The professional and trusted plumbing company of Atlantis Plumbing proudly serves the metro Atlanta area. Our upstanding plumbers will provide you with quality service and honest assessment of your situation. We can take care of any plumbing issues you may have. From pipe repairs to installations and much more. We specialize in plumbing service and repair, sewer and drain cleaning, polybutylene pipe replacement, pipe camera inspection, water leak detection and trenchless pipe replacement. We currently have a team of over 24 plumbers and office staff. Our average service plumber has over 18 years of plumbing experience, which makes our plumbers more experienced than the average plumber in the area. We have maintained almost our entire staff for the past 10 years with a few additions. We take pride in providing quality work at a reasonable price. Our management team strives to keep our plumbers on schedule, competitively priced, to stay well organized, to keep all work areas clean or cleaner than when they started, and to always show respect for our customers. Description of Work: Replaced hot water heater and re-built two toilets. My problem with the company is that they did work that was not necessary, got a very expensive new heater and charge $180 to re-build two toilets that took about ten minutes to do. Never itemized the bill. Just a flat charge.

Response from Atlantis Plumbing LLC
Call was an emergency and we provided a free estimate before starting. Capped line under modular home so customer would have temporary water. Had to order a special size heater to fit in the space in the modular home. Existing heater was leaking and there were no safety devices and the existing heater was not up to code. We brought the heater up to code, installing new cutoff valves, piping and expansion tank. We also installed a new water heater. We also repaired two toilets that were not working properly. I thought the price was more than fair and doing state of Georgia required plumbing safety code requirements is the law. The requirements" may not be necessary" for water to come out of the faucets and when the manufactured home was built or where it was built it may not have been required., but we are not legally allowed to replace a heater without bringing it up to code. Description of Work: had to find a major leak in my plumbing system.. backing up in my basement.. put camera in the outside drain and found the problem.. this was very late at night and they came when they said they would.. Fixed the problem which was actually coming from my neighbors line. | |Very pleased with their response and pricing was reasonable

[member name removed], The work was completed on 10-16-13 and we had a second plumber go back to re-check the work on 10-23-14 at your request. There was no leaks found with the work on the second trip and there was no charge for the second visit on 10-23-14. From my understanding from the second plumber to visit your house, you did not have any other issues. I do not have a record of any work occurring at your house from our company in May of 2014 as was stated on your review. The price was more than fair and you were given a larger than normal military discount just to earn your business. Great Experience.
Description of Work: This was an amazing experience. Spoke with the technician on the phone to set-up an appt. for an estimate. The technician, Butch Smith was so impressive over the phone with his knowledge of problems like mine. The information Butch shared over the phone gave me the assurance that everything would be fine. Butch explained the process and the information made since. Butch came out (on-time) for the estimate. He was able to diagnose my problem of a broken main line joint before getting out of his truck. Butch and Brandon Saylors performed the work with the utmost professionalism. They were both courteous, knowledgeable, hard working, and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. Great Job. Description of Work: They came and work on our stop valve.I like the owner of the company and he gave me a great price. The man that he sent out and I believe he might have just adjusted the valve instead of replacing it like the owner said they would do. He took maybe about 5 minutes to do the worked on it. The owner seemed very straight forward and easy to talk to.

How crazy! After shopping around calling multiple companies, and calling us more than once to ask the price to replace the two valves under her bathroom sink we agreed on a price. The price was given over the phone prior to even setting up an appointment, the price included parts, labor and tax. The price stayed the same upon arrival. It is impossible to do anything in 5 minutes, let alone walk from the truck to the front door. Replacing two fixture shutoff valves does not take long if you know what you are doing. What more could we have done, polished the copper sticking out the wall? I don't see why doing the job too fast bothers you, we solved the problems, guaranteed the repairs, installed two new brass valves which are not cheap and even honored a $20 coupon off the price we already negotiated. We are now at 11 months after doing the work and I have not heard any calls or complaints from the new valves we installed. Some companies charge a dispatch/service fee of almost the same price we charged to replace the valves. Denis the tech who worked on your house might not be very talkative or entertaining, and occasionally might be grouchy, but he is a good honest licensed plumber who has worked with us almost 10 years. On the bright note the customer would you use again after giving us a bad rating for working too fast. Mike Whitman
