Two no-call, no-shows. Refused to answer the phone. And was rude when I finally got them on the phone and asked why they hadn’t shown up. This company should be ashamed!!! Horrible do not use and if warranty assigns quickly ask for a different company.

This company is terrible. They were sent out by our home warranty company to repair our furnace. One tech came out and couldn't figure out the problem. On the 2nd visit another tech shows up and works on it for a while and then says he will have to talk to someone else at the company who might know more and he left. We didn't hear anything for over a week so upon calling them we were told that rodent damage to the wiring was the problem and that our warranty didn't cover the repair and that they had a picture of the damage as proof. We requested the picture from both Summer Breeze and the warranty company and were given the runaround for seven weeks. We finally paid another company to fix the furnace and it only needed a new heat kit, no wire damage anywhere in the system. Then today i received the "picture" from Summer Breeze and it's an image from a website named platinumcctv in an article titled" Replace Your Worn Out Security Camera Cables" from 2016. So they lied about the reason for my furnace not working, lied about having a picture of the damage, sent a false image that they got off of the internet and caused the warranty company to deny our claim for over seven weeks now for no reason. If you are forced to use them by your warranty company, i suggest that you take lots of pictures before, during and after the visit just so they don't try this on you too.

That tech was let go shortly after that. He apparently sent us a false picture because he did not take one as required and did not want to drive back to your home to take one. We are not in the business of denying repairs for home warranty companies as we would not make any profit. We did offer you at the time to send our field service manger out to your home and offered you a free 1 years planned service agreement that you declined and told us you were gonna go on every site you could find and run us out of business. That tech was employee not the owner. Thank you

They were prompt they did a good job and explained things. They cleaned up after themselves and check to make sure everything is fine.
Description of Work: They have done a lot of service for us in the past and the recent work was for maintenance. I trust them for around for five years now and counting.

The technician was rude and unprofessional. They gave us a 4 hour service window and texted to say they were 19 minutes away. I work 20 minutes away and left immediately. The provider kept trying to leave and was very clear that we had inconvenienced him. He assumed I didn't want work done and prepared the invoice. I had to ask him what was going on. He said your warranty won't cover this and I'd charge you $225 to do maintainable or add freon, so I assume you don't want anything done. He showed me what was going on, broke the string going to the attic stairs right in front of me, said it wasn't his fault, didn't fix it, and left me in worse condition than before he arrived.
Description of Work: The provider did nothing but charge me $75 for coming out.

Summer Breeze was the contractor selected to repair my A/C under my AHS home warranty. I could not have asked for a better experience - on time, professional (actually nice!) and completed the repair in a timely manner (which has not always happened with former AHS vendors). Summer Breeze and Travis & crew are A-1!

We have our AC under warranty with American Home Shield. We were assigned Summer Breeze as a provider. We also had obtained quotes from Cool Ray and Piedmont Mechanical. Summer Breeze was very professional and diagnosed the problem in a way I "believed" compared to the other providers. They didn't try to oversell us equipment and didn't make recommendation to add in ductwork like the other providers. They recommended a system that fit with our existing ductwork (I even called the manufacturer of the AC unit to verify the size was correct). Technicians arrived ontime, but job took much longer than expected (5 hours), so they did not leave until 10 PM. They were very thorough, and system is working great. Was also glad Summer Breeze worked with me to handle cash out option with warranty with American Home Shield, allowing me to upgrade the system with better parts/units.

Travis was sent out by American Home Shield to determine why my air conditioner was not working. He replaced capacitor, correctly attached wires and added Freon to my air conditioner. The air conditioner is once again cooling my downstairs. I found Travis to be very professional as he called me about 15 minutes before arriving, arrived within appointed time, quickly diagnosed and solved my ac problem and charges for service call and Freon replacement were reasonable.

Summer Breeze was contracted through AHS home warranty to come fix an "emergency" outage of our HVAC--central air was failing when summer heated up and we used our home warranty to find a contractor. With my wife 6 months pregnant, the idea of a week without A/C definitely registered as an emergency. Little did we know we'd be left in the summer heat for *3* weeks! Other than the low price through the home warranty, this customer experience was terrible. They did send out a tech, Jake, on 6/11, who quickly gave the problem a 15 min. look and said he'd need to come back the following week...during the second "emergency" visit (a week later!), they told my wife they would need to order a new compressor. It took 1 week for them to correctly file the paperwork with AHS for the part. Part of the delay resulted from the fact that they would not confirm whether the part was under warranty, and asked us to do so for them. When we verified that warranty did not apply, it took 1 more week of daily followup calls for us to get AHS to approve the ordering of the part. And when the part arrived, Sandra, the scheduler for Summer Breeze, seemed to take great pleasure in making my pregnant wife and I wait another week for an appointment. Again and again, Sandra played the role of "gatekeeper" rather than actually providing service to the customer. She happily rejected requests to track down anyone who could help by phone or intervene with AHS to speed the process. She told us the part couldn't be picked up until the owner of the business returned from his vacation that week. Far from showing sensitivity to our "emergency" request, she seemed to relish the power to let us burn up for an extra few days....There was NO urgency on the part of the office staff to get anyone out to us quicker. Jake, the tech, seemed sympathetic to our plight, but powerless to move us up on his schedule. After 3 weeks in the Georgia June heat, they fixed the compressor and we have not had problems with the part since the summer. But we canceled our home warranty...we're willing to pay more now for the right to choose our contractors in the future. We would tell anyone to run from AHS too!!! And that low price? Well, the money we spent on a hotel room for one night...plus a window A/C unit, plus many more meals out because we couldn't cook in 100% humidity and 100 degree heat...all added up to a few hundred bucks. And the inconvenience..was priceless. Summer Breeze's staff, especially Sandra, was unprofessional and unhelpful in their demeanor, relative to others in their business. The tech did his job, but the company is NOT committed to providing a positive customer experience.

I was assigned this company by American Home Shield under their warranty plan to check our HVAC. They NEVER return calls and despite being told via e-mail from AHS that the company would call to to set up a MUTUALLY agreed upon time - they showed up unannounced and when no one was home. The receptionist/scheduler then lied about what had transpired to AHS and also told AHS that they would bill anyway in spite of not doing anything. Again, this company never returned any calls and were VERY rude when I did finally get someone on the phone. When I googled this company on the web I found NUMEROUS complaints about them and their terrible service not to mention their total lack of customer service. I cancelled the service request as I did not want a shoddy company such as this to actually do the work, and AHS would not allow another company to come out since this company had already shown up once - in spite ot it not being at "a mutually agreed upon time." I believe they would not be in business if it were not for the captive clients sent them by AHS.

I was very happy with Summer Breeze. The first company I had called claimed that I needed a whole new unit, which would have cost about $1000. When I called summer Breeze and they diagnosed the Freon problem, it was much less. They did a great job, were respectful of my home as they even wore shoe coverings so they wouldn't dirty my floors and arrived on schedule. The job took only about 30 minutes to complete. I made sure I kept the magnet with their information on my refrigerator so I can call them if I every need help again.
Description of Work: Summer Breeze came out in response to my call about my central air conditioner not cooling properly. They diagnosed that it was a problem with Freon. They added the Freon and the unit is working properly now.

I'VE HAD THE ATLANTA GAS COME OUT ONCE BECAUSE WE SMELLED GAS IN THE HOUSE. AGL SAID WE HAD A LEAK IN THE VALVE. NEXT, I HAD THREE COMPANIES COME OUT AND GIVE US VARYING QUOTES ON REPLACING THE FURNACE. IT IS 30 YEARS OLD. SUMMER BREEZE WAS SENT BY MY HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE. THEY DID NOT DETECT A LEAK AT ALL. I CALLED AGL IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD AND AGAIN, THEY DETECTED THE SAME LEAK. I WONDER IF THIS WAS A SCAM TO AVOID HAVING THE INSURANCE COMPANY REPLACE MY FURNACE.

WAS CHOSEN BY MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. ARRIVED ON TIME. WOULD NOT SUBMITT A WRITTEN ESTIMATE OR ANSWER SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. WHEN THE WORK WAS DONE THE UNIT WAS IMPROPERLY WIRED. I CALLED BACK AND ANOTHER INSTALLER CAME TO REWIRE. HE WAS RUDE AND COMPLAINED ABOUT ALL THE TIME IT TOOK TO REWIRE IT AND THREATENED TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY. THE UNIT QUIT WORKING WITHIN 3 DAYS OF SECOND SERVICE CALL.
