We had our units serviced and cleaned in July 2013 by another company. After having them cleaned and serviced, we had a warranty claim through 2-10 warranty company who contracted with Strong Heating & Air. The following ensued . . . From the start, Strong Heating & Air (apparently the also go by Solution Heating & Air) was unprofessional, rude, and non-responsive. The first time they came out to check out the A/C units, they noted that the coils needed to be replaced and the unit needed to cleaned even though we just had it cleaned (and it was still clean) one month earlier. Strong Heating & Air replaced the coils, but still the units would still not cool my home. In fact, after the repair, running the unit RAISED the temperature. I had Strong Heating & Air come out again, and they said the unit need to be replaced because it was too old to do the job. However, Strong Heating & Air did not tell that to the warranty company. Rather, they again told the warranty company that the unit just needed to be cleaned. Really? This forced me to have the previous company come out again and clean everything the entire system again even though it was already cleaned and still clean. Then, Strong Heating & Air had to come out to check on the unit a third time. On the third visit, the technicians essentially said the unit needs to be replaced because it is too old and would not cool the house. However, the refused to write that down as their recommendation on the receipt. They apparently did not want to lose future business from the warranty company. I called Strong Heating & Air's front office with the technician in front of me. I asked them to authorize the technician to accurately his finding on the receipt, but they would not do it. They said, sir, we are , and they would not allow him to write down his suggestion on the receipt. Their excuse was that, oh, the warranty company already knows. At the end of the day, Strong Heating & Air was only concerned about getting future work from the warranty company by reducing the amount of claims instead of doing what is right. If I were paying them out of may pocket would they tell me my unit was fine like they told the warranty company even though it heats my house when it runs instead of cooling it. Pitiful and dishonest. I guess that's what you get from a company with 9 complaints to the better business bureau, an average of 2 stars on Kudzu, and an average of 1 star on Yelp. Pitiful service and dishonest reporting. RUN from both Strong Heating & Air AND Solution Heating & Air!!!!!!

Great service & extremely nice.
Description of Work: Terry Strong did all the work, and it's great working with a small company with no subcontractors. He replaced the water pump as well as serviced the upstairs A/C unit. I called him Monday morning & he was at my house two hours later.

Strong was recommended by home warranty service, once they got the okay they were out the next day, diagnosed the problem fixed part of it, but had to order one part. Had it fixed completely in a timely manner.

WE BELONG TO A HOME WARRANTY SERVICE ($45.00 SVC CALL) SO STRONG HEATING WAS NOT OUR CHOICE (BECAUSE WE DID NOT HAVE ONE); HOWEVER, AFTER SEVERAL COMPANIES WOULD NOT COME OUT FOR SEVERAL MORE DAYS (MIDDLE OF SUMMER) THE SERVICE SENT TERRY FOR NEXT DAY SERVICE. HE WAS THOROUGH AND HE WILL BE OUR CHOICE THE NEXT TIME WE NEED SERVICE.
Description of Work: UNIT NOT COOLING. CHECKED UNIT. LOW ON FREON. FOUND LEAK. FOLLOWED UP NEXT DAY TO MAKE SURE UNIT STILL COOLING.
