Computer repair and cell phone repair located in Dawsonville, Ga by AML Computer Services. We also serve Big Canoe, Jasper, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Cleveland, Gainesville, Cumming, Canton and other surrounding areas. Our in home or in shop computer repair includes all Windows based devices, Apple or Mac devices and our cell phone repair includes iPhone, iPad, iPod, all Android and Windows devices. We are the only company recommended by both AT&T and Radio Shack in Dawsonville for your computer repair and cell phone repair. We are very proud of this because they are doing this based on the positive feedback from their customers. You can drop off your computer for repair or we can come to your house or business. We make house calls at the same price as if you came to us. Our cell phone repair is all done in house and in most cases cell phone repair can be done while you wait. Since AML Computer Services was specifically started to help the home user, home based business and small business, we do not target the larger businesses like some do, this way we have time for you. We can usually have your computer repaired in one business day because we do have more than one technician. This means as a consumer whether a home user or business you don’t have to worry about support when your one technician goes out of town or is sick. We are the IT support for the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber and the Dawson County Humane Society. Try us and you will see our service is different and worth the price you pay. We have been successful enough with providing a quality service that now other repair companies are popping up claiming to be able repair your computer and cell phone. We are licensed and insured. When we say we are insured it means our insurance policy covers you against data loss, theft and other IT specific related issues. His assessment was spot on. I bought a monitor and took it home with the assurance I could bring it back if it didn't work out. I have had no problems since. While I did buy a new monitor from AML, I wasn't charged for anything else. Even though the shop was very busy that day I felt that I received prompt, thorough and courteous service. I won't hesitate to take any future computer problems to AML
Description of Work: My computer terminal kept going off. I hooked up an old monitor and it worked for a few minutes then it too went dead. I had been having some issues that I thought might be related to the graphics card, so I decided that must be the problem. I took my desktop to AML and Rick hooked it up to check it out. It ran perfectly. He asked me to tell him again what it had been doing. Despite the fact that I had tried changing out the monitor, he explained that if the old monitor was quite old, some of the new technologies had probably exceeded its capability, hence it quit. In his opinion the monitor was the likely source of the problem.

Took laptop to AML and explained my problem. Staff checked the problem immediately and indicated the motherboard went bad. Sine laptop still under warranty, I was advised to send it back to manufacturer. AML staff advised they would help me should the manufacturer not make good on the warranty.
Description of Work: Took in laptop for diagnosis of problem. Staff checked the problem while I was there rather than ask me to leave the laptop and then call me with the problem diagnosis.
