Native Custom Stone

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. The owner, Billy Bennett's rudeness and denial over the phone when I wanted to bring to his attention defective product was undeserving. Specifically, the defective product was not cleaned well in post production (lots of extra residue that my masons had to cut with the saw in order to use - meaning more time and hence more money from me to pay the labor cost), and, many of the edges did not have paint so the top would be brown while the edge would be gray - meaning my masons had to cut down more just to make sure the piece butting up to it didn't show the unpainted part, and once again, more time means more money I had to pay the masons). Out of complete frustration and an attempt to allow this company to validate my claim of defective product, I asked the rep to come to my job to give her a full disclosure to take pictures, ask questions, see products, examine the quality of workmanship...anything that would show them I'm not hiding anything and that my claim is legitimate. When the owner heard she was coming to my house he told his employee if she came she'd be fired (I have the recording from the rep). I let the Distributor listen to the recording and they were so embarrassed and immediately sent their owner to the job site. He was amazed at the poor quality and asked to take several pieces to discuss with company. In short, the distributor said Billy Bennett would not do anything. Since I needed more product, my distributor felt so bad that I was wronged by this company they offered to sell the product to me at their cost. It's a pity the distributor has to take no profit when the pure fault is because of defective product from the manfacturer. I have pictures if anyone needs to see that the claim is legitimate and not just a consumer whose feelings are hurt. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Can you imagine how I feel about their warranty if they wouldn't assume responsibility for their products today.
