Timer Tree Service is the worst contractor we ever used. It was a nightmare for us! We contacted this company to remove some trees from our backyard. Chris, the company owner, gave us a written quote, stating “cut tree, chip branches, haul away trunks”. At the end of the 2nd day, he told me his crew finished almost all the work, and a few items left would be done the next day. Since he seemed nice, I trusted him and paid him the full amount. Apparently, that was a big mistake! To my surprise, they dumped all the 16 tree trunks at our cul-de-sac, including the ones which were cut the day before and were already loaded on the top of a flatbed truck. They just dumped everything at the cul-de-sac. Since that day, they haven’t shown up again. I called, texted, left multiple voice mail on his office & cell phone, but no reply. After 8-9 days, he called and told me he was sick, and those debris will be hauled away in a few days. A few more days later, he told me his mom’s company would pick up those tree trunks – after my repeated text inquires. Then again, “the truck is busy and so it would be done in a few more days”. And a few more days later, he replied my text, saying the truck was broken and in the repair shop. One week after another, he kept finding all kinds of excuses. In the end, I had to pay another tree service provider to haul away these tree trunks in the cul-de-sac. They also made a 90% cut in the trunk area on one tree, but let it free-standing there. Chris told me his crew would be back the next morning to take it away. Well, it never happened. After 10 days, that tree fell down by itself, landed on the backyard, making a big mess. I had to buy a chain saw to cut it into smaller pieces to be disposed. From my experience with this company, I can say this company can NOT be trusted. If I can rate them, I would give them an F --.

We made a mistake using these people just because they were in the area on that day. Don't ever use a tree service if you can be there to ensure they don't go in areas that they can't get out of.
Description of Work: What I can say, they did take down the trees but they left such a mess. They got their bobcat stuck in my yard and left my yard with huge bobcat tracks about 3 feet deep. They were lazy, they never should have taken that bobcat down my side yard. They ran over my plants and left my yard in a total disaster. When they finally got their bobcat out of my yard, they ran. Left me with a huge mess. I would never let these people on my property AGAIN.

I felt that I received a good price for the work being done. I told them up front that I was very concerned about my lawn being messed up. They really kept the grass intact for the most part. However, the logger was not as kind to my yard when the logs were removed at the street. I'm not sure you can expect your yard to remain unscathed when having trees removed. I would use this tree service again as the service was performed as quoted.
Description of Work: I had 2 medium sized trees cut down and removed. I also had a couple of large limbs removed from 2 other trees.

Chris and his crew were working in the neighborhood, I had a couple trees that I had to take down and several others that I wanted to take down before getting a new roof. We spoke 2 or 3 times before finalizing price. The crew started the next day working in our yard and 4 other properties in our cul-de-sac. They did exactly what we asked, finished the job quickly, spread mulch where we asked, and cleaned up the property and the road in front of the house. They did not request payment until they walked the property with us to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction.

It was a nightmare, ALL TALK and no action. Once they had my money in pockey they were gone. I was promised that once they were finished you would barely even know we were here I was told! My garden was distroyed by the companys Bobcat that resulted in $2000 with a professional landscaping company. I spoke to the owner while the job was being done about removing mulch. He stated "it'll cost you $300/hr, we under bid on this job so I have to move to another Job where I can make money." The workers attempted to level the mulch in my yard & in turn blocked a water drain which collects water from 3 gutter down pipes. I now have a basement that floods TERRIBLY! In 5 attempts no call back. Thanks Timber Tree Service you are a terrible orginisation & every person I come into contact with seeking this kind of work will NOT BE using you!
Description of Work: I had 7 very large trees cut down.

This was a horrific experience - and definitely fell into the class of 'you get what you pay for'. Or maybe less. The bid was about 40% less than others that we had received - but in hindsight it was definitely not worth it. This was a large job - several very large trees were removed. It took about a day and a half for the trees to be cut down, but they were all drug through our yard with a bob cat. The bob cat was left in the front yard, there were trenches over a foot deep left by the equipment, shrubbery and hydrangeas were destroyed. Even worse, all of the tree debris was left in our yard in huge stacks. Our mistake - not having everything in writing - but we were told that all trees would be cut and removed from our property. . . they offered a lower price if they didn't haul away - and we said we were not interested - that we wanted the debris all removed. Once the trees were cut and stacked - the workers all left without saying anything.. Later that day, 3 men returned requesting payment for the job. We said that we would pay once the wood was removed - and they said that the 'county' was going to come and remove the wood. We said that we would pay once the wood was removed - regardless of who did it. (this was the first mention of the county doing this piece of the job). It just got real ugly from this point on - we had several harassing phone calls demanding payment, in person threatening visit - the police were called. . and it took about 2 weeks to get the debris off of our property when the county finally removed it. I don't think the county workers were even off of our street before the company was here to pick up their check. We paid in full - and then spent over $10,000 fixing the damage that was done to our yard. . . .STAY AWAY!
Description of Work: This company removed approximately 10 trees from our property after a storm. They were referred to us by a neighbor who had used them previously - and who was using them again at the same time as we were.

Excellent. Very skilled workers. Slight damage to fence near very large tree, the company repaired fence immediately without me even having to ask. Managed to get all trees down with only very minor damage to existing tress/shrubs (I was quite pleasantly surprised by this as it did not seem possible!). Delivered exactly what they promised. Very professional crew, sales, and management.
Description of Work: Took down nine trees. One very large near house and branches overhanging house. Eight others also large pines. Performed cleanup and had all logs hauled away.

I would not use this place again. This was a classic event; I got exactly what I paid for. They came in at like 60% of other vendors so I took them. After cutting the trees down, it took him like three weeks to get in here and haul the stuff away. The way I originally found him is because he was cutting trees down in the neighbor's yard behind us. He seemed to be nice and he had a very good price. It pretty much turned out to be a disaster. They were not very good.
Description of Work: I had ten tress cut down by Timber Tree Service. Four of those trees were big trees.

The company did significant damage to the lawn, other healthy trees, and shrubbery while taking the logs out of the back yard, across the Bermuda lawn, and into the street. The crew was, for the most part, unsupervised, reportedly due to illnesses of the crew chief and personal problems of the other representative. No one on the crew spoke English, so it was impossible to deal with mistakes immediately. The job was to have taken two days, but stretched over eight due to equipment problems. The crew damaged healthy trees by letting limbs fall freely to the ground instead of lowering them by a rope. One tree was felled right through the middle of a hydrangea bush. Our lawn and our neighbor's lawn was damaged by the bobcat hauling out the logs. The crew allowed the logs they placed along the curb to spill onto the lawn. One night, they parked the bobcat right on the lawn. The owner asked for payment early so he could "Meet his payroll."
Description of Work: Removed 10 pine trees. Chipped the limbs and spread the chips out when done. Hauled the trunks out in 16'lengths for logger (another company) to pick up.
