Pete Garner Pools and Plumbing

He talks a very good story. But, repeated broken promises, excuses, sob stories and delays and I am left out my $3500 deposit and absolutely no pool. Steer clear.

Warning!!! If I could give this guy negative stars, I would!!! Peter Garner Pools and Plumbing began my pool project with earnest, completing the first few stages of construction and collecting payment along the way as defined in the contract. But, at some point the project stalled, the next scheduled phase is delayed for some reason or no reason at all, just no one shows on the promised date. A sub-contractor then showed up at my front door threatening a lien on my property because he hadn't been paid by Peter Garner Pools and Plumbing. The pattern, I've painfully learned, has been played out more than once by this person. I was abandoned with a mostly paid for, partially completed project. I placed a retainer with a litigation attorney to send this contractor a registered letter warning him that he was in breach of our contract. No response. We can go to trial to try to recoup what will end up being many thousands of dollars more than we were initially quoted to finish this project but must weigh the cost of attorney fees against getting a judgment against him but still not actually getting the money paid back. I hope this review will prevent this from happening again to someone else. Larry Kuster

He did a great job until he stopped and never came back. He lied the entire time and he was late getting everything done and it took a long time. But I don't wanna go back and redo the pool so far.

I HAVE THREE WORDS "DO NOT HIRE". THIS MAN TOOK $30,000 OF OUR MONEY. DID NOT DELIVER OR FINISH CONSTRUCTIONS OF OUR POOL. PICKS WHAT HE WANTS TO DO AND CUTS CORNERS FOR JUST A PAYCHECK. YOU DO NOT WANT TO HIRE, WE HAVE HAD TO DO THE WORK OURSELVES AND HIRE SOMEBODY NEW. DO YOUR RESEARCH, HE HAS BEEN IN PRISON FOR FRAUD ALREADY AND WE ARE GOING TO COURT WITH HIM AS WELL. HE ONLY DOES THE WORK THAT GETS HIM PAID AND NEVER SHOWS UP WHEN YOU STATES HE IS GOING TO. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DELAY IN PRODUCT EITHER. WHEN HE DOES SHOW UP ITS ONLY FOR 3 HOURS AT THE MAX. HE WON'T ANSWER CALLS OR TEXT MESSAGES. WOULD NEVER HIRE HIM AGAIN OR REFER HIM TO ANYBODY. STARTED THIS PROJECT IN OCT. AND OUR CONTRACT WITH FINANCE COMPANY IS UP IN MARCH. NOW WE HAVE TO GET AN EXTENSION AN TRUST US, ITS NOT EASY TO FIND SOMEBODY TO FINISH A POOL. WE ALSO FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS TRYING TO DO THE PEBBLE TEC WITH NO TILE WHICH WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO HAVE OUR WARRANTY. PEBBLE TEC CAN NOT BE OUT OF WATER AND HE WAS NOT GOING TO DO TILE UNTIL WE DID OUR RESEARCH AND TOLD HIM IT HAD TO BE DONE.
