confirm and nobody answered the phone. I left a message to confirm. 5 minutes later somebody texted me to say they have to reschedule it. A call would have been nice. If I did not call them, i would have driven an hour, and probably waited another two hours for them to show up, only to drive back for a no show. To date they have not called back to reschedule. We no longer need the service as the house is now sold.
