I took my rug to Alex. We looked at the damage and Alex educated me about the rug I owned. Not terribly valuable in the scheme of things, but it was one of my favorites. Alex explained what the cleaning process would involve and he made no promises. I left the rug with him and 2 days later it was ready. Alex had it laid out so I could see the rug. It looked great. He actually had to dye some of the areas because the wax was so difficult to remove it also discolored some areas. This did not bother me, I knew it was going to be a challenge. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him if you are a collector of fine oriental rugs. He had some of the most beautiful rugs in his shop. He also considers trade ins, which is great if you are changing your home decor.

It was amazing how much better the rug looked. They under-promised and over-delivered. If I ever have an other carpet that I need cleaned, I will have them do it. For what they did and the chemicals they used, I got a good deal. I've heard of people spending that much on a much smaller rug.
