They did a great job.

The crew did excellent work, the sod was placed on the sidewalk in the front of the house, they moved the sod to the back of the yard using wheelbarrows. Overal they did an excellent job.

Curt did a great job on both projects. In the front you can't even tell there were 2 large trees and a retaining wall. The ground blends in well with the rest of the lawn. The back looks amazing. It was pretty nasty with that old playground and just dirt. It was virtue unusable. Now we have a nice flat area with grass! The kids can play soccer or just run around and have fun in our backyard. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Curt was easily accessible and quickly answered any questions we had. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely use again for any landscaping work.

Curt and his group were prompt, professional and did a great job for us. Our yard had multiple issues from erosion, to drainage, to too much shade and some plant islands that had gone out of control. Curt gave us a well-defined plan that matched what we envisioned for our yard and made helpful suggestions along the way. They installed an irrigation system throughout the front and back yards and redefined a flower bed gone wild. Underneath our back deck they installed a wall and leveled the area to make a storage area and then poured a concrete pad and added stairs between the two levels. The entire back yard was re-sodded with zyosia and the front yard was re-sodded with fescue where the island was redefined. They accomplished all work in about a week. At this point we're very happy with how things turned out.

Curt was very responsive to my e-mail questions about alternative plants in the shaded landscape. I was concerned that the pittosporum needed more sun than my trees would allow, but Curt assured me they would be alright. He even suggested some alternatives, but in the end, I think the pittosporum was the right choice. My job was scheduled within 2 weeks, started & finished on schedule as promised. He even replaced a broken sprinkler head at no additional charge. I opted to install edging between the cypress mulch & pine straw areas in the side yard myself to save what I thought was excessive cost for Applewood to install it, although I'm sure it would have been a superior product & installation--just more than I wanted to pay for edging material. The plants have survived for 2 weeks since planting & the grass seed is germinating. They worked fast and neatly. I did get an estimate from another A-rated landscaper before deciding to use Applewood.
