Work and Pricing: We called several plumbers to address a water leak under our lawn. Most companies took a quick look and suggested repairs that either didn't make sense or were ridiculously expensive. Atlantis was the only company to offer an alternative solution that made a lot more sense (rerouting the line so we wouldn't have to tear up concrete and remove plants), which was subsequently about 25% cheaper than the next lowest bid. Workers: Very professional and unobtrusive. After the work was done, we had a minor follow-up issue. Atlantis was out the next morning and cleared it right up. Good plumbers, good solutions, good pricing. They also offered the best warranty. I would absolutely use Atlantis again.

We discovered a burst water pipe due to the freezing weather on a Friday at 6pm. After shutting the water off to the house I started calling plumbers off of Angie's List. Atlantis answered their phone and told me they already had several burst pipe calls ahead of me but would add me to the list. Very few of the other plumbers I called even answered their phones and the ones that did told me it would be Saturday or later before they could get to us due to so many burst pipes in the area. Atlantis called back and said they could come out that night, which we were very grateful for. Butch and Brandon did a great job repairing the broken pipes. Both Butch and Brandon were very knowledgeable, polite and professional!

A poor customer service experience this time around. I used Atlantis back in 2007 to replace a main water line and at that time I gave them an "Excellent" review on Kudzu. At that time, I was highly impressed with their quick response, quality work, honesty, and professionalism. Perhaps this was due to Mike, who I believe is the owner of the company, performing the work. When I had issues during the January freeze, Atlantis Plumbing was the only company I thought to call. Unfortunately, my second experience was not so positive. After the deep freeze in early-January some of the pipes in my kitchen were frozen. I called Atlantis and explained that I need to have them investigate why my pipes were freezing. I also knew that I needed a Pressure Regulator installed along with a main shut-off valve. I also had a shower that was constantly dripping. The customer service representative was very nice on the phone. I was under the impression that they would install the pressure regulator valve, main shut-off, and explore all of the other plumbing issues we were experiencing. I was at work when the two plumbers arrived, but my wife was home to greet them. One of the plumbers (Tom L) appeared irritated/disinterested and did not seem to want to listen to my wife. The second plumber (Carlos) seemed willing to give explanations/and listen but did not appear to be the lead guy on the job. I left my wife with a list of questions that I had for the plumbers but ,unfortunately, she could not easily talk to them about it. The Pressure Regulator, Ball Valve, and the shower were fixed properly. I gladly rate them an "A" for the quality and price of this work. I am docking the overall rating because of the customer service experience being poor and not all of our issues being addressed and resolved. For example. my wife asked Tom L if our crawl space pipes needed some insulation to prevent them from freezing in the future. Instead of quoting a price to perform the work, Tom L said "it would cost $400-$500 (which seems grossly overestimated) to perform the work and whoever does the work is going to have a "pain in the neck"". He said that "He (meaning Me) could go to Home Depot, buy the supplies, and do it himself for $80" Yes, I am aware that I could probably do the work myself, but I called your company of licensed professionals, to make sure that the work was done properly and per building code. I am sure that there are many other plumbers in the Atlanta area that would be happy to perform the service and accept payment. It would have been nice to make a recommendation, and if you don't like the crawlspace work, tell us that you would be happy to have someone else from Atlantis come out to help us. Today, with the extreme cold temperatures, we are having similar issues with the kitchen pipes freezing. I feel very strongly that we could have avoided this issue, if Tom L, would have made a recommendation to help us solve the problem, for which, we would have been happy to pay Atlantis for their services. The negative feedback could have been avoided by simply listening to all of your customer's questions and not acting like you are in a rush to get to the next job because "this job took too long." I would welcome a call from management to discuss further.

I called 3 plumbers before I got in touch with Atlantis and they agreed to come out that day. They gave us an estimate of 7pm-9pm and the plumber showed up at 6:30. I was expecting an emergency visit fee as well as an fee for the estimate but they did not charge any of those fees. The rep went and got the material and had our water running in under 2 hours. He also gave us advice on what to buy to insulate the pipe that burst as well as the other pipes in the garage. I will use them again and I highly recommend them to others.

Atlantis was the only plumbing service who agreed to respond to our emergency busted water pipe that same day. They called to let us know they were on their way. Arrived an hour early, located the problem and got it repaired ASAP. Reggie was outstanding, professional and a super nice guy. Can't say enough great things about our experience with Atlantis and Reggie. Great job boys!

The guy arrived on time and at first had a decent personality, he told me what the problem was and proceeded to quote me a price, things were still going well, then after conferring with my mom, who felt the price was a little steep and preferred to buy the toilet on her own and install it, the tech briskly gave me back the phone, yelled for the guys to pack it up, was rude, stomped out the door and said " I am never coming back out here again" it was like a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum. Because of his behavior, I called another plumber to ask for a second opinion because at that point, I didn't trust what he said was true. The second plumbers (TWIN Plumbers) were very polite and even though I didn't get work done on the spot, they provided me with the estimate and said a pleasant goodbye, as a result, I have decided to have the work done by them, they had good customer service skills and didn't act like spoiled children. When you give an estimate, that is what it is, just because I decide at that moment not to have the work done doesn't mean you should turn into a spoiled brat and stomp your feet, it made the company look bad and I will not be making any referrals to them. Customer service is important.

Wonderful Plumbers!! We came home to a garage that was flooding because the hot water heater had died and was spewing water from the bottom. The shut off valve to the hot water heater would not shut off the water to the heater, so we had to shut off the water to the entire house, then we started calling plumbers. Atlantis called us back within 10 minutes of our message. He asked if we had the water contained and when I said yes; he said he could have a plumber at our house between 9:30 and 11 the next morning. The plumber called before he came and was here by 10:30. He inspected the old water heater and the shut off. He gave us a quote for a new one, which we accepted. He installed a new more efficient water heater, changed the shut off valve (gave us one which is easier for older folks - has a handle instead of a twist valve) and gave us a new gas line. When he was finished he hauled the old heater away. Professional from start to finish. We have hot water again. Some of the other plumbers STILL haven't called back. Thanks Atlantis.

It went well, took a little longer to complete than originally thought, but a lot of work was done. I like the quality of craftsmanship that Tim displays in his work i.e. getting all the supply lines snug inside a crowded wall. His partner Corey did a good job as well. If I need any future work or repairs done I won't hesitate to call them again.

I was referred to Atlantis by a neighbor and then found them on Angie's list. It was very easy to make an appointment and they sent someone in the time frame I requested. Jon called to let me know he was on his way and arrived in the set time frame. He was very thorough in his evaluation and kept me up to date on what he was doing. We discussed the price for the inspection and cutting into the ceiling - final cost was exactly his estimate. If I need a plumber I will definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone who needs a plumber.

The jobs was completed without any damage to the driveway and minor landscape damage. The crew was on time was very professional. The best part- the invoice did not even break the bank. This is the plumbing company I will be using from now on. Do hire this company. Do not waste your time calling anyone else.

So I had about six items I wanted to get done. While in Home Depot in Villa Rica I saw a sign for free estimates. I inquired about a free plumbing estimate. I was contacted by Bynum Plumbing out of Lilburn, GA and scheduled an appointment for today. I also wanted a gas line modified so I went to look at Bynum's website to see if they offer that kind of service. In the process I found out there were multiple highly negative reviews of unprofessionalism and canceling at the last minute. Based on this I didn’t want to waste my time and canceled the appointment. I then signed up for Angie’s List and came across Atlantis Plumbing. I called them and scheduled them for next day (today). They showed up on time and were very pleasant to deal with. When they showed up I actually got a call from Bynum canceling for the day (at 3pm and they were supposed to show between 3-6), I informed them I already canceled. I showed them the items I wanted quoted and ended up getting the smaller ones done right then. I was pleased with the work and plan to use them for the more expensive items I had quoted.

Reggie showed up within a few hrs of my call. Gave me estimate and had equipment and crew here same day to make repair. Can't say enough about how professional and fairly priced for the work. will definitely call them again.

I got Atlantis Plumbing through Kudzu, not Angie's List because after another plumber on Angie's List had come out and significantly messed up my work, I decided not to trust anyone else on Angie's List. I didn't know Atlantis Plumbing also is on Angie's List until now. Tim R and his son came out and told me what that other plumber had done wrong -- they even showed me the cut-off valve, which the other plumber couldn't find (that plumber simply cut off the hot water and told me that that was the cut-off valve). It turns out that plumber didn't even put new washers on the stems, as he told me he did. After finding out about all the lies he told me, I thought about going to plumbing school myself. He certainly ripped me off. However, Tim R and his son did a very good job; I saw all the new products they put on. Everything works fine now, and I will call Atlantis Plumbing again if I have another plumbing problem.

Not well. Person who came unstopped toilet said pressure needed checked and repaired. Told him I was not owner of house. I wasn't given the Angie List discount and to top it off, the repairman asked me for free tax advice.

Called on a Sunday morning. Plumber arrived in 2 hours. Found the problem immediately and repaired for a reasonable price. I was very impressed by the fast response. I will definitely use them for my plumbing needs.

My water bill was getting progressively higher and the floor in my kitchen was very hot. Also, the faucet in the kitchen was running extremely hot. I called Atlantis Plumbing and they detected a leak in the concrete slab. Tim was able to give me an accurate cause of the problem after doing a quick leak detection. I called in another company before calling Atlantis and they were not able to detect specifically where the leak was. Tim pinpointed the problem, gave me a reasonable estimate and began work on the job. It took longer than expected, was more involved and another plumber was called in. After two full days of work, both Tim and James tunneled underneath my home, fixed the problem, caused no damage to the interior of my home and never charged me anything extra or changed the estimate.

1 yr. Parts and labor warranty included. Very pleased with with tech Reggie Knight, he was on time and professional. Explained the problem and the price up front. Will use Atlantis Plumbing again.

I wish I could rate this compnay an A+ instead of just an A. First of all they come out on the weekend without charging you extra and they also give you a free estimate. Jeff was excellent!! What a great guy. He initially thought I was going to need a new faucet, which was going to cost roughly $400 and then he found that a bolt just needed to be tightened so he didn't even charge me. What a great place!! I will use Atlantis again if I ever have issues and I will HIGHLY recommend them to any of my friends that need a plumber.

Initially, I was referred to Atlantis from another A+ plumber on Angie's list. I had issues with slow drains in the bathroom and deteriorated , leaking cast iron waste piping in the crawlspace causing issues. I contacted for a weekend service call and described the issues I was experiencing. They sent a knowledgeable plumber out several hours after the scheduled time frame and I did have to follow up with them as to their ETA (hence my lower rating in punctuality). He did call ahead of time to confirm if any additional materials may be required and to confirm the work scope. Upon inspection, additional work was necessary. The plumber was professional, and did an outstanding job. I have used them since the initial work was performed.

Great! County stated I had a leak because of a high meter reading and subsequent bill. I called Atlantis early afternoon and they came within the 2-4pm window SAME DAY. Reginald performed a check of my water heater and ran a pressure test verifiying my suspicions that there was no leak on my property. Wrote me out a ticket so I can debate with the county that the meter is bad and should be replaced. No charge - in and out in 15 minutes.

The team was on time, we had a leak in a pipe behind the wall in the dinning room. The team was very nice, they removed their shoes to walk on the carpet. The team cut the sheetrock from a closet, so not to damage the waynes coating in the dinning room to find the leak. They cut the pipe that had a nail hole in it, and replaced with a new pipe about 16 inches long. I think the price was a little high, for the amount of time they spent, which was about an hour.

I've had a good experience thus far working with Atlantis Plumbing. The first time this company came out, they gave me a $1,500 estimate to replace the main water line running from the street to my house--with copper. By comparison, another plumber wanted me to pay $3,300 for a new copper line from the street. I forget the exact date of this service, but it was a couple of years ago, and I've had no problems whatsoever with the water line. I feel like I saved a significant amount of money and received quality service from this company. More recently Atlantis came in and repaired a toilet flange for me. They gave me a discount because I'd already removed the toilet and identified the problem. They caulked the toilet properly after the repair and charged me fair rate.

I called them Sunday, they called me Monday, went over to the house to assess the situation, gave me a price, and charged me that same price after the work was completed, all in the same day. That is all I want from a contractor; For them to do as they say they are going to. I have been working with them for a couple of years now and have found them to be responsive, quick, and reasonably priced.

They came and I showed them where the leak could be found. They found and fixed it promptly. Only issue I had is that they did not even throw in the trash the broken items.

They were not licensed, but they were very upfront about it. I would use them again, but I would request a licensed technician. They were very professional. Their pricing was very good. They were very responsive. Rebuttal: "They" did not "determine" that (you/Atlantis) were not "licensed plumbing contractor." The head of household requested to see the license of the gentleman who came out to bid the job and the bidder TOLD the head of household that he was not a licenced plumber but had worked in the industry many years (head of household does not recall how many years were stated). In this instance, we may have received a journeyman but we were expecting to see a licensed plumber. There was no yard excavation or material take off for this job to be performed, only a bid.
