Ivyleaf Interior Decor

I had a very disappointing and beyond frustrating experience with JEANNELLY JAY OWNER & PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER at Ivyleaf Interior Decor. I should have read the plethora of bad reviews prior to hiring this company. The poor reviews are consistent with what I experienced. but there were so many good ones too Prior to hiring JEANNELLY JAY OWNER & PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER at Ivyleaf Interior Decor , I very clearly expressed expectations through photographs and conversation. If JEANNELLY could not deliver the luxury staging experience Ivyleaf Interior Decor promotes, we should never have engaged in a working relationship. At a minimum, JEANNELLY should have been upfront about lacking inventory (the excuse I was given), and that the glamorous look to which I was aspiring could not be achieved. Instead, JEANNELLY took $14,900.00 upfront, and delivered substandard staging; dirty, stained and damaged furniture and art. Furthermore, a clashing "farmhouse" style was incorporated into one of the main rooms; highly inconsistent with the glamorous style of the home's design. The corrective action the rep took to remove the dirt from the art was to stick her finger in her mouth in an attempt to wipe off the dirt on the art. Not appropriate under any circumstances, but especially egregious in the COVID era. I lost confidence in getting JEANNELLY the Owner at Ivyleaf Interior Decor, LLC to rectify the situation. In order to achieve a quality look, consistent with the home's quality construction and design, I had to move several of my own art pieces, accessories and furniture into the home. On the day JEANNELLY and Ivtyleaf team was scheduled to vacate the premises, I drove 2 hours to meet the crew at 8:00 AM, our scheduled time; the crew was over 3 hours late. JEANNELLY continuously lied to me about the crew getting stuck in early morning traffic. The truth, JEANNELLY and Ivyleaf Interior decided to schedule another job prior to my scheduled 8:00 AM time slot. Par for the course.

The services Ivy Leaf Interior - Jeannelly Jay provided for Our master bedroom left my husband and I amazed. Jeannelly was careful with each detail of our room plan and even thru a pandemic made sure all our purchased items arrived and were installed in a timely fashion. She even worked with our unique design aesthetic and helped us make decisions when we were uncertain about what we wanted. This was our first time having a room designed and installed and it was worth every penny. We truly desired a room space that was just ours, relaxing and upscale. She was able to make all that happen. I will definitely be utilizing her team again and look forward to the next install.

Wow! Wow was the only word I could think of when I saw the finished product! I am always on the go & really wanted to have a space that was neutral for my fiancé & I whenever either of us worked from home. Decorating any space in your home can be overwhelming, especially for one who does not enjoy decorating or putting things together without directions but the peace of mind provided through it all gave me a peace of mind like no other & was worth every penny! She takes any idea from big or small and creates a vision like no other. Being a virtual client out of Florida, she not only made the process smooth by having everything delivered to our front door, but Jeannelly took the time to not only tell us how to set it up but even FaceTimed and walked us through hanging up the decor, ensuring the curtains were up correctly, to even fluffing the fig tree to add the perfect greenery touch! She is the definition of one who is passionate about her craft in any and all aspects! If this is what she does virtually, I can only imagine how hands on she is in person! I am in love with our office & cannot wait to continue turning our house into a home with the best interior designer out there !
