Description of Work: My upstairs AC unit wasn't cooling properly. Hixon said the unit needed to be replaced. The unit was replaced but didn't work any better. Some of the time it didn't work at all. I lost count of the number of times they had to come out to "fix" this new unit. To their credit, they kept coming out to work on it. It works now but what a hassle. Also, one of the repairmen caused water damage on my ceiling while working in the attic. They snapped a picture of it with a cell phone but never did fix it. If you want it done right the first time, avoid Hixon.

Description of Work: Heat pump tune up;added freon.

Description of Work: This company damaged my house and told me it was my fault. I did everything they asked me to do while I was on the phone with them. They came out a few days after I had spoke with the office. Mike came in and went to work or acted like he was doing something at least. Charged me there fees told me I needed a new unit which I found real funny because my unit was only a year old. So I refused the new unit he was aggravated so he packed up and left. A days later my floors in the hallway were flooded from my furnace pan over flowing from what ever he did in my attic. No action was taken by the company except blaming me for the flood issue. I called BBB and tried to handle it that way but still no results except me coming out of pocket alot of money to replace my floors. This company is a joke.

Description of Work: We were having some issues with our AC. They came out the same day to give us an estimate for repairs. He told us that we needed a new one. We received 2 more estimates that day. It was a simple repair and we did not need a new unit. I feel as though he just wanted to sell us a new unit. We still have a fees years to go before we need a new unit.

Description of Work: I am new to Angie's list and was disappointed to not see an A rating for Hixon. I therefor felt compelled to write a note. My upstair's a/c went out after many years of use. I priced around, Hixon was the best. They came out and replaced the ac/furnace quickly and professionally. Very neat. Had one minor problem over a year later, they came out quickly on a Sunday and fixed it---no charge. I would use them, again!
