GILBERTREE

Have used Jeff several times over the past seven years. He is a real guru when it comes to felling trees. He goes out of his way to explain what should be done, what can be put off for later, and will point out other problem areas he sees. He reviews his plan of action with you beforehand to make sure it is agreed upon before he starts. He takes his time, does a spectacular job, cleans up every bit of the debris and always has time for a friendly chat. I cannot imagine using anyone else but Jeff.

We had actually hired Jeff to remove some trees years ago. When our neighbor became worried about a tree on our property leaning toward his house, we decided to call Jeff again. I emailed Jeff and spoke with him on the phone. He was going to be in the area and I couldn't be home from work. I described the location of the tree and tied a ribbon around it. Jeff came out, cut the tree down and put a bill in the mail to us. I would trust him to handle any tree removal. In fact, I have just emailed him to come back to remove some limbs around the house. We have gray squirrels who have decided that they want to live in our attic.

Great company! Jeff is very professional w/ a friendly "can-do" attitude. The most competent tree-service I've ever dealt with. Highly recommended!

Not much to say...they did a fine job.

He skillfully removed the whole thing without any damage to our house. He has done several similar type jobs for us over the years. He is very professional.

A recent storm had blown a 125 year old (counted the rings) white oak approximately 90 feet tall over about 30 degrees so that it was leaning against a neighboring ash tree of about the same size. Mr. Gilbert skillfully sectioned the lower trunk so that it came clear of the ash and fell to the ground in a safe, clear area. He then cut a section from the mid trunk so that the neighbor's line fence could be reinstalled (previously removed to avoid damage when the tree fell). This tree is in a natural area so that it was left where it fell, part on our property and part on the neighbor's property. Since the tree was only leaning, not blown over, we had consulted a local arborist to see if the tree could be saved by winching it back vertical. The arborist said that it would not live because of the damage to the root system. We solicited four bids for the felling of the tree. Gilbertree was by far the lowest bid and from previous experience with him, we knew that he was highly skilled at this type of work. He is also an arborist and confirmed that the tree could not be saved. We had used Gilbertree twice before at our place in Dawsonville, but were not sure if Roswell was in his service area. He said that it was and that in fact he had done work in Atlanta. He is one of the most skilled tree professionals that we have seen also with very reasonable rates.
