We heard about Matt from his brother (our home inspector), and decided that since the home inspection had gone so well, we would give Matt a try for general contracting work. We knew we needed to install some ventilation in the roof since the house had almost not venting to begin with, so we decided on the vents that we liked, ordered them and had Matt come do the installation. It took a couple of hours, and while he was there we also had him replace a couple of vent boots that had cracked. The original quote ($375) was just for the install of the vents themselves, so we added an additional $40 per vent boot to the installation cost. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and looks (and works) great. We noticed a big reduction in attic temperature right away, and are very pleased with the work.
