We can't begin to explain the poor workmanship that Robert Gawrys and his contractors did in the course of attempting to remodel our Master Bathroom. The pictures tell it best, unfortunately we can only upload 10 images of the 30 or more we would like to post here. It was as if this was his first attempt ever at renovation work. From poor/unfinished tiling (including the worst attempt at 2 thresholds which were installed OVER the carpeting and were flimsy pieces of wood and broken by day 2), no schulters used on tile edges, drain crooked in shower... to shoddy craftsmanship on the (cheap and improper) cabinetry (see photos of shoddy molding, ugly panels, corners unfinished and/or messy, drawer pulls tightened so hard they ruined the drawer fronts, nail holes unfilled, corners not matching up, and installing a KITCHEN corner cabinet as the upper cabinet which was humongous and not supposed to be hung on the wall and more...), to an improperly installed backsplash with a 1/2" gap between it and the wall (that he later filled with silicone when we pointed it out), to a large gap between the quartz counters and cabinets, to plumbing that was installed so poorly we had sewage backup into the brand new shower which was not draining properly from the start, to not being able to deliver on so many other promised items ( new doors never ordered, a quartz shelf unable to be hung, quartz foot rest not able to be installed in shower) ....we just can't name it all here. We have had to hire a new contractor who is going to cost us anywhere from $5K - $10K to "fix" this mess as best it can be without starting all over. It is in your best interest to not hire this man or his company for any kind of renovation work unless you want to do it twice like we are having to do. We are NOT allowing him to attempt to fix it since it is highly apparent he does not know what he is doing although he repeatedly mentioned having done this work for 30 years. Our new contractors and designers are witness to this horrible work and would stand up for us if questioned in any way.
