We contacted this company and they NEVER responded. Not a word. Nada I listed a date of last contact for 1/31/14, but it was at least 3 to 4 weeks ago. There is a real problem with contractors in the Atlanta area. Very few of them feel it is necessary to return calls or set up appointments. I guess this particular company is very well off financially to turn down business. If I ran my business this way, ignoring potential customers, I would be out of business. We are still looking for contractors, but since I have been down this road before with local contractors, I never allow them a second chance. So, if this company tries to contact me now, well, maybe I will wait 4 to 6 weeks to return their call. They should not be on your list, they don't deserve it.

David was very responsive and professional. However, we have a very tight budget and David did not seem to understand that. We needed help taking things out but when we took elements out it did not reduce the price. The company seems really good and we are disappointed that they could or would not work with us on the price. David refused to share the pricing and was not able to point out what large items could come out to significantly change the cost. Example: can lights are $120 each installed. We took out 10 of them which should be $1200 but when he took them out it only went down $600. If they had been willing to work with us on price we would have used them. However, they came in at $50k over our firm budget. They were by far the most expensive of the estimate we got.

David and Ramon were absolutely fantastic to work with. They made it a point to do everything they could to please us! Each day they left the sight, they left it clean and tidy. They put up dust barriers so nothing else in the house got disturbed. We picked high end finishes and the job could not have been trusted to better people. The finished product is simply gorgeous!! It has been three years and to this day there has literally NOT been ONE DAY that goes by when I don't look at my bathroom with total awe, I SIMPLY LOVE THE JOB THEY DID! Thank you David and Ramon! After a falling out with a previous contractor over escalating costs, Raymac came in and saved the day! They did a wonderful job with our master bathroom remodel. Everything was done to our satisfaction, on time, and on budget. David explained all of the work that would be done and went over all of the costs in detail. Our project manager Darrell not only did outstanding work, but he also made sure that everything ran smoothly and kept us informed of the progress. Shannon managed communication between everyone, organized the schedule, and helped us with our material, fixture, and paint selections. Everyone involved was extremely easy to deal with and professional. The end result is exactly what we had pictured before the project started. We could not be happier with our new bathroom and with how Raymac handled the project.

David and Ramon are great guys to work with and RayMac is a very high-quality firm. Before selecting RayMac, I looked closely at three other firms that all came from close personal references. I had not heard of RayMac before but I found them on Angie's List and invited them into the selection process. I was blown away by the quality of their past work and I met with a couple of their past clients. By speaking directly with their clients it quickly became obvious that RayMac was the right choice. Their clients really like them and that means a lot. The project went entirely as planned and we were amazed at the professionalism and quality of each area of work ranging from framing, drywall, flooring, masonry, electrical, plumbing, painting/staining, etc. David and Ramon are stand-up guys and they stick to their word and deliver everything that they promise. If you are looking for bargain basement pricing, then RayMac is not your partner. But, if you are looking at tremendous value for your dollar and a space that you can be very proud of, then you need to work with Ramon and David. I didn't know these guys six months ago but I am glad we found them. We now have an awesome basement that will give us many years of pleasure!!

Fantastic. Raymac's professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. A complete remodeling can be very disruptive and difficult for a family, but they are very experienced and in tune with these concerns and walked us through it for a great completed project. Their combination of Design, Quality, Technical Knowledge, and Interpersonal Skills, create a winning combination. After struggling with some previous, lower cost, providers, it was well worth a few extra dollars for peace of mind and enduring quality.

I called the provider twice and left messages for a call back. Never heard back from the provider. Very disappointed as I would have expected a brief call back even if they were busy to suggest they cannot take on any further jobs.

They gave me the estimate over the phone that it would be about $75,000. This is much too high for only 1 room. I will not be using them for this project.

We have chosen another person to do the job. They were very polite and gave suggestions. I would consider using them in the future.

Overall, the experience was fine. There are two gentlemen that run the company; one handles the set up and one handles the employees.

The service was excellent overall. They were wonderful to work with, great communicators, and their attention to detail was amazing. They left a clean work environment every day. They completed the job within the estimate and on time. I’ve already recommended them to many people!

Due to tight budget constraints, it is likely that we will be working with another contractor. But I can speak to Raymac's professionalism. They showed up on time--the day after Thanksgiving and were very knowledgeable regarding the remodeling project. They provided a detailed estimate by Monday morning (which means they likely worked on it over the holiday weekend) and it was reasonable and consistent with other estimates for the work that we were considering to be done. My impression is that they abide by a code of good ethics. They were very direct and honest about the challenges of the project. I would definitely consider them on another project if the opportunity presented itself.

After interviewing a number of contractors, we settled on Raymac due to their detailed bid and project plan, attention to detail and commitment to getting the job done the right way. In contrast to a few others we interviewed, they are not just a one-guy remodeling shop -- this is a very organized group of professionals each with specific tasks assigned to them (admin, design, project management etc.). They did exactly what they were contracted to do in the exact time they estimated. From framing to finish, they were very detail oriented and great to work with. They planned everything out so there were no surprises or undue delays. The budget and pricing stayed exactly as forecasted. They were very attentive and there was never a concern or question that did not get their full attention. In the end, everything looks great and we couldn't be happier with Raymac's performance.

His budget starts around 15000-30000. I was planning on spending 8-10,000. They deal with more high end and products and remodeling. He did recommend someone else for the work though.

David, Ramon and Gabriel really came to our rescue on this job. We had just purchased the home and our homeowner's insurance required major repairs to be done within 30 days of closing. I cannot say enough about how well everything went. First, I felt that David did an excellent job of sticking to the required scope of work without trying to up-sell me on things we did not need. The estimate was very detailed and the price was fair for excellent quality work. At all meetings, David was very punctual and the work was done on-time. They even repaired a broken light fixture that we had not pointed out. My husband was surprised to find that at the end of the job there was NOTHING he could find to complain about. We will definitely use Raymac again in the future.

This was a big, multi-faceted project that took considerable time (from planning to completion) and they were extremely professional throughout, and always very responsive. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend them!

We thought that the price was good value for the work they did. They were very detailed oriented and almost perfectionists in their work. They kept a clean job site. They worked with us to develop a good idea of what we wanted to do; it was a fairly extensive remodel. They were just excellent from start to finish. We would absolute use them again and as a matter of fact we just referred them earlier today to somebody.

The price came in under budget. They did a great job. We have had compliments on our basement. They have came out for no charge a couple of times since to fix minor repairs. They are easy to work with and they provide high quality work. They have a really good website that shows the work that they do. They did our cousins basement and that is how we found out about them.

Everything turned out perfectly! They are extremely clean, meaning they isolate their work areas so you won’t have to deal with dust or dirt throughout your home. All of their employees are professional, licensed, and insured to work. Also, the price they charged was extremely reasonable.

They went fabulously well. They completed the work on time. They were clean. They were perfect. I would use their services in the future too.

The people that they use are all very good. I really like their attention to detail and their timeliness. If they said they were going to come, they were there when they said they would be. They got people in very quickly. So there wasn’t any waste of time. As far as things that they could do differently, I really don’t have any suggestions that they could do differently. Their price was fair. I would use their services again in the future.

Right from the initial meeting to discuss the project and get a quote, Raymac was professional. They were very open to our input on the design and had many useful suggestions. We have not remodeled anything before so we asked a lot of questions. They always took the time to answer them in detail and explained everything so we understood it. They were there when they said they would be and kept to the proposed schedule. We finished slightly under-budget (hard to believe!) due to their excellent budgeting. All of their sub-contractors were professional and did a great job.

I had 5 different contractors come in and quote the remodel work of our master bath, hall bath and kitchen backsplash. I threw out the highest quote and the lowest quote. Then selected Raymac based on my comfort level with the discussions I had had with the owner, David McDonald, when he came out to quote. Once we signed the paperwork, he dropped off a notebook for me which listed all of the items I needed to select for the project. I spend the next week shopping for items. The day they told me they would be there to start the projects, they showed up right on time. And every day thereafter they were there like clockwork. Every day they would set up tarps and cloths to protect the path to and from our bathrooms. And they put everything away every night which was especially important with our two young children in the house. The project had it's normal unexpected issues. Because our home is 25 years old, it was difficult to find a tub and spout to fit the space that I wanted. But David met me at the supplier to help work through the options with me. The project manager updated me each morning with what was to be accomplised that day. I felt like I always knew who and when people would be in my house. We are very pleased with our new bathrooms. It was a great experience all around.

Our experience with them was very good. They were very professional. They were on time. I don't have a whole lot to compare the price.
