Kenneth was very nice at first. Price was comparable to other contractors bids. Then a week later they started on the deck. I paid half to start. Half when done It went downhill fast. He did not like me asking questions and made it clear he was a professional with 30 years experience. First red flag. Halfway thru when I asked for a copy of the building permit he said he did not need one. Second red flag. Ramp was too steep and didn't meet the ground all the way. "Nah, it's fine" he said. Third red flag. Boards were uneven, nails jutting out, warped wood, angles not meeting up, the list goes on Didn't clean up cig butts, paper peels, wood scraps, etc. After gates started sagging and lots of nails were missing in the decking planks and railing I contacted him. No response. 4 messages over 2 months time. No response. I contacted 3 other contractors to find out what work I needed redone prior to staining and they all stated there were lots of violations. So I contacted the Paulding County Building Inspector. The inspector cited many code violations that needed to be fixed prior to staining so I texted him (again). This time his response was he was going on vacation for 2 weeks The next text stated for me to not call or text him for 3 weeks and that he did not care. Nightmare.

Ken's team was painting our neighbor's house. We asked him for a quote. The price was so reasonable we decided to have them do the work. One of the things I liked about Ken was that he asked for half up front and half at the end. Made me comfortable that he would get the work done. His team was very easy to work with and they did a great job. Our house is partial brick and then a mix of shake and lap siding. It is pretty large. They did a great job and got to all the places that are a good three stories in the back of the house where we have a walk out basement. The quality of the paint was great and we were just really pleased to get it done. I would recommend Ken to anybody getting outside painting done.
